I bought this hoping it would be an easy way to have a bit of security in my garden, and it is perfect! Easy to fit, easy to use, super sensitive to picking up movement (I had to turn the sensitivity right down as it was picking up small birds!)So easy to use, all my family can use it through the app which we’ve all downloaded. I loved it so much, I bought the doorbell camera the very next day!The only way it could be improved is if you could pick a particular time to review footage, as it only records when picking up movement, but that is a very minor problem. I love it! Ps. Be aware there is an annual subscription, which I didn’t realise when I bought it, however,

I have a couple of battery ring cams around the property and this floodlight cam is by far the better option.you will need VERY good WiFi signal though and after messing about with extenders and the ring chime pro i had to give up and install an outside access point for the cam but now it works fantasticevery time there is movement i get a notification, the lights are pretty decent too so if its just a driveway then perfect but dont expect it to light up a large garden as there advert suggestsoverall seems a quality product and comes with all the bits to install it.

Gives me peace of mind when I am not home.There are far too many strangers knocking on peoples doors these days who pose a risk to my family. I do not need to answer the door now because I can see who the person is.I also like the idea of being able to control the lights and alarm on the system as well which deters anyone trying to get in to my home.I am going to get another ring floodlight for my elderly father who is in his eighties. I dont like the idea that he is opening his front door to strangers who might take advantage of him.

Great product, great picture quality and not to difficult to install. You need cable to attach it to from your house. Easy app to use on your phone (Apple/Android). You can listen and communicate with anyone outside through this camera - floodlight makes things clearer but to be honest the night vision is really good to begin with.Can increase sensitivity and change motion detector area which is a fantastic option to have if you want to focus on a particular spot rather the whole camera view.

Great concept, allows you to view your floodlit area live, however it doesn't constantly record. E.g. it will only record "Motion" that is detected within your set motion zones, for example if the camera detects something (you can change the sensitivity from human size objects only to all motion), then it will save for 30days, but if there was something suspicious happening outside of motion zones then you can't retrieve the footage unless you happened to be looking at the live view facility.

Fitted under my bedroom window overlooking the drive, drilled a hole from inside the socket in bedroom and job done in under 20 mins. Simple WiFi setup gives me access to images direct to my phone wherever I am, can set off the alarm remotely and talk through it if needed, can set the lights to come on and off at preset times or have them come on when someone steps on the drive or walks by, also use the video doorbell and both come through on the same app. By far the best security camera imo.

Bought on Saturday morning at 11 and installed by 12. Super quick installation and set up. Really straight forward. Ring have thought of everything with the set up box even supplying a drill bit. You do need to pay for the additional features with the yearly subscription but it’s worth it to have access to all the videos at any point.Really like the fact it can send/records audio and can chat 2way through it. The alarm feature is good for a deterrent too (also funny for making people jump)

I have the ring doorbell and now this & it’s honestly the best purchase I’ve ever made, had both up for a couple of weeks & it alerted me and my husband to 2 people breaking into my husbands van, thankfully we had this bit of kit which allowed us to stop them actually taking any of his tools. I could also email the video to the police which came in handy as they have been named from the crystal clear images. so all in all I would highly recommend this product. It’s also easy to install 10/10

Purchased this for a little bit of extra security, wasn't sure what to expect but it works well and does the job that's intended.I was a little bit disappointed to find that the backing plate and nuts to screw it to said plate are both plastic! I would have expected metal componats for the price. Had I know this before had I'd have considered other brands.Dead easy to fit tho, I just added the appropriate cable and put a plug on the end, works a treat. Easy install for any DIY'er

The instructions are easy to understand and all the bits are in the box. It requires basic skills to wire it in. The pairing and the app are easy and clear. All help is via online chat which can be tedious when it drops out. At least they email you back when you give up in frustration. Quality is excellent, that being the build, the filming and lighting. Bewar there is only cloud storage and there is a fee for it. That should be clearer prior to purchase, though the fees are reasonable.

We wanted to replace our existing security light that had seen better days with a light and security camera for added piece of mind. This is really an excellent product, and the fact that it’s easy enough to install yourself means you save on Electrician fees . We watched the installation video online before we purchased to check it looked like something we could do. Maybe took an hour to install all in all. The Ring App is great and I’m now looking at more Ring products for my home.

Competitive price which was quite amazing as eBay normally under cuts most stores ,Easy to instalSwap your current outside light with this in 5 mins Well worth the piece of mind Rings online customer service and help line is rapid and very helpful if you run into any issues which I’m sure you won’t One thing keep your wires small that come out you house into this light as there’s not much room in the mounting bracket to accommodate them ,Go buy while on offer

The product was packaged very well and the Argos assistant at Wilmslow was great. She had my order ready and waiting when I arrived. The product is of good quality and was easy to follow the instructions to install. The most difficult part was just putting the rubber seal on the back plate and getting it to stay there as you mounted the light.The picture quality and notifications are amazing! Even in the dark is very clear and easy to follow up on any movement that happens.

Generally, this has been brilliant. The footage is clear. You can adjust the sensors to give you the exact areas you want to capture and its sensitivity so its not getting triggered every five minutes. You can scare the bejesus out of people by talking to them through the camera. You can set the alarm on them if you want to if they're climbing on your garage room for no apparent reason (yep, that happened) When the app works its brilliant. Its generally a bit laggy though.

I now have two of these floodlight cameras as well as a Ring Doorbell - they're excellent and I thoroughly recommend them. Quick and easy to install and connect - and really simple to customise the settings and alerts. They also integrate with Alexa devices, so if you have an Echo Show or similar you can see the live camera shot on that.. and you can set up with Alexa & SmartThings to perform other functions or notify you when there is movement detected by the camera.
