Aberlour is my favourite distillery. The 12 is my personal favourite and I was looking forward to the 18. It did not disappoint, though I would say that it is not 4x better than the 12 despite being 4x the price. Also the bottle was 50cl, not 70, which I wished I had known before I bought it.All in all it is smooth, flavourful, easy to drink and very quaffable. But then so too is the Aberlour 12, and for a fraction of the cost.

The 10 year old of this is so good it doesn't make economical sense to buy this. The supermarkets frequently discount the 10 year old to about £22. Majestic is permanently about £24. So you can get three 10 year old bottles for the price of this. I did enjoy it but not three times as much as the 10. If you get it as a gift from someone you won't be disappointed.
