I bought the 'Soothe n' Snuggle Otter' for my baby when she was 3 weeks old, she is now almost 8 weeks old, and we use this throughout our entire daytime and nighttime routine. I love that it can go wherever we go, and that its gender neutral, so it can be used when we have baby #2 (if she ends up sharing it, I feel like I'm going to buy another one). It calms her down fast, and also relaxes her (the breathing feature is amazing), my baby is quite the snuggle bug and will cry if I leave her just to go to the bathroom, this has helped me out immensely on just getting to go to the bathroom by myself without hearing a screaming baby. This is probably the cutest stuffed animal and cuddle toy I have ever seen. My four year old loves it more than my 2 month old at the moment because of all the features and that it’s just a super cute toy. We got it for my 2 month old but he seems too young to really appreciate all the features. The music and movement of the belly is the best because we can put it beside the baby when we put him into the crib and it will help him stay sleeping. It also turns off automatically after about 30 minutes. There is a nightlight feature on the belly as well. It’s also very soft and easy to physically fall in love with. I imagine that as the baby gets older he will appreciate the features and details of the toy more and more.

The Soothe 'n Snuggle Otter is not only adorable, it is very functional. My baby is attached to it! It helps her fall right asleep and keeps her interest due to the calming, soothing music. She giggles everytime she sees the otter's belly move. The otter is very soft and made of high-quality material. This would be the perfect gift for a baby shower as it is gender neutral. If you have a fussy baby and have tried everything from pacifiers to teethers, I definitely recommend this awesome product. It is super soft and perfect to snuggle with. You can also change the settings of the music. The vibrating and humming instantly helps my baby fall asleep. It is also great to take on the go,

I’m going to start by saying this you didn’t help my 3 week old baby sleep. If she was fussy and I put this next to her she didn’t calm down every time. However, I still think the toy is very cool and worth a try. Like the glo worm, it offers a soft light and sounds all controlled from the back. What’s new is this otter offers a tummy that moves up and down to mimic breathing. It also has some womb and heartbeat sounds. I really wonder if my baby will like it better once she is a bit older. My older children (6,3) think it’s fun and like to use it. Overall, it’s a cute toy even if it doesn’t help my newborn sleep. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got this toy for my newborn as a soothie for her when she is sleeping, thinking the motion and sounds might help. I didn't even get a chance to use it for her because my 2yo feel in love with it. She loves sleeping with it and tucks it under her blankets. The design is really sweet and cute looking and I love that you can wash it! However they only drawback is that it is easy access to the control panel in the back for my 2 yo. This wouldn't be a problem for a much younger baby though. Overall we really enjoy this toy in our house, and maybe when they newborn gets bigger she'll actually get to play with it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Our daughter has a hard time sleeping through the night. I thought the Soothe n Snuggle Otter would be comforting to her, maybe even getting her to stay in bed through the night. I was not disappointed! Her Otter is soft and cuddly, unlike some soothers, and she finds the “breathing” comforting. The only thing she did not like was that the arms weren’t able to hug her back. She was very frustrated with that fact and ended up pulling them apart.I would recommend the Soothe n Snuggle Otter to parents, our special needs child absolutely loves it. Three thumbs up!!! Very soft on arms and legs but would love to see the battery pack a little smalle. Love that there are options for the light, breathing motion, music, variety sound button including fan white noise breathing and heartbeat noises and also a volume up and down option. The the light isnt to bright and the breathing motion is very calming. I think this is a great plush for newborn - toddler. I know due to the batteries asking for longer time for the breathing and music to play is a bit much but parents with newborns may not want to keep pushing the tummy to restart it. I love the look of the otter, and the glowing light in the tummy is the perfect soothing shade. Size is pretty great as well, not too big, not too small. The sounds also provide a nice transition at nighttime or nap times, a mix of lullaby and a sort of snoring white noise. My only issue, while the fur of the otter is extremely soft, the mechanics that help it make the sounds and light inside is a large box that unfortunately is awkward to snuggle. This otter was bigger than I thought it was going to be. We placed it next to my baby when putting her to sleep and it instantly soothed her and put her to sleep. We have been trying to get her to sleep in her cradle all night and this has helped with that. I like that I can change the sounds and volume on it. The soothe 'n snuggle otter is super adorable I love that it's tummy moves up and down. All my children absolutely love it my daughter carries it around and treats it like a baby. It's very soothing to my baby the soft melody and the light up tummy work wonderfully. I love the colors and the softness. I am in love with this little otter and so are my little ones. A well-made comforter with cute design that my little boy seems to absolutely adore. I've used similar products before with my oldest but feel that the breathing movement enables baby to feel like he is lying next to someone, creating a longer, deeper sleep. There is no need to set up, it is easy to use and there are choices in the sounds you want. Very relaxing and soothing. I highly recommend this and think it is better than some of the other leading products.

We thought this Soothe 'n Snuggle Otter was such a great concept. It has more options than many other products, like different songs, the rising belly effect, the soft glow and the soothing heartbeat and breathing effects. Our 3 week old son responded very well to the music, but he responded the best to how gentle the melodies are and the fact that we can control volume was a big bonus. Well made little sleep soother suitable from birth. Good when baby is calm /drowsy or wakes during a sleep time. Sorry, does not drown out the hysterical sleep protest!! Controls easy to use- nice variety in sounds & volume settings. 30mins sound & light time and then goes off. Have been told that it becomes a favourite toy for years to come for sounds & breathing movements so nice gift that will grow with the child. Recommended.

This is breeze for anyone looking for an alternative for a baby’s cot toy. It has a breathable real feel movement in the belly and if you would leave it next to the baby, it will reassure him of someone with him. It’s a handy soft toy to play with too as it’s huggable and extremely soft to touch. I’d recommend it as I haven’t had a day when we haven’t used it for first 3 months with a newborn.

This product came perfect for my newborn. Since my 2 week old daughter is still too young to reach and grab toys, I found this cute animal that plays lullabies. The noise keeps my daughter calm and if I hold it against her body she enjoys the stomach “breathing” movement that it makes. I’m sure it’ll be a great toy for her for a good while.
