I have very dry, sensitive skin as well as keratosis pilaris. I am also very sensitive to chemicals & smells, many trigger migraines &/or my asthma.I tried this lotion based on the reviews as I was desperate to find something to help my long-neglected & sad, sorry, dry, under active thyroid, skin.At first I found the fragrance too strong & didn't find the lotion moisturising enough, however I removed the top (you can do this by twisting & pulling it off from about 1cm just under the lid area). I added a few drops of my own peach kernel, safflower & pumpkin seed carrier oils & after replacing the top & lid I gave the bottle a good shake.

Having really sensitive skin I was a bit hesitant to buying this product, however I started using the Weleda skin food cream for my face and that saved my wintery dry skin so I was eager to buy this lotion and help the rest of my body too. I’ve been using this lotion for my body for a few weeks now and it’s been a dream. My skin is so so dry especially in the winter and this lotion has really sorted me out. I also suffer from eczema and this cream doesn’t bother it at all, it soothes it instead. The only thing I’m not too keen on is the smell but that’s just me, it smells a lot like marzipan which I’m not a fan of but the scent doesn’t last long. Very happy with this lotion.

I love the smell of this product. Good for men and women. I also appreciate that is is chemical free and, being from Weleda, it is also bio dynamic. This means it is organic, but even better than that, as the plants used to make it were grown with the phase of the moon, and magical processes added to the soil and even harvested at phase of the moon that ensure the plant is at its optimal. Biodynamic is even better than organic. It is the best you can buy for yourself.The one thing I would like to change though, is the packaging. I would like it to be in a glass jar, as I am trying to avoid buying any more products in plastic.

My mother has been a frequent user of Weleda as she likes the more natural products. Having dry skin conditions, I've found this lotion to be very helpful by not only moisturising my skin and leaving it feeling soft and hydrated, but it also has a nice smell to it. Having this condition I usually have to moisturise multiple times a day, however the Weleda lotion keeps my skin hydrated for longer so that I don't have to reapply as often. All in all a great product, have already reordered and will stick to it. Only bad side is the high price but I've known that ever since we started using Weleda. Would definitely recommend.

Really like this. I wasn't sure what Sea Buckthorn would smell like. Not helped by the description alongside it of being a 'fruity fragrance' which could mean anything. Imagined it would be more like eucalyptus, tea tree etc. - don't know why, something about the name! In fact, it smells a bit like tangerines, quite citrusy - very nice light, fresh smell. The lotion itself has a good texture and sinks into the skin on contact, leaving it feeling soft but non-greasy. The only downside is it's quite pricey for a body lotion but I suppose this is to be expected given the ingredients. I would certainly buy this again.

this is the loveliest of lotions. i sometimes use it on my face because the smell is exquisite, but I'm always a little disappointed it doesn't feel quite so moisturising but its not really a face cream, and as says, is a lotion (that absorbs or evaporates fast!) . it does leave a smooth finish and even if you just want to smell roses, its awesome on this front. i have it in the bathroom after washing hands and it feels luxuriant and pampering as the name suggests and leaves my hands smooth with no oily residue. i really do love this product, thanks weleda

This is handsdown become my favourite body lotion and I’ll probably never use another one. I’ve tried many many different ones trying to find the right formula for my skin and think this is the one. It’s not too thick so actually absorbs. Non-greasy but leaves your skin silky to the touch and glowing. I love the smell. I can only liken it to a sort of orange-y smell with a twist. The pump doesn’t clog and gives the right quantity/dose for each limb. Anyway, no complaints, big win for me.

This product is simply incredible. I apply it all over my body and on my feet. I noticed that it keeps my skin feeling soft and has helped remove the hard skin on the soles of my feet. It has a a nice fresh fragrance which is not too overpowering. It is great to use on stretch marks and the bottle lasts for a very long time. I only just recently purchased another bottle after my first one had finished.

Just the job for using on dry skin without leaving blobs of grease on underclothes and fabric. I bought some for my sister who wept when she had a plaster removed from a broken arm and had large patches of dry skin dangling from it. TheWeleda wild rose lotion worked well for her, so I bought some too for a body lotion. The smell is natural and lingers without being sickly.

A friend who lives in Germany brought this for me as a gift and I just love using it. Genuinely softening and soothing of dry skin. It leaves a wonderfully delicate fragrance. I have sensitive skin and this has not irritated my skin. Excellent quality as ever from Weleda.This size lasted a long while. When I tried to re order, it was sadly out of stock.

I am a long time weleda user, I just love this cream that really works in the long time.Nivea would give you soft skin quicker but it's full of chemicals and it doesn't feed your skin deeply.Weleda takes time (depending on the skin, 2 weeks maybe?) but the components are natural, good, it lighten up and soften your skin deeply and healthy.

Love the smell of this body lotion, makes my skin really soft and smooth. It arrived promptly and was well packaged the only is that Amazon added the VAT so the price I saw on Amazon was actually without VAT at around £15 if you add the VAT it gets to £19 which is the normal price sold in shops.

Nice, light body lotion. Not heavily scented. This is my second body lotion from Weleda (I tried Pomegranate before) and neither ever has any bad effects on skin unlike other lotions. I can even use this on my face and I'm fine. Very satisfied, considering trying more from Welleda.

Overall it is a nice cream. Absorbs very quickly, skin stats hydrated from morning shower till the evening. I’ve got normal to dry skin and this cream suits my purpose as an everyday body cream. The smell is a bit intense and has nothing in common with roses. Minus a star for this.

I have been buying this for years, as it is organic and it is so refreshing. It is also my daughter in law's favourite. .my sister was told by her consultants not use anything on her skin that contains parabens so this wonderful organic lotion is the best
