Recently finished this kit and I have to say that it's a real beauty, a few niggles but one the whole it's really nice.The control stick and the antenna pole will need extreme care to remove from the sprue.Parts fit well, small gaps can be found around the wing roots and the underside of the fuselage were the flap for the radiator can be found. The windscreen will need test fitting to the fuselage as I had problems fitting it properly. The ends of the of the undercarriage legs where they fit to the inside of the bays need taking down a little and one of the legs needed warming and reshaping to fit properly. A couple of holes need drilling in the wings for the fuel tank mounts and the stand if your using one.The decals are a pleasure,

This kit has been manufactured using new moulding and the kit has fine recessed panel lines.It is assembled quite easily and the instructions are straightforward.The decals are opaque,accurate and easily applied.It is a great kit for beginners and accurate enough for more experienced modellers.The acrylic paints are very accurate as you would expect from Humbrol.Airfix have really improved in the last few years and some of their kits more than equal the best Japanese manufacturers.Their new Fairey Swordfish kit is excellent and has been reviewed very favourably by expert reviewers.The 1:48 Westland Lynx kits are also brilliant.For those wanting super detailing many brass etched and resin parts

I bought this for my 10 year old son as a first Airfix model. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and everything needed is included in the kit.Having paint as well as decals included makes the kit good for a starter pack as it doesn't assume that you already have done models before.The kit is easy for a novice yet still challenging enough to make it worthwhile buying as it will probably take us 6 hours to complete.

Very distinctive molds, close to no flashing at all, paints delivered with it.Now that I buy a lot of low price models from different companies, Airfix quality really stands out to me.Huge respect to manufacturers, the price is stupid low for the quality you get.Absolute yes.

It comes with all the glue and the necessary paints so there isn't the hassle of trying to obtain the correct paints. The codes numbers for paints from various manufacturers have changed over the years so it can be difficult to get the authentic ones.

I got exactly what I expected. It arrived well wrapped. All parts were there with clear instructions. This was an interesting project do attempt during the Covid lockdown. Its fiddly and not easy to assemble, but then that's part of the fun.

Great little kit bought to have a model of the aircraft in our flight simulator. Only downside was the little tube of glue was missing in the box. Didn’t send back as needed to get it built. Pieces are nicely detailed.

This model is extremely fun to do in your spare time and although the stickers are a bit hard to do at first you get the hang of them. For any person who would like to start airfix I would strongly pick this one first

It's a great little kit and the paint works fine, but there's TONS and TONS of gaps and flashing with the parts. Good for beginners if they need to practice lots of filling and sanding.

Fab starter kit that took me back to my youth. It provided a rekindled interest in the hobby and a great escape during the COVID 19 lockdown. Already ordered a second starter kit

my son loved this and it now hangs from his ceiling, easy instructions and went together well (with a little, ahem, help from dad)

Good product, although packaging was a bit shoddy and some bits were torn at. Although, the product was there, so it is fine.

love it for a grandson aged 7, these kits with paint, brush and glue are excellent and they are easy to contsruct

Nice kit for a beginner. Undercarriage splayed out wider than desired, but otherwise was fun to build.
