What can you get for a 13 year old interested in science... that will last and isn't made of plastic? This is the real deal.Boiler is the size of two fists (larger than I expected, judging by the pic). All metal. Oozes German build quality.More than we'd have liked to have spent (220 euros delivered) but heck, he'll be playing with this when I'm a grandfather.You'll need to buy the fuel tablets in bulk (we bought 10 boxes for 25 euros... well under half the delivered amazon price) but these should last a while.Boy is overwhelmingly delighted and fires her up every day. If he weren't I'd have had it myself!

Bought for my little boy . We just LOVE it . Great build quality and hours of fun , but definitely adult supervision required at all times . The wiring for the light was a bit fiddly but that's the only complaint

bought this for a christmas present could not wait til xmas to see it in working order.then on xmas day seen product working absolutely fantastic well made happy with it.
