I currently have four cats and have owned many more throughout my adult life so I'm no stranger to poop and it's disposal. Thankfully I only have one (elderly) cat that needs litter and we mainly use the wood pellet variety. I have no real complaints with the pellet litter other than it needs changing relatively regularly despite only one cat using it. And it comes in really big heavy bags so it can be tricky for me handle. I wanted something lighter and litter I could get on a subscription basis to avoid those awkward moments when I run out.My mum alerted me to this type of litter after being recommended it at a pet store. After looking at customer reviews online I decided to give this a go.My first impression was 'whoa what a small bag!' It would probably only do for two changes of our litter tray. I filled the tray and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely lavender scent. One of the reasons I use the wood pellets is that I can't abide by the sickly sweet artificial smell that other cat litters have so this one really gets a thumbs up in this regard. The proof of the litter, though, is surely in the pooping and cats can be fussy beggers when it comes to litter. Before long I could here my cat furtling around in her tray and snuck a peep around the door. Pamela initially scrabbled around in it for a bit, as she tends to with smaller grain litter, but soon settled down to business. Before long she was done and zipped off to scratch some furniture. The used litter swelled slightly and clumped together in a mushroom shape. It was very easy to transfer to the toilet with a litter scoop with no litter 'droppage' en route. I noted later that poops are also easy to remove and that all I could smell was the lavender scent.I've been using it (well the cat has) for just over a week and I'm really happy with it. I haven't yet had to change the litter though I think it might need topping up by the end of the week. I also like that it flushes easily and will compost (sans poop) once it's finished with. My only slight gripe is the price - I'm hopeful that it might come down in the future. All in all a great product.

I have tried a number of cat litters after rescuing a pair of indoor cats in a very poor state. Due to their history, the cats had thus developed some unsavoury habits which caused them to dig and crumble their mess in the litter tray.I have tried a huge variety of litters within this last year from wood based, clumping, clay and even limestone and 'crystal'.On hardwood and stone floors I found that the wood-based litter would track on the cats paws, consequently dry and thus breakdown into a almost powdery substance that scatters across the entire room should there be any draft. The limestone would again scatter across the floor but inadvertently, get caught under the mop and litter tray (when moved)and thus end up scratching the stone tiles, causing irreversible damage to my floors. The Clay and clumping type forms a "cloyee", sludgy mess. This requires the tray to need constant deep cleaning as the mess settles on the base of the tray.I really liked this one, especially with my particularly messy cats as not only does it clump on sight (mess doesn't sink to the bottom), it doesn't form a sludgy mess, it is so much easier to scoop, which means the entier contents need emptying out less often. But also smells very much like my garden lavender - not chemical at all.The cats are also very happy too as it doest stick to their paws like the other types therefore less mess and less of a need for them to incessantly drag their paws across the tray to wipe away residue. One thing to bear in mind though, If your cats are of the pale coloured persuasion, then the litter does have a tendency to stain the hocks and pads: a rather unpleasant pale yellow, due to its corn based nature, hence the removal of one star. As I like to product so much, I'm willing to put up with this shortfall.I just wish it was cheaper!

This IS the best cat litter I have ever used - period. It lasts a long time. A really long time.It is really good at absorbing cat pee and making it easier to dispose of.If the cat covers its solid waste, the odour of the litter will cover it up.We have our cat tray in the porch and the first thing you smell is the lavender scent - not Opal's (our cat) smelly stuff.Unless you have that special matting to collect the litter as it gets in the cats paws you will find bits of it around the house where ever the cat goes which - lets face it - is everywhere, but we find a lot less of it than the other litters.Yes - you can dispose of this down the toilet if you want - its not clay based. We have one cat,and this bag lasts us well over two months - it pays for itself when compared to purchasing 5kg bags of other brands.Long lastingSmells nice. Not us dusty at the bottom as others are.Clumps perfectly and efficiently - very little absorbs loads of Tiddles' tiddle.Highly recommended. This is our 'go-to' cat litter.

This cat litter is great at clumping and we honestly have not looked back since first trying it. We have tried many different cat litters over the years with our four little terrors, and this genuinely is the one we think most highly of. The lavender smell is quite strong at first but does dissipate quickly. In terms of usage it's not that dusty and the cats seem quite happy using it - all four use the same tray and at least two of them don't bury, so the absorbent nature of this litter does reduce smells. It took a while for the cats to get used to the smell as they were a touch adverse at first because it is quite strong when you first open the bag.We use a litter robot automated litter tray that self cleans, this litter works the best with it (better than clay and wood)Pros - nice smell, reduces odours, clumps well, little dustCons - hard to find any!

