Let me get this out of the way firstly... I am a 37 year old guy who knows nothing about different types of brands of moisturisers.I purchased thos on a whim after reading thrpugh the reviews.Now onto the reasoning behind the purchase...I had a subtle rash for years that was located at the sides of my nose, a little on my nose and a little across my forehead. This rash would flare up and look blotchy and sore most days. I used different types of cream, including canesten prescribed by my gp, but for years to no avail would anything truly work properly. Sometimes they would help bring down the irritation and redness and clear up but it would quickly return again between a few days to a week later!

I have very sensitive skin that gets upset when I try new products, but I'd used the hand cream version of this and found it wonderful so decided to try this. I get really dry skin on my arms and, unusually, on my neck. This is great - I am using it on dry patches on my face (which is a miracle given that my skin can be oily at times but this lotion didn't trigger that at all), and on my neck every day. I have used one other moisturiser that is better on the dryness, but the Aveeno beats it hands down in terms of dealing with sensitivity. Usually, my skin reddens as soon as I wash (even just with water) and when I put any lotion on it. It doesn't with this. In fact, the Aveeno seems to calm the redness from washing.

This product is truly amazing!!! My 12 year old daughter suffered from very severe Eczema all over her arms especially in the joints, when it was really bad it looked like she had been badly burnt, she had very dry rough skin which would crack then weep and bleed skin which was extremely painful, she also felt very embarrassed at school and it would keep her awake as she would constantly scratch at nighttime. We went back and fore to the doctor's and was prescribed various creams, oral medicines and steroid cream, which was no help.On a resent trip to the doctor's we were seen by a different doctor who said that perhaps my daughter was having a reaction to the lanolin in the creams and maybe that was making it worst and prescribed Aveeno to try,

I have suffered with eczema throughout my life and I am 21 now so I've tried lots of different products and I can hoenstly say that none of them have done much. I was then recommended by my doctor to try Aveeno and was told I could buy it in shops everywhere but I was sceptical. However, after just one use I have not looked back. I absolutely swear by it. I use it morning and night or whenever needed and my skin is miles better and noticeably too. I used to get bad dry skin on my face and since Aveeno, my face is never dry.When I get lazy and don't use it for a day or two, I can feel my skin getting dry again - showing how effective it really is. I recommended to my housemate who suffers from dry skin and she can't believe it either.

I'm very hard to please when it comes to body lotions and creams. Yes, I'm a man, but I've used them for years, all over my body and all over the world. Recently a certain company stopped making a lotion I'd been using for about 15 years. Annoying. Why do they do that? It took me a good few months to find one as good - this Aveeno lotion is the one I found.I was after something with no fragrance to it, or only extremely minimal amounts (like the one I used to use), something that wasn't far too expensive, and something not greasy. I looked and looked and could not find anything suitable. I started to despair. My old cream was running out fast.

I have purchased this to calm my dry and irritated face after the usage of Epiduo for acne. This one comes in a generous 200 ml container.First of all, why do I think this might not be suitable for face?- Contains fatty alcohols (coconut derived) that are highly comedogenic - Cetyl, Stearyl and Myristyl Alcohol- Contains Benzyl alcohol - possibly highly irritatingWhile these ingredients are fine for most people, some people with sensitive face skin might find these doing more harm than good to their skin. I have developed closed comedones after using this on my face, so I started using it for my body instead as I have dry skin and I absolutely love it.It is highly moisturising though it does not last 24 hours as it claims.

This is my third time purchasing this and I love it. I use it on my incredibly dry face.I have tried at least 20 different moisturisers, from clinique to eucerin, and none of them work as well as this one.During colder months, my skin becomes red and it feels tight and itchy. Applying moisturiser burns and irritates it more. But not this one! I think the oatmeal (and the lack of scent) really soothes irritation and if you use it consistently, it will get rid of redness and make your skin soft. The consistency is also just right and it absorbs minutes after application.One thing to consider! If you are prone to break outs, make sure to use an exfoliator once a week, because this could clog some pores.

