My partner had been using the older version of this for just over a year now (the B250-XT) and this is fairly similar in performance with some capability improvements so was a good direct comparison. It's just as well made as the previous edition and that has held up incredibly well being used in construction settings and being kept mostly in a very busy family vehicle, so it's certainly very durable and well made, and this one has the benefit of being a bit thicker/chunkier so should last even better. The increase in size and thickness also makes it more comfortable to wear, too - great for when you have to wear it for longer periods which it can be used for if just on talk time for up to 24hours before needing to be charged for a few hours again. As with the previous model this is incredibly good when taking calls as the 96% noise cancellation can't be much out from that at all as you can hear everything loud and clear in your ear, regardless of whats going on around you in the distance - great for busy and noisy journeys and for when hes working on site with a lot of noise etc around him and the dual connectivity and customization button also make this great for work depending on your needs. The range is again very good as before but now with up to 300 feet roaming capability from your paired device, which is pretty impressive and absolutely perfect for when he wants to leave his phone somewhere a bit safer at work whilst in scenarios that represent high risk of items being damaged or it being unsuitable/dangerous to carry any items and the voice control/touch-free capability again make this the perfect headset for working on site and staying safe. You won't get the full range unless you're just literally in a wide open space that your device is also in, but based on it's connectivity and performance in smaller built up spaces it's power in terms of range and connectivity is very strong.Sound quality is brilliant and clear with calls which is what this is really designed for, so I wasn't overly surprised when I paired it with my phone and listened to music that it certainly doesn't hold up against devices more dedicated/designed for listening to music with, but at lower and mid level it still sounds fine if you like to use your headset for that too from time to time.If your previous/earlier model is getting a bit tatty or you just like to have the the latest version of things then definitely get this, you won't be disappointed. And if you haven't used a Jabra headset similar to this before but have been recommended to try one or have wanted to experience the brand then this is a great and affordable option. We have a Jabra speaker and also a Jabra Bluetooth conference hub as well as the previous headset this one has replaced and they've all performed perfectly over the years in their dedicated roles with great sound quality, super durability and excellent ease of use to be very user friendly to have around either at home, work or both my friend who is a courier has had the older model for even longer - 2 years+, and uses it literally every single day and has never had a single problem with it, so this should last!

This is a very comprehensive bluetooth headset kit from BlueParrot, but it is also comprehensively overpriced. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with it, everything is of good quality, but when you look at what else is on the market, it's extremely difficult to see where the extra value is in it.The kit all comes nicely packaged and well presented. Not only do you get the headset, with over-ear attachments, you also get an over-the-head set-up, earpieces, charging cable, ear pads, etc. Setting it up is all very simple and pairing is easy on android and iOS devices. This can either be done by Bluetooth or NFC. You can pair a total of 8 devices and 2 simultaneously, which is certainly useful if it were a shared device of some sort. You have the option of using it with the overhead support/mount, either left or right sided, but personally I didn't find it to be that comfortable. It's best used with the over-the-ear clip. You do need to bear in mind that this is buy no means a small Bluetooth headset. In fact, you may say it's massive compared by today's standards. It does state that it's "high performance made compact"?You have 3 types of control options for using it: using the buttons on the device itself (push-to-talk), using is via voice control or via your phone (with or without the BlueParrot App). If you really need to use the device while driving, then voice control is the only real option. Controlling through the phone is easy, but the App is far from the best. You only really need this if you want to customise some of the features. If you want to keep your devices software up-to-date, then you need to download a small piece of software to you laptop/pc.Sound quality and sound levels are both good, but I wouldn't say they are particularly better than others on the market, although the noise cancelling worked quite well. Battery life is good at pretty close to 10-hours of talk-time, but streaming music seems to eat up more battery. Recharge time is pretty good at only 2 hours from fully drained. Range is excellent, but I've not tested up to the stated 300 feet, but 100+ and it's good. This is certainly a feature packed, high spec piece of equipment, that includes a walkie-talkie function (with App). There's also great range and battery life. This is more suited to the "professional" user, rather than "joe public", partly due to it's price tag. If you're a business user, then this offers quality and features not necessarily found on cheaper models. At £120+ though??I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful. If so, would you kindly hit the "helpful" button. Many thanks.

