== REPLACEMENT REVIEW ==So after trawling the interwebs and finding conflicting reports on how to set stuff up and posting on a reddit, someone just told me that my hardware was guff and to return it, so I did and got a replacement and it paired straight away no issues so far (only had it a day).I was using it with RetroArch via steam (over steamlink) and it works a treat, no faffing about, I still give it 4 stars as there are lots of different modes to it all and it seems a little complicated especially with the conflicting info, but if you just hold start OR R + Start and pair it, and start playing everything seems to work fine.== ORIGINAL PRODUCT REVIEW ==Spent over 2 hours trying to pair the thing,it flashes but never comes up in bluetooth listings on Phone or Windows 10, have tried starting it as keyboard as per their youtube (B + Start) have tried just doing it as a gamepad (Start), have tried joystick (R + Start). Then although their Youtube and most documents say just do the above, one other lone document on their site says power it on then press the select button for 2 seconds, a light blue light flashes for a moment, but nothing changes. I have also done a myriad of other button combinations to see what happens, my favourite was holding start and select which makes it just do R,G,B in a disco fashion. I have also done the whole "hold start for 8 seconds to reset the device" this hasn't improved anything either.I have also tried connecting it via USB to the computer incase it was the bluetooth being a problem (have lots of other bluetooth devices connected, and have even removed some of them incase there were some conflicts, but nothing worked, and plugging it in USB just seemed to charge it.Anyway some people apparently have it working, I am not one of those people... I expect you won't be one of those people either.

Super little controller. It took a few attempts to pair with my phone, but I put this down to the usual vagaries of bluetooth pairing. Once connected, there's little issue in future connections, although I've had to unpair it and pair it again once or twice.I don't know its battery life as I've never run it down, but there are generally no issues with it being knocked on by mistake. I'm sure another review said this was an issue because you can't turn it off, but you can; hold down start.I haven't tried connecting to anything other than Android, but I do like the simplicity of the various means of switching it on to pair with different devices. In use, it works a treat. The buttons are sure and suitably clicky, with just enough resistance to avoid accidental presses, but not enough to require force. I've used it with Retroarch and played a mean game or two of Super Mario Kart and Super Turrican, the memories and muscle reflex suffering nought from the controls. Being so small you'd expect it to be a bit fiddly, but it's so light that there's no heft to support and all buttons are reachable without having to cup the controller to prevent if falling from your hands. You can also easily roll a thumb from one button to another, so hitting multiple buttons isn't an issue. I really should've tried Super Mario World where you tend to hold down one button almost permanently to run, using another to jump, but I haven't gotten round to it; Super Turrican uses most of them and that felt just fine.Summary: a cracking device that's a perfect fit for the pocket and the only likely controller you'd be willing and able to carry with your phone without donning a large pocketed jacket! It's smaller than a modern car key fob! I think I need to buy a second for safekeeping and/or two player :)

I was looking for a small bluetooth controller that I could use with either my Android mobile or my Windows 10 tablet and I must say that it was the correct choice. English isn't my mother language, so I'll try to be brief.Pros:- Good materials, the gamepad feels sturdy enough for daily use and the construction is neat. Looks more expensive than it really is.- Synchronisation is easy and quick (specially under Android)- You can carry it everywhere in your pocket, however, despite being small, it is quite confortable to hold if you don't have big hands.- No lag detected so far (several hours playing classic games)- The price is very good.- Decent battery life.Cons:- Everytime you want to synchronise with other device, you have to delete the synchronisation with the previous device. Not very annoying, but could be better.- Too small to perform accurate D-pad maneuvers in fighting games. It was almost impossible for me to get a Shoryuken in Street Fighter II despite having small hands.

I got this thing after thinking to myself "I wonder if I can get a tiny Bluetooth controller".Five minutes of Amazon searching later and I found this thing.Pros:- Small- Cheap- Great for emulators- Works as a remote shutter for your selfies as well- Feels nicer than you'd think for the size and price- Can easily be carried "just in case" you want to game on your phone etc.Cons:- Battery discharges while off, so occasionally you'll get it out of your pocket and it'll be dead.- Very occasionally (once every few months) has a bit of a problem maintaining a connection.- The D-Pad is a tiny bit squishy.- Has only 2 shoulder buttons and no analog stick so you can only use it for emulating systemsthat don't need those.Overall it feels and functions well beyond what you'd expect for the modest price.I can easily live with the shortcomings for the convenience of having the controller in my pocket, ready for an impromptu game of Sonic the Hedgehog on the train.

