I have used Nest products for some time and have always enjoyed the ease of installation, use and mobility device integration. The Nest Outdoor Cam Twin Pack works out a great deal for those looking to add a deterrent to burglars. All the screws and fixings are supplied but I found using better quality raw plugs more preferable. Setting the Camera up to an existing Nest A/C is easy and then setting activity zones to prompt notifications on your mobile device straightforward...

I'm not sure if that there really is a nest twin pack - it doesn't seem to exist anywhere but Argos. That being said the product itself is great, the camera quality is as expected but the app is so simple to use it makes the camera a totally user friendly. The installation is great but be aware that you'll need to have outside plugs or drill a hole in the wall (which means having to cut the plug off if you want to keep the hole to a minimum!)

Fitted 2 of these outside my home after a break in. Can now see the house when away and more importantly get alerts when I'm away to say someone is near the house. Looks stylish and expensive so deters burglars especially like the green light ! The app is great but always room for improvement. my BIG tip is to take photographs of the cameras QR code as you need to scan this if you update your wifi

Great pictures and good control via my mobile. Very sensitive to sound and movement. I have one camera in my hallway, looking at the entry/exit route of anyone coming into the house, and one at my front door.The talk function is not as useful as expected. The time between getting the notification, accessing the camera and activating the talk button usually means the person at the door has gone.

Love this camera (I have 4) but there are some slight changes you could make to make the product even better.First off, the montly cost for cloud storage - make it cheaper the more you add. Paying £120 per year for 4 cameras is the same price as Netflix but there is more content on Netflix. Lastly, the QR code on the back of the device should be put inside the box too to make changing Wi-Fi easy

My Husband and I bought the camera to safe guard our house. It's smart looking, small, strong and so simple to use. And it saved our house! From its position, it picked up the noise of running water inside our home, it alerted us when it lost connection due to electrics blowing and saved us an extra 5 hours of running water pouring through our home. We even saved the video to show our insurers!

The quality of the device is good. The picture is great, covers a wide angle and works in dim light. If you want to put the cable through a wall you have to drill a massive hole, much bigger than the USB plug; The zone movement notifications don't always work properly (known issue) and stupidly you have to have physical access to the camera in order to change things like WiFi settings. Poor WiFi.

I love Nest kit. Well built and exactly what people need to provide a good, well priced security for home and work. The hardware feels good quality and is robust and well thought out.However, the Nest app is flaky. It's not just me - my friends, business partners and family who all have Nest complain about the same problem:the app just does not recognise when a user is at home and switches off.

Installed this product at the beginning December, although we haven’t experienced any crime personally, locally it has increased with many cars being stolen from driveways. This product has already proved its worth providing footage of antisocial behaviour reported by a neighbour. Would absolutely recommend. The police were really impressed with the clarity of the images and the zoom function.

one of the best aspects of the Nest Cam is that it is mains powered and so does not require batteries to be replaced periodically...picture quality is excellent - even at night the image is perfectly visible thank to the 'night vision' feature...it detects movement within a zone you can define and will send you a notification to you e.g. to your phone when you are out as well as ipad/ computer -

Great design, easy set up and fitting. WiFi drops out frequently on my camera which is furthest away from my router and needed resetting after a power cut which isn’t easy to do once fitted, so make sure you take a photo of the code which you need to scan to re set up before fitting. Great picture quality and app is easy to use. For added extras which require a subscription, this is per camera.

We have 1nr Nest Cam Outdoor installed under our soffit facing onto our front drive - gives very good coverage and nice clear picture/video. Very sensative and will pick up movement at the periphery of the field of view. Notifications come through on our tablet (App. loaded) immediately and video is simple and easy to use. We will be removing our older system to rear and replacing with Nest!

A superb easy to install product on an easy to navigate app. Very clear, wide range visuals. Great fun making visual and sound co tact with the family when are absent! The Nest App can be shared amongst family/friends so that others can ensure our home is secure when we are away.Following a free trial we now subscribe for a small fee giving us a complete record of activity on our property.

I bought this to know if strangers or my ex husband turned up at the house uninvited. When parcels are delivered and generally to give me peace of mind. It’s fabulous. I am so impressed I can watch and record remotely. It is so easy to st up on the app. I just had to pay an electrician to put an outdoor power socket in for me and to put it up on the wall. I would definitely recommend this.

This is a well designed quality product. The USB plug is a bit on the large side and requires a large hole to pass it through a wall. You may need a wifi extender to make it work satisfactorily if its mounted high up on the outside of a building.The subscription is pretty much essential if you want to use all the features, if you decide it's a cost worth paying, the system works very well.
