Got this for my niece on her 5th birthday. She loves it! I read the reviews on here and saw that it is a bit fiddly to put the batteries in, so I did that before wrapping. You do need a tiny screwdriver to open the battery compartment, so you might want to get one before to save any disappointment! It looks great out of the packet and was very well received as a gift. The back plate fell off a couple of times - it's a bit wobbly - but once it was in place (where it will be staying) it was fine.

A lovely looking night light, the torch is brilliant and super bright. Makes it great for toilet visits in the night. The night light as a whole is great, not too bright, not too dim. The projection isn't brilliant, the picture is very unclear, and too dim in my opinion. My reasons for giving it four stars are the projection part being a little bit poor, and that you can't set the night light to one colour. It changes through a sequence of pretty colours. I think it could be distracting.

I bought this for my 4yo, as she wanted a night light and loves My Little Pony. This is a lovely little night light, not too bright, but enough to give the bedroom a nice glow. You remove the pony to turn off and replace it to turn the light on again, very easy for a child to use. The projected image isn't very clear, but that doesn't bother my little girl and she loves it. The only downside is that it switches itself off after 5/10 minutes, which isn't good if the child wakes in the dark.

Bought for 3.5yr old for Christmas - she loves it. It goes off after about 10 mins so not ideal if you need something to stay on constantly (unless I've missed a switch somewhere) but its enough for her, and the little torch is ideal as she can just pick up to switch it on during the night.Design scored down a bit as you have to place the torch in a certain position to make the reflection part work, but she got used to that quickly enough

I got these for my 2 girls for Christmas aged 14 months and 5 years. They loved them. Find them Really simple to use and are very pretty when lit up.Only down side I have to them is they come apart too easily and also the projector bit doesn't shine too great and can't see he picture projected well even on a dark plain wall. Overall would reccomend as they were great value for money and my girls loved them.

Bought this for my daughters 7th birthday as she has a blackout blind and was scared. Absolutely brilliant although the rainbow dash torch is poorly designed as the screws to put the batteries in are so tiny and far back into the plastic that I couldn't get Into it. But the projection on the roof/wall is great! Really clear once adjusted and easy for children to use. Great for any child!! Must buy!

My 4 year old has suddenly become afraid of the dark so think night light works really well! The light goes off after a length of time which saves on batteries. When she needs the bathroom she simply takes the pony with her meaning there is no need for me to get up (handy as I also have a regular waking 1 yr old and a 9 week old baby). Super happy with the price and quality.

Nice little night light/ torch combo. Does take batteries, would have preferred it to be plug in but it's still a good little night light. Has a switch at the bottom of the pony that turns the torch off when it's stood up and platform only turns on when torch is stood on it. Goes off after about 10 mins which helps save on battery power if child goes to sleep

Great little item - the pony acts as a torch, and automatically turns off when it is set down. The night light base is great too and interacts with the torch when it is placed onto it. The only poor bit is the projected image, because despite being able to focus it to the wall, it's not clear at all, and still looks out of focus. Still a great item though.

My 3 year old loves looking at the colours changing and it turns off after so long meaning it would take be left on all night and I don't have enough to manually switch it off. Think the projected image could do with being a bit more interesting or changing with the colours etc but overall both me and my little one like this!

Nice little light that projects an image on the wall. The light is not going to be bright enough for reading but a handy torch if you need to get up in the night. The only critism I would make is that the torch only rests on the stand so its easy to knock it and turn the light on. It would be better if it clipped in somehow.

My granddaughter loves this and I was impressed also. It's so cute and a very reasonnable price as well. The reason I only gave 4 stars for ease of use was because you need a really small screwdriver to undo the screws to put the batteries in and most people don't have one that thin. Luckily I did! Good buy, nice price.

My daughter loves this (she's 4) but I am disappointed with the fact it is only battery operated and doesn't stay in long. It doesn't tell you that you need a battery in the torch bit so I had to google it to find out. For the price it's not brill but my daughter uses it every night and it's quite cute I suppose!

This is our second goglow as already have the paw patrol one. Only downside is placing it somewhere where the projector will illuminate onto wall so it is facing the wrong way around in our rooms as need it facing outwards into tge room or ceiling. Little ones love torch as well. Still recommend it though.

Got my 3 year old this for her 4th birthday and after years of having to have her tv on at bed time and having to leave bathroom and hall light on for her she's been going to bed with just her night light and the detachable torch is fab for if she needs the loo during the night xx