Aveeno was prescribed by my dermatologist, and after 3 years of being prescribed allsorts of stuff by my GP. This is the ONLY thing that has worked and worked within 5 days! My excema completely gone, and Aveeno leaves my skin feeling lovely and smooth. I use the Aveeno body wash in the shower, then a light covering of the moisurising lotion afterwards, and I will never use another product again. Once you find something that ACTUALLY works, why would you change it?I have the larger pump bottles for home, but wanted something smal enough to keep in my locker at work, so that I have it with me at all times, for hands.I cant give this a higher rating than 5* ...pity.It is not perfumed,

Having suffered with chronic ecsema as a child, it has eased up over the years. However I still have "problem" areas where the ecsema refuses to go - currently on my hands and even my eyelids. I've tried so many creams and ointments over the years, from E45 to steroid creams - however since being introduced to Aveeno by my mum who is also an ecsema sufferer, we won't use anything else now. Gentle, moisturising, non sticky, it feels calming and soothing as soon as applied and stops any itching. Feels completely natural - no stinging or fake scent, and I now use this as my daily face and body moisturiser. Keep a smaller tube in your handbag, and a big bottle at home, it is definitely a must for any ecsema sufferer,

I have used dozens of creams, ointments, gels, lotions, soaps, etc since a young age due to sufferring from eczema and I wish I had tried this sooner. It absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't leave the skin with an oily or slippery feel. There is virtually no smell to it but what little scent it does have smells very nice, unlike other creams that smell like chemicals this actually smells quite natural. Once used in the morning, I can still feel the skin well moisturised several hours after application, it actually does do what it says. I do need to re-apply more onto areas that dry out (but that is due to severe eczema) and I see myself needing to use less of this cream than others.Five stars!

I like good quality creams as I have dry hands, but don't have eczema or psoriasis, so my review is really based on preference. The lotion has a thick, yet light consistency and silky texture- all pluses. It moisturizes just fine. But that's it. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling at all, which is good, but doesn't also leave me feeling conditioned either. It's just 'fine'. Reminds me of glycerine heavy products which tend to leave me with that same feeling.I like Aveeno products, but prefer the colloidal lotion or the oatmeal varieties, which for me have more oompth than the daily moisturising loiton. For the price, it's ok on a deal; and if you like no-frills-does-the-job lotion, this will do it.

Love this! I had very dry skin on my face and my makeup was always cracking, been using nivea cream for as long as I can remember every morning and night and it just hasn't been cutting it lately! For the price this is an absolute bargain leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day make up stays on all day and doesn't crack or go into fine wrinkles. For the price I think this is absolutely great. Theres no real smell to it which is preferable for sensitive skin. It can leave your skin feeling like there's something on it but it doesn't feel sticky or anything it's just your aware theres moisturiser there. Overall great product definitely my new favourite

This is literally the only thing out of numerous failed attempts that has managed to get the eczema on my boyfriend's hands under control, and I include prescription steroid cream on that list. When his eczema was particularly bad, I remembered a thing I'd read about oatmeal being good for eczema, so after a few evenings with his hands dunked in oaty water and getting rather cross with the inconvenience, we went searching online again and found this. Over a year later, using it daily along with the shampoo and shower gel (to protect his hands from the things that irritate them), he hardly has any sign of the eczema!

I was at the point of needing to take my son to the doctors for steroid cream for his eczema when I found this. It's been a massive help and we've managed without the need for steroid cream thanks to this!He had eczema patches he was scratching until they were bleeding. I use this twice a day and it's enough to stop the scratching which is amazing!It's not greasy, goes on well and sinks in nicely. I imagine if I applied this once or twice a day more his eczema would appear gone.No more angry red itchy patches of skin!So much cheaper buying from amazon than in the shops as well. Great value for money!

I bought this as I have the skin complaint Psoriasis which has recently worsened on my scalp and body, spreading and itching very badly. I tried the Aveeno bath and shower oil first and noticed an improvement after having a good soak in the bath. I now use the lotion and other Aveeno products, my skin is less angry and itchy, I use the products every day and apply the lotion twice a week to my scalp overnight, it washes out more easily than stuff I have used before and there is a marked improvement both on my scalp and my body. It is worth giving a try if you have skin problems.
