I am a big fan of the Cabelas hunting games so my purchase of the Top Shot Elte gun was only a matter of time. After reading a review saying it was hard to set up and not accurate I was a bit dubious about buying one but decided to anyway. I found it VERY easy to set up and very accurate!! It's is all wireless (even the sensor bar) so is very simple. You just put the included batteries into the sensor bar and gun then connect the USB dongle to the ps3, turn on the sensor bar then turn on the ps3. Then you press the front of the USB dongle and turn on the gun for them to pair up and you are ready to play. I played Dangerous Hunts 2011 first and you can calibrate the gun within the game to play.I found to get it accurate I had to raise the sensor bar up on a pile of games (I've positioned the bar underneath the tv as I have a LED tv that is too thin to have anything balanced ontop of it). If it will not calibrate you need to move further away from the sensor bar - I was initially sitting too close and couldn't get it to target correctly through the scope so after sitting back on the sofa I found it became perfectly accurate. If you are in a small room I doubt you could get it calibrated accurately enough - I'm probably about 2.5 metres away from the sensor bar for it to be accurate through the scope. Even if you choose not to calibrate the gun you can still play with it as you have a dotted circle on the screen you can move around with the gun and fire away!! Playing with it does take some getting used to but it's very instinctive as its a gun and you are playing a shooting game!! Reloading is very cool with the pump action and the trigger is very nicely sprung to be responsive enough. If you like the Cabelas games get this gun - they are designed for each other and compliment each other perfectly. I have already ordered the new Cabela 2012 game just so I can play it with the Top Shot Elite. I don't know if the Top Shot will work with other games but that doesn't bother me anyway as I bought it specifically for the Cabela hunting games. I already have Cabela North American Adventures and Dangerous Hunts 2011 which are compatible and Cabela 2012 on the way! Go on treat yourself and get one - great fun and a great quality gun from Activision.

HI, Brought this gun as im big into VR ( Gear VR) I am learning to code unity games and i wanted a cheap gun that i could code into a a gear vr app, this fitted all the needs i want.The button maps are read within windows as buttons 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10They work out the box.IF you are into VR and you can code this gun will be your first choice. It uses bandhero 2.4ghz usb module. But as the Grey Gear VR has a usb port you are able to connect it to the port there.Also you will need a USB-C OTG connector, the stock one that converts USB-C to micro does not allow data to be transfered.All in all you are able to attach your gear vr controller to this gun ( for giro movement)and you will be shooting in about 25 mins)I cannot offer any more info about the game as i done have a ps3. But if i did have one i would of loaded it for sure :)To note the sensor bar is like the wii, tracking is done via the gun its self,

I brought this gun for Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013 and I can only say its 'AWSOME'.Very easy to set up and quick game play would recommend to any gun nut!5 stars !!!

Arrived on time, easy to set up. To get the best results its best to be 3 or 4 meters away from the TV