The headset is packaged in a glossy cardboard box covered with information about the product. The headset is held securely inside a cardboard form which is all recyclable. The only plastic packaging is the small bags that cover the spare foam covers; USB cable and car socket. The headset is quite sturdy with a headband length of 12" (35cm) that can be extended by 1 1/2" (3.8cm) for a more comfortable fit. The leatherette ear cover can be overcovered with a foam sleeve which is better when you are wearing the headset for long periods of time as the leatherette one makes you sweat a bit. There is only one hear peice, the other side is a solid bar that sits snuggly on the other side of the head to hold it in place. The microphone can be pulled down so that the ear piece can be placed over left or right ear. There is also a spare sponge cover for the microphone.LED light on the On/Off button is red when charging and turns blue when fully charged, the charge lasts over 24 hours. The headset can be paired with up to 8 phones but you can only 2 can be connected at one time. Voice commands can be given to answer or ignore calls you can also leave memo messages; stream music and GPS directions. There is a 300 foot wireless range and a programmable Parrot button that can be configured with free 'Blueparrot' app (Android/IOS).This is a great piece of kit and really does haver noice cancelling capabilities. You can talk and hear easily even on the noisiest roads. The battery lasts really well and can be recharged in the car or via laptop or USB socket. The voice commands when you first turn on the headset are clear and easy to follow. Pairing with my mobile took only a few seconds, all i had to do was hold it close to the headset and it was done. The only isue i have is that the earphone is still on the small side and cups the ear tightly which can get uncomfortable when using for long periods of time. But other than that I love this headset. It is a bit on the pricey side but the quality is worth it.

A well made headset, with twin bluetooth compatibility. I connected on my phone and my macbook simultaneously.• How does it compare to the original headset? This one has a longer range of 100 metres, basic voice controls and better dust and moisture protection. It upto 24 hours talk time and 500 hours of standby time, when fully charged. To fully charge it'll take about 3 to 4 hours. The noise cancelling feature does block most of the ambient sounds so that I can hear and be heard clearly. There is the option of using a foam earpiece if you don't like the leatherette version.I can also stream music and have my GPS directions through them, which i found convenient when I'm on the road.It connects very quickly to both iPhone and android. You can answer and reject calls using the 'Voice Control' which I found worked well. The sound quality is treble-heavy, so music isn't as well balanced if you choose to listen through this headset. The parrot button too can be customised with one of four available options:• Mute and Unmute Mic• Speed dial the selected number from your address book.• PushToTalk compatible with a partner app• Launch to launch the selected appIt offers a degree of dust and "moisture" protection - though I wouldn't take it out in a storm. It has a wireless range of 100 metres but this is only if you have a clear pathway. It doesn't stretch that for for me. It starts becoming increasingly static and then quiet at around the 4 'walls' capacity about 40 metres. It is a definite improvement on the version it superseded and it feels more comfortable with a wider headset and a more comfortable earpiece. It does need a periodic software update, using the provided USB cable.I do feel let down by the limited distance range I got as it wasnt close enough to 100 metres.4 stars.

Some people may initially look at the price and baulk, but bear with me. Not only does this look like a premium piece of kit but it actually does deliver performance wise. With a bunch of features that you will actually want to use, this is a headset that finally meets the demands of the modern day.If you are looking into buying this mainly for its noise cancelling features then that alone would be worth the price; it is fantastic in loud busy places, you can hear and be heard clearly, no more shouting or asking/being asked to repeat what's been said. However the bells and whistles are pretty impressive too. I can vouch for the 10 hours of talk time promised from just a 3 hour charge via USB and the battery indicators are accurate. It pairs with your phone quickly with an impressive 100m of wireless range, which is far more than most will need. You can stream from your music provider or use a map service for directions straight to your ear. By downloading the Blue Parrott app you can customise the buttons for speed dial, mute, opening an app on your paired device, setting up conference calls.. it really is excellent. It is comfortable to wear all day, in fact I soon forgot I was wearing it. It is strong and sturdy despite being quite lightweight and comes with lots of choices of how to wear it so you can find what's best for you. Perhaps it's not surprising that it is water resistant but it is also dust resistant so it's perfect for people using it outdoors all day even in environments such as worksites. Great walking down city streets, but be aware when crossing roads! This headset allows you to take control of your environment rather than letting the environment control you - highly recommended.

The price is a bit of an ouch (£123 at present) but you do a get a superb pro headset. It comes with accessories to let you choose between on-ear left/right, behind the neck left/right and over the head, along with a choice of earbud sizes.I tried all the options and found it acceptably comfortable with any of them. I don’t need to wear it all day and haven’t attempted to, but would probably go for behind the neck, if I did. It isn’t excessively heavy but I’d probably want a rest from it every couple of hours. The battery is easily up to all-day use but if you run out of charge you can plug it in to a USB port and carry on using it while it charges.Audio performance is first-class and I’ll beusing mine in my home office when making or receiving calls on my landline and mobile (it can be paired with two phones at once). And noise cancelling? That’s not something I normally need but I’ve tried it by a noisy road and am told it works well. It doesn’t cut out all background noise (and doesn’t claim to) but does make it easy to understand what I’m saying.Operation is straightforward and I really like being able to accept/reject calls by voice – “Answer” or “Ignore”. There are other voice commends too, the most useful of which are perhaps “Am I connected?” and “Check battery”. You can also use voice to activate voice functions on your phone. There’s more, much more, but I hope I’ve given you a flavour of the ease of use and versatility of this headset. I love it and feel it’s worth the money for anyone who’ll make extensive use of it.

