The lotion is slightly more runny compared with the cream and from that point of view does make it easier to spread. Despite the bottle saying there isn't a scent I would argue there is a slight vinegar smell, it takes around 5 minutes to fully absorb and once it does the smell disappears.My partner and I both use this on a daily basis as it offers great moisturising abilities, not only keeping normal skin moist but dramatically helping soften dry skin. It also makes a great base to which I can apply a foundation cream to my face. Being a pump action bottle makes it easier and cleaner to use and this bottle seems to last us around 4 weeks and that's with both of us using it daily.Verdict: if

This is, and will always be, my go-to product for moisturising my skin.I absolutely adore this moisturiser ever since I started using it a few years ago after my first tattoo.I’ve always suffered from sensitive skin, having suffered from acne since a young age and also experiencing extremely dry skin around my shoulders and elbows.This product has alleviated every issue I’ve ever had with my skin. It turns my dry scaly patches back into smooth normal skin and I find the amount that you get for the price is well worth it! It usually lasts me a good few months (although I’ll admit that I don’t use that much of it).Even further, this moisturiser carries little to no scent! Meaning you can use as much (or as little)

I was convinced by my barking mad sister to use 'natural products' or non medicinal ones to treat the dry skin my baby had on her hands and feet when she was a newborn. I tried them for weeks and saw NO improvement. I went to the gp and typical; its 'eczema' they said. Did not believe it, i went and purchase E45, based on my previous experience on my older children. It worked to treat any dryness they had when they were little (10 years ago) so saw this on amazon and bought it. Arrived next day. Applied on my baby for a week and its all cleared up. Like it was never there. Her crinkly skin on her hands and feet are gone, leaving naturally soft skin a baby is supposed to have. Yes,

Firstly let me say I have used the E45 range in the past and swear by it especially in the cold winter months. I was finding my skin to be feeling itchy and dry with the cold spell and even other unperfumed or unfragranced body creams and lotions were not having much effect.This as well as being a big easy to use pump is such great value too. Can be used all over body I have found from face to all over. Dries in quickly and no smell to it. Currently using on face as skin feeling effects of cold weather from being out feeding pets.Ok the bottle isn’t fancy at all basic simple white plastic one but the effects for the price one to buy for sure if suffering from itchy dry skin.

Amazing! I had a phase of really dry skin on and around my nose, which I believe stemmed from using a normal moisturiser on my face for so long, as it was simply not hydrating enough! Having used E45 twice daily on my face, after cleansing and toning, it has alleviated my dry skin, which is incredibly useful during the summer (and when I accidentally sleep in my make-up...oops!). It can feel quite thick, although I slather it on, but it dries well, and I am able to apply primer and foundation on top as normal, without my foundation flaking off around my nose. E45 is the best, I'll never use anything else now! Not to mention it's a great price for how huge the bottle is!

I bought this product on a whim when it was on offer in 2017, I only just realised how fantastic this product was when I only just started considering a replacement (yes nearly 3 years later!). I use it every single day, I shower in the morning so apply it before blow drying my hair, it’s not greasy so allows me to apply makeup after allowing it to settle for 10 minutes or so. I suffer from sensitive skin and occasionally eczema and this product is my first go to. You don’t need to use too much (otherwise it will feel greasy), it also works great with a moisturiser applicator. In the cold weather it also helps to stop your hands feeling dry and sore.

Well i wouldn't have believed it, after all the money i have spent on expensive moisturisers/creams E45 is better than all of them! Money is a little tight this month after splitting with husband and i couldn't afford my usual moisturiser, I decided I would buy a cheaper alternative as this would be better than nothing at all and decided to order E45...It is an excellent moisturiser, only been using it for a few weeks and my skin is lush so soft and hydrated, a really healthy feel and look, it goes on lovely and soaks in well, l am over the moon with results and i am definitely going to stay with E45!! Brilliant...knocked 10 years off my skin ???