It was better than the other versions talking about the scent. It clumps well and my cat went to the toilet with no issues since day one. The smell it’s a bit strong naturally but we left the bag open on our balcony for a while before adding it to the puppy house ( as I called it ?). This is the 2nd litter I have tried and it was good. Because it is a strong smell when I go to clean it because the concentrate lavender and all the reviews that it might be dangerous for the cats I decided to try another one. I bought the Sanicat natural dual scent and the smell it’s great when I clean it, clumps well too, my cats likes it and doesn’t have any strong smell around the house. I clean the pupu house 1 or twice a day (depending on my cat). I hope this helps! The best thing to do is to try until you find the best one for you and the cat ❤️

Love this litter! Our cat was having some "unwanted elimination" issues so, after extensive research, we tried a two pronged approach! Added another litter box where the elimination was most frequent and change her litter. I bought a small bag of the lavender scented litter and it has changed the game! We now have a VERY happy kitty and a flat that doesn't smell like she has ever used the litter! The lack of dust is also a BONUS! Having only known CatSan previously the dust given off left me coughing and our girl's fur kept getting residue (not fun for anyone). I've now recommended this to my mum for our other kitty as it is softer on their paws too!If your kitty isn't a fan of strong smells go for unscented but as far as we go this is the best litter so far!

I was a little sceptical about buying this cat litter at first due to its price but I'm so glad I did! It's worth every penny. It really is the best cat litter! Brilliant clumping, great odour control, no tracking around the house and it lasts quite a long time (I have two indoor cats, two litter trays, i have been using it for just little over two weeks and i still have half the 12kg bag left, and you've got to bear in mind that a lot of the bag was used when first filled the trays! So the fact I still have half the bag left is pretty good :) ) What more can you ask for ?!***UPDATE***A year on and I am still very happy with this cat litter. Highly recommend! :)

I know this may sound cliche, I was skeptical when I read the reviews but the moment it arrived I was excited to test it.First thoughts:The smell is great! The size of the granules were really small but not dusty. Which was very different to my previous litter! The clumping was amazing and yes it is more expensive but due to the clumping you keep what has not interacted with the urine/faeces. Therefore it actually isn't so pricey!Final verdict, the no dust and great smell which masks the urine and poop really sold it to me! The clumping was a bonus meaning the big bag will last me!Try it for yourself I'm sure it won't disappoint!

We have been using this litter for years for a multiple cat household. It is the only litter that properly does the job and isn’t dusty or makes my allergies go nuts.Overall review:Clumping - Perfect, easy to scoop outScent - we’ve used all three versions and to be honest they’re nut crazy different in the scent department. After the litter has been in the box a few days (with daily scooping) you can smell a but of an odd smell but that’s the litter material. The smell isn’t bad it’s just odd.You can flush it! (In small batches of course)Great litter, highly recommend. Would never go back to wood or clay based.

It may be twice the price of all others but its worth it. It last twice as long as most of the others there is very little mess it flushes down the loo and can go straight in the compost bin whats not to like Oh yes it smells nice too!! I have the lavender one. I do have one complaint the bag it came in was not very good it had two puncture marks when it arrived so its not strong enough it has no plastic zip to reseal and it does not appear to be recyclable which is bizara given its eco credentials given the price I think the manufacturers could improve this quickly. However you should still Buy it Buy it Buy it.

Bought the smallest bag originally as a trial and wasn’t disappointed. Sick of the smell of urine from our previous litter, dust, and having another black bag to throw out every week! Having two indoor cats I was on the hunt for a better litter and found this. I absolutely love it and so do my two cats, it smells lovely you can no longer smell any bad odour. The clumping is amazing no mess and easy to scoop up, we don’t waste anywhere near as much litter so making the most of each bag. Even though it’s expensive, it’s worth every penny would never use anything else now!

this product is very good at keeping toilet smells in the toilet box the lavender smell covers the odours from going around the household my cat dusty at first was reluctant about going into the toilet box but now she has no problems about going into the toilet box plus the fact cleaning it out every day it makes her wee go into a lump so it is easy to clean out as it makes the wee go into like a hard ball so i only have to get the little shovel out and it picks it up in one go with no spillage

I love this product. The scent is very pleasant, I didn't find it overpowering at all and after a few days I could only smell the lavender when I was cleaning out the litter trays. It is expensive compared to other brands but its very long lasting and saves me lots of time as I'm only scooping out the clumps and not having to empty and wash litter trays. It forms really good clumps so the remaining litter isn't soiled. My cats haven't appeared to notice the change from the original Worlds Best.

I tried this litter for the first time 5 weeks ago. I am impressed by the quality and durability of the product. I've 3 cats, 2 litter boxes and after 5 weeks, there is still some litter left in the old bag.Really handy as it is a clumping but 100% biodegradable. Great for absorbing odors. One only thing I'd like to ask the manufacturers: why not put a handle on the top of the bag? It would be really handy, especially for the big 12.7kg bag.

11.2.2019

Easy to clean, I like the idea which can be flash into the toilet. It does last long and the smell was not synthetic. Both my kittens used the litter straight away without any problem. The only issue I have got is the delivery, this time the bag is broken, the delivery man suggested to decline the delivery but I needed it urgently, so I have to accept It without knowing if any litters lost during the delivery.
