I bought a cheap video doorbell as couldn't consider spending loads on a ring doorbell. After seeing the advantages of such an item, and being very annoyed with the quality of the cheap product, did lots of research on the Ring range of products. Seeing as I already struggled with the task of installing an ethernet cable to my previous front door, I wanted to utilise the cable. The ring doorbell operates by battery and WiFi. I hit on the idea of installing the elite camera with the power over Ethernet cable already there, I added a cheap cordless doorbell from a local shop. By doing this there is a continuous power supply plus a continuous internet connection. This allows no WiFi connection problems such as dropout,

Cant fault this camera. I have had the Ring pro doorbell for 18 months and I think it is great. I have never had a problem with it so decided to get this stick up cam, again I think it is spot on! The video quality is good during the day and at night it is fine but at night when you zoom in the picture gets fuzzy. For the money the ease of installation and the apps features i dont think Ring can be beaten. If you are looking for a super high security CCTV system look else where but you will pay 10 times more cash. This for me is the perfect set up for the general public/everyday householder security needs. I cant fault it and will be buying more Ring products in the very near future.

Build quality excellent. 'Unboxing' is that of a premium product. Night vision excellent. Day quality also good. Customisable motion zones appear to work well. The camera works fine as a poe camera, and ALSO includes a poe power supply adapter in the box so you don't need to buy a seperate compatile switch if you want to use poe. The box also includes a regular usb psu link also and 2 different lengths of cat5 cable. REALLY happy with this. 2 way audio speaker could be a little louder though.

I like the very wide angle lens and great quality video Easy to install compared to previous cameras that I have owned. It would be good if there was an option that did not include the POE injection box because my router already provides this and the price could be brought down a bit. Everything is included in the box - even a masonry drill bit and screwdriver! My previous IP camera suffered from spiders that loved making webs across the camera, thankfully they don't find this one suitable.

Bought this for ease of installation (plug in and connect with Wi-Fi and phone app) to sit indoors but look outside. Night vision does not work behind glass. Now I just have it indoors. I have been sent an alert when the light changes from night vision to day and also the reverse lights coming through the glass on the front door. Very sensitive. Sometimes when I go to view an alert it doesn't show straight away which isn't the best for security. Expensive for what it is.

Really pleased with this camera. Quality is great, ease of use fantastic. We have it connected by WiFi at the moment but plan to move it to a slightly more remote location and will be connected with power over Ethernet. Already tested this within the house and it works great. To have power and internet connection both full time and reliable by one single hard wire so easily is great. Motion activation sensitivity can be altered and works really well. Fully recommend.

Very easy to set up. Plug it in, connect to your WiFi and that's it!The images are very clear and an excellent quality at night..It's a wide angled lens so where I've placed it in the living room, I can see the whole room including the front door and conservatory. Wonderful for checking in on my elderly mother. Do check your Internet speed as this won't work if it's too slow.

Couldn’t be more pleased with this camera easy to install and set up ,brilliant clear picture day & night ,it’s amazing what goes on when your not at home ,within the first week caught several people using mine and neighbours garden as a cut through ,we had no idea ,so extremely pleased with purchase.

I currently have 4 of these bad boys a ring video doorbell pro and a ring home alarm system they a quality items and I have had a few different brands over the years of cameras and alarm systems and this is the best by far! Highly recommend Ring without fail

great little camera - does exactly what it says on the box !! we have so far only tried the camera indoors as we are waiting for some building work to be finished before we put the camera in situ - all seems to be fine and dandy !

Good quality images. Motion detection works well and you can change the sensitivity and area.The only thing missing is geofencing in the app. to turn recording off when I'm at home.

I already had the Ring doorbell in place. As soon as I plugged in the new device it spoke to the existing one and informed me it will be working in a minute. It did and it does.

Easy to install and link to ‘phone.Works very efficiently and is relatively unobtrusive in appearance. Quite a low cost means of securing peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Had a problem with one of the two ring cameras I bought; however after exchanging it without any hassle it works perfectly well. Images are clear and really great!

Clear picture but takes abit of time setting up the motion detectetion to get it in the right position. A bit slow to connect to wifi but it works
