The aveeno products in general are fairly good, I have used many others including the blue bottle which is the moisturizer which is amazing and so are the hand creams. I struggled to find the moisturizing oil in supermarkets and chemists and I had been recommended it for some real dry skin that i have. The only place I could find it was Amazon and so I purchased but it was slightly more expensive than if sold in stores. I've been using it for a couple of weeks I won't say it's made a huge impact but it is still early days.. so I will continue to use for a further few months. (Oct 2017)An update after further use of over a month and I am beginning to see some difference,

I don’t leave many reviews....but this moisturiser deserves one!! It has completed transformed the skin on the whole of my body (don’t use it on my face). I have gone from having really dry skin, that was starting to age....to having perfectly smooth skin, that looks I’d say 10 years younger. This sounds made-up....but I’m not kidding, it’s incredible. The creamy oil version is way better than the normal Aveeno, and the sweet almond oil gives it a lovely smell too. It absorbs pretty fast, but within 20 mins or so, it’s completely done it’s job and you feel/look amazing! I put quite generously all over my body after shower/bath, and am super soft all day long! I’ve already managed to convert a few friends!

Now that I'm in my mid fifties, I thought I'd try a new cream in the hope of keeping my skin soft and well moisturised. I hate thick gungy creams and sticky oils which feel greasy and take forever to be absorbed- as I just don't have the time to faff about in the mornings. I swim at least 3 times a week an so my skin suffers from the chlorine in the water too.Was really pleased with this product, which I chose after reading other reviews. It smells lovely and a small amount (handy dispenser pump saves wastage) goes quite a long way. Comes out in quite a thick textured blob but covers skin very easily and is absorbed quickly. My skin felt improved immediately- definitely softer and more 'plumped'

I adore this product to such an extent that I have forsaken all of my beloved french pharmacy body lotions and just have a stock of this in my bathroom. The scent is gorgeous, not strong and not chemically, just faint almond - beautiful.The consistency makes it very easy to spread and massage in, covering large areas of skin.It sinks in quickly, so you are able to get dressed very soon after applying. It is not at all sticky.Best of all, this product has an immediate effect, skin feels comfortable, nourished and appearance improves, smoother, firmer, with more elasticity and this lasts for the day. I stock pile as I would hate to run out.I cannot see myself ever switching to another brand now,

Wow what cant I say thats great about this cream. Being a psoriasis sufferer I use this wonderful cream on my scalp and have to say its a god send. Having looked at a lot of reviews from psoriasis suffers and one about this cream im so glad I purchased it. I dont use cocois on my scalp anymore as it just burned, made my scalp red and made my hair become thin. This cream is so gentle and can be washed out easily too. However I do use the Aveeno bodywash to wash it out (and dove conditioner) and it leaves my hair so soft and my scalp clear for a good few days! You dont need a lot just put a little bit each time on to your finger and rub into the affected area.

I usually use Lush Dream Cream although I have found the price creeping up and up over the years, plus I can't get hold of any at the moment due to the store being closed and website down while they understandably make changes in light of the CV crisis.I have sensitive, eczema prone skin particularly on my legs so needed something very gentle. This cream is thick but goes on very smoothly, made my skin feel very soft, and sunk in quickly. I like everything about it apart from the smell. It smells like marzipan (that'll be the almond oil!) which is not a smell I like.So far it has not made my skin angry which is a definite bonus. I will keep using it and see if I can get used to the smell!

I have a really dry skin that sucks up moisturiser like blotting paper. My friend recommended Aveeno to me as it had worked so well taking out the soreness from her psoriasis.I decided to order the creamy oil one as I need quite a substantial cream to make any difference. The first thing I noticed was that it is a little bit oily but this soon disappeared. The scent is very delicate almond and is very pleasant.I am very pleased with this and use it as an all over body moisturiser but it is really good as a hand cream.There are quite a few different varieties of this product and may well try some of the others.

I have been living in the UK for over 6 years now and have developed eczema due to the harsh weather here (dry/cold) and have tried all sorts of mositurising creams with non being able to effectively work from completely taking away the dry/itchiness when my skin dries out too much (bristol hard water). Heard about this and tried it. Love it! the smell is amazing and honestly a little goes a long way. It really feels like my skin is drinking it in when i put it on and have loved using this stuff since. My only con is that I wish they had a bigger bottle. Highly recommend

I used a french dermatology brand body lotion, it was great, fantastic in fact, but it was hard to source and quite expensive. I tried this and had to switch, it's as good, if not better - it smells great, sinks into your skin immediately which means no delay in getting dressed (on a work day every second counts in the morning!). Most importantly though, I've noticed that my 50 year old skin is smooth and not dry at all, even in winter. I cannot see me switching to another product, I'm so happy with the results from this. My only gripe - it should come in a larger size.

Great! I have intermittent eczema flare ups that can get out of hand quickly and drag on for months. When I don’t have flare ups I love using scented moisturises. I have tried all the brands of eczema creams (E45 etc) and despite being unscented and suitable for sensitive skin I find that despite this they still burn. However, this product has a gorgeous scent and does not burn my skin at all - it’s a miracle! Cannot recommend enough, keeps my dry skin under control, soaks in nicely and smells divine so I still feel like I’m treating myself during a flare up.

I kept stealing my gf's bottle so decided I better buy my own! I get really dry patches on my forearms and calves (random I know) and get somewhat dry skin in general. I've used the Aveeno lotions before but find them too thick, especially with hairy legs and such. But this 'creamy oil' is really good, nice and light and sorts the dry skin out in no time, especially when coupled with the Aveeno moisturising body wash (the blue capped one for very dry skin). If I go a week or two without using these I definitely suffer for it.Smells alright too. Good product.

I ordered this one by mistake as just wanted to repurchase the original Aveno, but this is amazing! I think the addition of the sweet almond oil makes this even more nourishing on sensitive skin. It has a lovely scent and soaks in immediately. No greasy or oily residue left and never sticky.Also with the current pandemic and over washing of hands / use of antibac and bleach this has helped take away the itchiness of cracked hands immediately and then helps heal hands over maybe a night or two.Will definitely be sticking to this version from now on.

I got this for my husband as he suffers from psoriasis and it's excellent for this. It absorbs well and doesn't leave a greasy residue (which is what he didn't like about other creams he's tried, including creams prescribed by a doctor.) It keeps his skin moisturised for ages & has definitely helped with the itching. He also likes the subtle scent. My sister has also started using it for her psoriasis & she said it's even better then Epsom bath salt stuff. If you can afford the little extra it is definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.

Wow this cream is amazing .My 10 year old son has had eczema since he was born and we have NEVER found a cream that makes his skin soft and itch free .He was going though a very bad patch where he was red , dry and itchy and looked a mess . I ended up using the avenno bath oil and what a difference within 2 uses .I then bought this cream after seeing other people with eczema have success with it .I have now put this on a monthly order it is so good .My son keeps admiring his smooth skin -No flaking in sight !!!

Bought to help with healing of a burn and cellulitis after being told to keep it moisturised and the oats appealed to me to help calm the skin. It was the better of the products I used including aloe vera but made the area warmer so didnt feel suitable for the use intended. I hoped it would help reduce the immense itch but it didnt.It seems nice as a general every day cream though although I dont feel it absorbs quickly and is greasy (probably the oil in it). The smell is lovely and I will still continue to use.
