I'm really disappointed with this grater considering the good reviews it has received. I wanted something entirely made of metal rather than half metal and half plastic. However, my experience has been bad and if I take any more skin off my knuckles it'll go in the bin. It's very sharp but not smooth. It grabs at the food you're grating and holds onto it until you press a bit harder and bingo, you've taken skin off your fingers.
