Great pad for retro play!I’m using on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I’m using the in built Bluetooth on the pi, after a few false starts it connects first time and every time. I do recommend the latest RetroPie though and make sure you add the command line for 8bitdo controllers otherwise the connection will drop out as will your hair as you pull it out trying to figure out what has gone wrong.There are lots of guides and as mentioned in other reviews if using on pi use either the X input for Windows or B input. Switch one will just give you grief.Game pad is good in the hands, feels like the SNES pad. Buttons sturdy and satisfying to press - this is no cheap knock off.Firmware is updated regularly from the 8bitdo site and dealt with a lot of my issues.

I bought this pad for retro gaming on my PC via snes9x. Out of the box, I synced the pad with my PC via bluetooth, however subsequently was not able to connect. This was quickly resolved by updating the firmware to the latest version via the utility 8bitdo provide on their website. Overall I am impressed by the feel and build quality of the gamepad. The dpad and buttons are responsive and feel like the original ones from back in the day.

This thing works great!! I was using a PS4 controller with the 8bit do SNES Bluetooth receiver but it just didn't feel right. I have a collection of old consoles for a reason and this pad gave me the feel I was missing. Highly recommend their products.

Tried to play with this controller- works perfectly via bluetooth.Still I wouldn't order it if I knew that the color would be dark blue - I would get another color for sure.It was pretty disapointing (

8bitso best third party controller. This is fantastic design. Cute design and colour. Syncs with PC no problem with Bluetooth or wired USB. 5/5

Works brilliantly and very comfortable to use.Only bad thing I could say is that I ordered a purple one but received a blue one

I’d prefer USB C as it’s a better standard, but apart from this, it’s a SNES controller and a damn good one too.