The C400-XT from BlueParrott combines a really nice set of features with great sound quality. Set up was very straightforward. The NCR one-touch with my iPhone XR just would not happen, but manual pairing took about 3 seconds and worked like a dream. In use, the sound quality is superb, it is amongst the very best headsets I have tried. The noise cancelling works very well. The buttons, usually an afterthought on bluetooth headsets, are well laid out and intuitive, particularly in relation to volume control, which is the thing I need the most.Particularly welcome are the voice commands which work nicely (making this really good for travelling and commuting)for accepting and declining calls and also for adjusting call volume.Given the price point I am surprised at just how uncomfortable the default headset is to wear for even the shortest amount of time. The part that holds onto the other side of your head presses into you above the ear and is made of hard, sharp uncushioned plastic. I just couldn't get comfortable with it. Thankfully there is an alternative loop system which goes around the back of your neck and hooks over your ears (it's way more comfortable than that sounds) and this keeps the earpad pressed well against your listening ear without the pressure. Both headset styles are cheap plastic though, which is a surprise given the price, and these do let down an otherwise lovely product. I did find however that the neck loop was both comfortable and effective.Overall a great product that provides top quality call features.

Though a Jabra subsidiary company, they aren't exclusively Jabra. BlueParrott is made for different purposes and these headphones shouldn't really be viewed as a consumer home audio solution. They're made for work/office use; the original aim of these was a car hands free, however I think the double-can setup and noise blocking would be a bit dangerous for driving (other models are available with only one can) so these are ideal if you work from a laptop or computer, need to make calls, but also want some privacy. The effort in the technology has gone in to the NFC (Near field communication) and overall connectivity - i've tested these and it seems true, your calls won't drop if you walk from room to room or enter a place with a weaker signal. These work particularly well with Skype, as I find it frustrating having to Skype through my laptop speakers and having all my housemates hear the conversation. The other models seem to have less emphasis on the sound quality of the headphones in terms of music, as this isn't really what they're intended for , but this model had added 'HiFI STEREO' which is pretty decent. It means you can switch and listen to some music whilst also doing work, then easily take a call - it's not the most amazing sound quality i've ever heard (bearing in mind I'm used to pro audio headphones and I am a music audiophile snob) but it's damn near good enough. Overall I would say these headphones have mastered everthing they intended to - audio quality, connectivity, and noise blocking.

Bought and used now for a week. I tend to make & receive a lot of business calls and I’ve tried quite a few headsets around £80-£100, they all promise great call quality and background noise suppression., but none have delivered on the claims. After my last headset stopped working after a year, I researched quite a bit and decided on the 450-xt. Below are the pros & cons in my opinion:Pros:Brilliant battery life, with 3-4 hours talk time a day, I’m recharging the end of every 3rd day.Call volume - I can adjust the headset volume to 80% and I can hear every word, even in noisy environments - 100% actually hurts my ear.Noise suppression - absolutely amazing, Jabra quote 96% noise suppression and I now believe it.Nothing else I’ve tried comes close to this. I even tried it in the car at 70mph with the window down, the other person couldn’t hear the wind noise. In every test I’ve done, I can be heard clearly and with no background noise to speak of. Quite simply the best I’ve tried.Comes with both a leather type ear pad and a foam one - the foam one is more comfortable for longer calls. Spare are easily available.Good build quality - doesn’t look or feel cheap.ConsThe headset is big and relatively heavy. This is not something that’s discreet and can be used walking down the street, not unless you don’t mind people taking a second look.Blue light flashes every few seconds on the control panel, when the unit is on.

Since working from home on a permanent basis due to the Corona Virus, this head set has become my best freind. The best feature is the range which maintains a crystal clear transmission even when my linked devices are upstairs. I have linked the headset to my smart phones, because I usually get a call, when I go make a drink or something to eat etc. I suppose, I could have just picked up my phones but now I dont have to as I can answer calls using the headset and wander around the house with the device attached to my head. The device is easy to setup and I recommend using the App to do it. Curiously, the mic is longer than modern Blue-tooth mics that just clip onto your ear,but for conference calls you get a better vocal pick up and less enviroment noise. You can also wear the headset around the back or your neck which is my preference or over the head in a more traditional manner. The best option for this device is that you can connect 2 phones, so I have both my personal phone that my business contractors tend to call me on and my department cell phone that my colleagues call me on. Again using the app makes this pretty straight forward to do. I have also used the device to go for a run as you can use the headset to listen to media. All in all an excellent device with really great features and innovations. The only downside is that the headset is quite chunky, but this just adds to the overall sturdiness of the headset.

