Had a few security cameras in the past but the XT2 Blink leaves them all standing. Good clear video recording and free storage along with no wiring installation makes it a must for anyone without time or handyman skills. So easy to relocate if the need be and adding extra cameras well it is a doddle. Ordered from Argos, delivered next day, up and working within an hour of delivery. Works great with our home Dot2 Alexa. So impressed will be adding more camera's. I Highly recommend this product.

This is a very good budget system at An ideal price. It alerts you on your mobile phone about activities that you can see what have been picked up in 10 second clips you can have it set for longer clips of up to 60 seconds which takes a lot of batteries power also you can see it on real time but it can be temperamental it depends on your Wi-Fi signal and how far the base unit is form the camera etc there is also two way talking function which have yet try and you get cloud storage for your clips

Took 15 mins from setting up an account and linking the sync module and camera to the phone app. Really good video quality, wide angle of view and free storage. Works well with IFTTT. Very few false recordings. Have already ordered another.Cons: alerts can take ages to arrive to phone if at all! Yet in the app you see it has been triggered. Even setting at 15 s of video clip and best quality I get a message of high usage sometimes - I don’t expect battery to last more than a year - not two.

No way of changing the alert sound from just a single little ping (ios) as you get when you receive text, I would want to have a more dramatic or different sound to alert / wake me up at .Is that an Apple or Blink issue that could be implemented... I don't know.Night time infrared works great.. impressed + you can block out parts of what the camera sees to avoid false alerts ( moving branches etc).. great idea but doesn't work for me too well.Other than that, no regrets in buying

Bought this after reviewing alternative brands. No monthly contracts and wireless, so plug in, pair and go is all that’s required. So easy to review any footage. It’s in our garage so we can watch the cats coming and going in and out of the house through the cat tunnel we’ve got installed. With no light in there at night the quality is still amazingly good and during the day it’s just like watching tv. Would highly recommend. We’re buying more for other rooms now we’ve had it a while.

The camera and WiFi module feel well made and compact. The camera quality is good. Although given it is for outdoor use I would have expected something with a rubber coating and a bit of a shield over the lens. I’m still not convinced that the camera to bracket connection is the most secure fitting, but it seems to be holding up ok. My only gripe is that the camera’s signal to the module reach is not great which means your cameras need to be in quite close proximity to the module.

After having someone break into my house I wanted a camera immediately and this was the only one in stock at my local Argos. I have to say for the price and the availability I am very impressed. It was easy to put up, easy to install onto my phone and I can see live footage of outside my house whenever I want and the image quality is really good. Really great way to put your mind at ease and to hopefully put off any other rat-bags who are thinking about entering my house uninvited.

I purchased one of these as a trail , we currently have a nest camera system installed but with the expensive monthly charges we decided to try a blink XT2. To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much from it but I am delighted with it. It’s quite amazing and easy to use. The picture quality is up with the nest and notifications come through very swiftly. The fact you located them anywhere as they are battery operated is great. We shall be purchasing a set of 5 of these very soon.

I'm not the best with technology but this was so simple to set up and start using that I will also be buying 1 for my mum. This picture quality is crystal clear in the day and infrared at night gives a good view of my car/garden and the street. The talk function is useful so if I'm not home I can let potential criminals know somebody is on the way to the house. This is a great bit of kit for anyone that hates things that are difficult to set up and wants a simple cctv camera

I bought this outdoor Wi-Fi cam for my hedgehog shelter. After considering other security cams (2 brands of which I already have) this one won hands down after recommendations from a local wildlife group. The benefits of this cam are that it is battery operated meaning no wires outdoors, it is wi-fi enabled meaning no SD card. It connects straight to your phone with instant alerts. Better still no subscriptions. Set up was pretty easy. Compatible with screened Alexa's too.

I bought this as I am away from home a lot, and wanted to be alerted should there be any unwanted visitors. I can view a live feed via the Blink app on my phone, and once armed, any movement within my home sends me an alert letting me know someone is there. I will probably add more units to the set-up, as I feel it is a great budget system. My only criticism would be that it is battery powered and doesn’t have the option to run off the mains. Aside from that, very happy.

Installation straight forward, good connection with WIFI a slight delay from moment it’s recording to you receiving alerting text.Clear sound and vision (you can change settings according to need). I wasn’t aware at time of purchase but it’s a 2 parts device, camera that works on AA batteries and a receiver/network box roughly the size of camera that needs to be plug to mains.I recommend this camera specially because I had a very bad experience with a similar product.

Already have 3 cameras so purchased this one as an add on so have a back up module should my existing one fail. The cameras are very easy to set up (no cables to run through) batteries still showing full 6 months on even the front which has seen a lot of activity. Images in the day are very clear but maybe not so good at night (though have nothing to compare them to) but good enough to see what is going on. For me the alerts on my phone do come through quickly enough.

The camera is very good for its small sizeIt has quite good night vision capabilities and also has variable picture quality depending on how far or close you are to the targeted area you want to record.It also has an activity zone which you can change in the settings area once you have set up your camera so then you don’t get unwanted notifications from tree ect ect. It’s battery powered up to two years (depending on settingsAlso has no subscription fees

An excellent camera. Very easy to set up. Lots of camera setting options, mine is set to the factory defaults and it works fine. I did turn off notifications as they do become annoying after a while. Brilliant clear daytime pictures, night time a bit dark but I have a security light that triggers same time as camera so all is fine. Also found Blink very good in sorting any queries. If you are thinking of getting a camera, don’t hesitate in buying this one.