Someone else on here claimed that this lotion healed their knuckles. I suffered from the same condition and this product healed my knuckles too! I use this product twice daily on my face, occasionally on my knuckles, arms, feet... Basically, whatever part of my skin seems a little dry and this does the trick! It's not the best moisturiser for the face, though. I have combination skin and find it to be a little too heavy. If it's a hot day, I tend to sweat it all off - whereas I don't find this happening if I use a moisturiser that's designed both specifically for the face and combination skin. It still works extremely well though!

In a house of 6 people of all different ages, from 2 months to 87 years, E45 is used by us all. This lotion is great for use after a bath or shower to smooth legs, arms, faces, anything really! It tends to be used mainly by myself & my baby Son, it is so gentle on my sensitive skin & his supersoft baby skin that we are able to use it everyday. It has a non-greasy formula so it doesn't leave you with an oily residue on your skin or hands & the moisturiser has a lovely light feeling, not a clammy or sweaty heavy feeling that is sometimes present with others. E45 seems expensive but it lasts for so long that is definitely worth it!

Very decent for the price. Not the most moisturising lotion I've ever tried but for the price it does a great job and keeping my body well moisturised and not like scaly crocodile skin and I would repurchase it.If you are looking for more of a pampered or indulgent feeling experience then this is not for you, but E45 isn't selling that experience, nor does it claim to. It's selling a bog standard moisturiser that does the job with zero fuss.The scent is fairly plain with a hint of chemicals to it so if you are funny about scents then you may not like this.Overall this product is cheap and cheerful :)

Was initially recommended E45 by my GP for dry skin, and since then it's been amazing.I started using it on my arms as they were very dry, and also sensitive, but have also started using it now on my face post-shave, and it works a treat. It instantly soothes my skin, and stops my face from drying out after shaving (especially around the nose area).Only criticism would be that it does feel quite 'greasy', although I'm not that fussed if it delivers the results; it is also quite potent, but you get used to it. Would also strongly recommend the shower lotion if you have very dry skin.

I have dry skin on the top of my hands around the knuckles and the top of the wrist. In the cold, this means I get painful red lines where the skin's gone raw. Using this stuff for two weeks (once a day, before I went to sleep) has completely healed my skin. It's smooth to the touch and not the rough red mess it used to be.This stuff is amazing. I'd *highly* recommend this if you have dry skin. The only issue I have is I bought it for £4 two weeks ago and now it's gone up to £6. Guess I'll wait before ordering another bottle, but as it's 500ml I expect it'll last me several months.

A little stinging surprised me as other E45 lotions are more gentle. It does help my chapped hands but verdict is out on whether it's the best option out there. Pretty good value though.I prefer my Dove or Simple, as my soap substitute and an oilier cream like Nivea or Doublebase, for moisturising. This is good in that it doesn't feel sticky for long after applying, just a few seconds. However it quickly evaporates away, and you probably need to top up hourly if you want this for serious moisturising as opposed to post washing-up protection.OK, try it?

As far as I'm concerned, E45 is a miracle-worker. I don't use it as a daily moisturiser for my body as I like the scented stuff, but this is second-to-none when it comes to fixing any kind of skin issue. Whether it's dry/flaky skin, rashes (either from allergies, shaving or whatever), sunburn, E45 sorts it out in a snap. I'll apply some of this and the next day the difference is always insane, and after using it for a couple of days, whatever issue I have is gone.My family and I always make sure we've got some stock of this, as it's so handy/effective.

I have recently developed dry, itchy skin on my arms and legs. The itchiness was driving me mad and I felt i had to try something to soothe it. I have about ten moisturisers but they are expensive face creams and the thought of using them on my arms and legs was enough to make me even madder! I remembered using E45 cream on my children when they were younger and thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. It is soothing, it isn't greasy and you don'r have to use very much to get a good result. i may have to ditch my expensive face creams in its favour!
