I got 2 Nest Cam IQs to alert me to when my 97 year old Mom is up. She regularly forgets her walker and has to be watched closely. The cams let me spend time gardening outside without worrying if she's gotten up from one of her naps. They've also alerted me when she's gotten up in the middle of the night, including when she's opened doors to the outside. When I leave her with a caregiver to run errands, I like being able to check in and talk to her and/or the caregiver. I subscribed to Nest aware which alerts me when there's movement by the exterior doors and by my Mom's bedroom door. I'm relatively new to caregiving, as my mom was able to live independently until recently.

My Dad got me a NestcamIQ (indoor) to help monitor my son before and after school while I'm working. Everyday he is responsible for getting himself to and from school as a walker. I love that I can easily check in with him to make sure he's getting out the door in time, or that he's arrived home safely. Added bonus that I can actually hear/speak with him! This is the first year he's ever had to be so responsible, and having the Nestcam makes him feel more secure. Thank you so much for developing a great product & application... It makes -this- single working Mom's life a LOT easier [=

I wanted a camera that I could use to monitor my house. The Nest camera gave me a camera that not only monitors the house, it gives me alerts, facial recognition and the ability to talk to anyone in the room. The design is sleek and fits into almost any design. It's much better than any other camera I've seen and 100% better than the ADT indoor camera. Installation was as easy as plugging in a lamp. Since I have Nest Smoke Detectors I just had to hit the button on the detector and the camera synced right to the wifi, done. It cannot get any easier than that!

With octogenarian parents still in their own home, and a stream of health care aids coming and going, two Nest IQ with Nest Aware have given us peace of mind, that we can check in at any time, monitor both the old folks and strangers in the house and have the ability to look back 10 days should there be any issues. Set up was simple, connected to the app I already had for our thermometer and with a couple clicks I can acces our home or my parents. Definitely worth the cost and will likely expand network with outdoor cams and maybe the doorbell in the spring.

Build quality is excellent. Packaging and setup is also top notch. It comes with a free nest aware for 1 month. But beware. This service is an extra £8 per month (or £80 per year) this will give you the ability for the facial recognition. And online storage. Microphone quality is good as well. Very solid. No distortion. Image quality is also very good. The App (we have iOS devices) is also very good.

This is the best Nest Cam yet! I have had every model indoor camera since the initial Drop Cam. This one is the most reliable by far. It feels premium in every way. It has a WAY better microphone, better speaker, and Google Home is an awesome addition. I also really enjoy the automatic zooming and following. When watching my 2 year old it helps a lot to not have to manually zoom in all the time.

I bought this on a whim. My wife and I had discussed adding an indoor camera to see what our dogs do during the day when we are not there and also to add additional security. The functionality of this camera being able to zoom in and get a clearer picture of what you are looking at and then have it follow the subject is awesome. I also love the fact it can pick up on faces too.. SIMPLY AMAZING.

Very happy with this product,I use Nest indoor IQ primarily for monitoring my pets in the utility room while I’m at work it’s mostly dark so I don’t get anything but a night vision picture however it’s very clear and I can see how my pets are doing well while I’m at work. They are able to come in and out through doggie door from the yard which has visible fence. Recommend this camera highly

Initial set up of the Nest Cam IQ indoor is as easy as other Nest cameras. Scan the QR code, plug in the camera, add to your Next app and you are done. Video quality is excellent. Face recognition pretty good so far. Google assistant feature is a nice +. I have set up IP (internet cameras) for many years for friends/clients. Best Nest cam feature is auto IP/port forwarding = super easy!

My wife and I received the Nest Cam IQ indoor as a wedding present. We set it up in our living room, and after some initial issues getting the Google Assistant feature, the camera has worked to all expectations. The only complaint I have is the occasional false positive motion detected alert due to quickly changing light conditions, for example if a cloud moves out from in front of the sun.

I have nest thermostats and decided to add a nest cam in my daughters playroom. The camera was simple to install, just plug in and being i already had the app it found the camera. The camera has very good resolution and good viewing angles. I have had other cameras that would randomly disconnect from WiFi, i have not experienced this with the Nest Cam. I would recommend this product.

Purchased the Nest Cam IQ indoor after searching the reviews on numerous products. This is the only camera that has the quality of back up with a reliable web based system that is flexible and easy to use. The camera is really well built and so easy to set up that within 5 minutes I was up and running and I am a bit of a technophobe. In all superb quality video footage and sound.

I am a few weeks in to my purchase and have been really enjoying the camera. I purchased these for my next home but wanted to get a few weeks of underrating the system in my apt. I especially enjoy the apps location tracking so the system auto arms as we come and go. It is also important to me to have a cloud service so if anything ever happens, the data is not local to my home.

Upgraded my cameras from my Cox Home security system. I didn't realize home cameras could be so good. My old ones either suck or the nest came are amazing. Probably both. Facial recognition is amazing. Alerts are pretty good, though they pick up the sun as movement. Also would be nice if I could turn off alerts when my dog moves through the house. Otherwise awesome.

Absolutely great camera. My only minor complaint, and it's most likely not actually nest or this camera's fault, but I have to lower the image quality significantly in order for them to work. I have the highest internet speed available in my area (though it is a rural area), but I can't take advantage of the better video quality. Really enjoy all my nest products though.