This is a delightful little controller. It has a self-contained battery and supports several different emulation modes, including the "iCade" mode which simulates a bluetooth keyboard so it can operate on iOS devices (which is why I bought it). It's very small and thus has been scooped up and lost in the children's Lego box on several occasions, but despite this still manages to be usable without being fiddly.I've also used this in conjunction with a Raspberry Pi running Recalbox for a few rounds of Super Mario Kart SNES, and all participants agreed that despite looking small and fiddly it's a really good little controller.I'd give this five stars, but it comes supplied in the really irritating sealed plastic packaging which splinters into shards when it's prised open.

Great controller, works well with my Mac.If using Mac ignore all the instructions that come with the controller/online and switch on/pair the controller by holding the start button instead of start+b. This will put the controller in gamepad mode which works with Openemu and mGBA on Mac.Pair by selecting the controller in bluetooth preferences, the battery meter does not function and will show empty but this does not effect any functions.Open your preferred program and in the settings choose the controller, select each button in the UI and click the corresponding button on the controller until all the buttons have been stored. Then enjoy playing your games!Hope this was helpful!Click yes/helpful below if this helped you!

Bought this for my partner to use with his tablet. He likes to play emulators with some of the old classics on it. It worked a treat for this, it has connected with every device we have used it with so far. It is a good size for all ages and has successfully been used by a 38 year old and a 9 year old.I only wish it had come with a either an on/off switch or a case. As when it is carried around either in a pocket or a bag, if it gets knocked it powers on and tries connecting therefore running the battery down.

Great purchase, looks very cool, essentially a mini SNES controller.Very portable so great for use on the train/ at work- I currently use it for SNES + NES emulation games, also works well for some of the PS games (that don't require all buttons)haven't had any issues with battery life- tablet/ phone will usually run out before the controller doesI also use it a remote control when i'm watching media through a tv.Bluetooth set up instructions could be a little clearer- but very little to fault

Works better than I'd hoped, and battery life between charges seems adequate. Would've been nice if the keys used could be changed when in keyboard mode. (Start & B when turned on). Defaults are: Up = c, Down = d, Left = e, Right = f, button1 = g, button2 = h.Would've been nice if you could edit a cfg file/text file somewhere and change these assignments, plus the game pad is smaller than expected, otherwise very good value for the money.

This is a really good buy. Though its half the size of a credit card, it is just big enough to still work, even with quite large hands. I tested it on an android phone playing GTA: San Andreas and Retro City Rampage, it instantly paired and worked without any issues straight out of the box. Especially for the price this thing is hilarious and if you ever consider playing a retro game on your smartphone it is a must buy.

This thing is hilariously small, in a good way.Build quality is surprisingly good; all the buttons have a tactile click to them, none are mushy. The rear panel is almost rubberised, has a nice grip to it. The front panel is a shiny plastic, makes the whole construction feel more expensive than it actually is.Definitely recommend this if youre into Emulators or general mobile gaming.

Great tiny little controller, the buttons are super clickteam and satisfying, it also fits on my keys so I can use it whenever I need it, it's also really easy to set up and the battery lasts for ages, only gripe I have is that sometimes it switches on in my pocket and wastes the battery, kinda wish there was a small on/off switch

A fantastic little controller. Great for emulators etc although it quickly becomes sostenuto that not many android games are controller compatable as they tend to be designed for touch or motion. So this is not the fault of the controller and it feels great in terms of quality although prolonged gaming sessions can be tiresome

Works great on Raspberry Pi 3 with Retropie. Took me a while to get these paired because I was trying to do it via retropie_setup.sh in terminal. Just go to the Bluetooth settings in EmulationStation and then pair them in there. I think I held the R (shoulder button) and then start button to switch on, them search for it.

Great tiny controller for on the move android gaming. The instruction card that come with it is a bit basic but I found a pdf on their website with a lot better instructions. However only supports the old icade iOS standard so doesnt have Apple's MFi technology. SO might not be the best thing to get for an iOS device. :)