In the box re the headset, three fittings (over the head, neck-left and neck-right), a USB cable for charging, a car USB charger and spare ear cover and microphone cover. The headset can be charged from any USB charger.I tried all the fittings but really didn’t like the neck fittings and so chose the headband fitting. The headset is quite large, but much lighter than I anticipated and, at first, I didn’t think it would stay in place, but it does. It takes a little while to get the microphone into the correct position, but then it’s fineBluetooth pairing is quick and easy, I used NFC and it was instant. The headset is big by today's standards and it’s not something I’d use when out and about, but it’s fine for workplace, or in the office. I’ve been using it in my home office, which is where it will stay.I can work at my computer, with the headset connected to my mobile, and take calls as I work. Having a “free” ear is very useful for keeping track of what’s going on around you. Voice activated answer/reject is a very useful function.Sound quality is good, but not exceptional, but the noise cancellation works very well. What I liked was how quickly I forgot I was wearing it and just got on with my work.I tried to connect to the Blueparrott website but was greeted by an error message. This isn’t the perfect headset for office use, but it’s as good as many and better than most.

I'm using this in a busy open plan office to join calls on Microsoft Teams, and Windows recognised it as soon as I paired the bluetooth, no changing of settings needed. Teams calls sounded ok, and whilst the wireless connection makes for a much tidier desk, I do miss the convenience of having a physical button to mute the microphone. Instead, to mute the mic, I have to click on the mute within Teams.Sound quality is not bad, but do suffer from having just having one ear, so noises from the surroundings do can be more distracting compared to a headset that covers both ears. The microphone on a boom is the best feature of this headset, and do help with picking up your voice and avoid picking up noise around you, this is most apparent when compared to generic music Bluetooth headphones that happens to have built in microphones which are terrible for picking up every bit of surrounding noise - don't be that person, use a dedicated headset like this or any number of others available.I find the headband to be a bit tight for use on long calls, an hour is absolute maximum, and I can't wait to take it off as soon as a call is finished.Pairing to Windows 10 was as straight forward as holding the on off button and telling Windows to scan for a new device. Once paired, switching the headset on automatically sets it to default sound device, no messing around.

Jabra New BlueParrott B350-XTThe product. This is a high quality mono headset and microphone designed for broadcasting, serious voice recording and monitoring plus online use like Skype.Build quality. This is beyond reproach, everything is well designed and made using the best materials. The headphone has noise cancelling and volume up and down controls.Fit.It takes a bit of getting used to just having one ear covered and receiving sound. However, once you get used to it there are no problems. The headband is adjustable and very comfortable once you have got the adjustment right.Sound.The sound quality received through the earphone is amazing, very clear and no background noise due to the noise cancelling feature. The clarity of the microphone is also superb and makes the unit ideal for recording audio. I sometimes record small passages for my mother who is having sight problems. She likes me to read and record the local news from the paper. This microphone is very good and the clarity very good.Overall.A headset for specialised use. It is very good for Skype and recording sound to a file. The build is superb and the unit will last for ages. It is on the expensive aside but you get the best for your money.

Just received this Bluetooth headset and it works far better than I expected. It easily synced to my Android phone and I was using it in hardly any time at all. Blueparrot also offers a free Android app to help with connecting or any other issues one might experience. This headset has quite a number of features, but the noise cancellation feature, in particular, works well. I was speaking to my partner from a moving vehicle and they couldn’t hear any background noise or hiss. Very impressive. The headset itself has multiple methods of being worn. It includes a couple of behind-the-neck mounts, both left and right, as well as an over-the-head mount with two types of cushioned earpiece.I opted for the over-the-head mount with leatherette pad. I found this setup very comfortable and stable. In the box was also quite a number of different silicone ear fittings, I’m sure just about anyone could find something comfortable. The set also includes a USB charging/connecting cable as well as a mini cigarette lighter charger.I’m very impressed with this little device and have elected to give it five stars. It’s unobtrusive, comfortable and feels built to last. I’m sure I’ll get many years of use from it.

This headset is amazing! The build quality is superb and it is extremely comfy to wear, fitting perfect on my ear with the soft leather-like cushion. It's also a lot smaller than expected; quite surprising, considering the lengthy talk time.Initial connection to bluetooth was straight-forward, however I struggled to begin with to get the microphone to work. After some research online, it seemed that it needed a firmware update (see photo for details) as there was a known issue with it dropping-out.Following the firmware update, which has to be done via a pc program, the microphone works perfectly.Unfortunately, I've had to drop one star due to the "hello blueparrot" function not working.Despite every effort and searching online as well as changing settings via the phone and pc apps, I cannot get the function to work. I've had to set it to work via the blueparrot button instead. I'll very likely not use this function anyway, particularly as you can use the phone's own voice assistant via the multi-function button.Overall, if you don't mind not having the voice-detection function working and have access to a pc to do the update, this is a fantastic headset to buy.
