I have the MS (Lync) Stereo version of this headset, and I'm very pleased with it.THE GOODThe sound quality is excellent. In particular, when I'm talking I don't hear my own voice played back through the headset - and that alone is a vast improvement on the wired Microsoft headset I've been using up until now.The battery lasts very well. I use the headset a few hours a day and charge it every few days and haven't had it run low. It's really comfortable. The ear pads are smaller than they seem from the images but they sit very comfortably on the ears. The bridge between them isn't padded, but it's kind of rubberised and I don't think that padding would make any real difference. The range is good.I have tried my laptop's internal Bluetooth and the supplied dedicated dongle and I get better range from the dongle. With the dongle I can just about break the connection by going to the very far end of a large house, and internal Bluetooth stands up to a couple of interior walls but the quality falls off quickly. I strongly recommend using the dongle. It handles connection to multiple devices well. It was easy to connect to both my phone and PC simultaneously.THE BADIt's a headset, not a pair of headphones. The sound is very good, but it's not intended for audiophiles listening to music. If you're buying this for voice calls and a bit of music/film then you'll be really pleased, but it just isn't tuned for music. The microphone boom flips up and is held against the head band with a magnet, which would be nice if it worked. The magnet is weak and the ear pads are designed to swivel relative to the band, which means that the mic and the band will only be properly aligned if you have a strange shaped head. That being said, the boom stays up perfectly well without the magnet - it just pokes out a little bit. It's not cheap. I use Lync on average about an hour a day so over a couple of years the cost of this is nothing to me compared to the convenience of good call quality and being able to walk away from my computer during a call. But the fact remains this is an expensive headset and if I expected to use it only occasionally then I would have bought something cheaper. The headset saves power by switching fully on only when there is sound to output. That means that when you start playing sound then there is a short lag (about 1-2 seconds) before the headset wakes up and starts playing audio. That's annoying when e.g. starting to watch a short YouTube clip - you begin to play the video and all is silent, then a couple of seconds in the audio switches on and you end up rewinding to hear what you missed at the start. It's not a big deal and not really what the headset was intended for, but it bugs me a little.

To try to make it useful, I'm writing this after a few weeks of heavy use.I spent a long time looking before finally splashing out. Overall, I'm pleased with my choice, these are very good, with only a few very minor complaints.I tried and failed to associate the headset with my laptop's built-in BlueTooth; in the end I had to use the Jabra BlueTooth dongle supplied with the headset. This is a little annoying, as it sticks out; so I have to remove/re-insert it when travelling. Build quality is, I think, better than the pictures might suggest. Nothing looks overly fragile, and they have held up well.Sound quality (both send and receive) is good: maybe not as high as dedicated (and expensive)music headsets, but good enough for me and anyway that is not their intended primary use. It is clearly well optimised for Lync/Skype, and works well with both. Speech in both directions is very clear, with no extra delays or other artifacts.Battery life is a little better than claimed (but then they are still new). It is easy to start (and stop) charging even while they are in use, provided you use a charger and not a laptop USB port (if you do that while on a call there is a short disconnect while the laptop sound settings are changed).I found the BlueTooth range excellent: I can walk several rooms away and remain connected. I wasn't expecting that, the building is old and WiFi is terribly degraded though the walls.Comfort is better than I expected even though the headband is not padded. I found myself re-adjusting how it sits on my head towards the end of each day during a series of 8-hour meetings, but overall I'm pretty happy with that aspect. Such long meetings are unusual for me, otherwise they would justify spending a lot more. Many mentioned the magnetic microphone store does not work well. This is really nothing: the microphone boom will happily stay in the "up and out of the way" position anyway. The magnet only clamps it to the headband so it looks a tiny bit neater. Anyway, the magnet works on mine.I did install the software from Jabra's website. Its main use is to update the firmware (both BlueTooth dongle and headset). I find I use it to check the battery charge as well, it is quite convenient. The product description mentioned multi-association. I had hoped I could associate the headset with both my laptop and phone. But this is not possible, this was not what the wording meant (careful reading is a good idea!). But changing associations back and forth is tolerably easy if you want to do that.Overall: well worth the money over cheaper headsets, and does the job it was designed for very well.

We have bought these initially for a couple of the staff, but they are so good we bought them for everyone. If you invest in one thing during the covid restrictions, when many of us are working from home, it should be this! The thing that really sold them to us was when my colleague was driving (albeit only 30 or 40 miles an hour) in his convertible, and the customer asked him if he was in the office! The noise cancelling is brilliant, so effective. The main office we have has a very high ceiling and is therefore noisy when lots of people are on the phone. Calling people in the office was awful until we got these, all you could hear was everyone else. Now with the children running around in the background they are just as good at muting that noise too - don't expect them to cancel 100% of noise, but it will reduce it to such a level you can barely hear it at the other end.Our needs for these are largely for calls. We spend a lot of time on conference calls to people across the globe, often to non-native English speakers, so it is super important we can concentrate on what they are saying, and that our speech comes through clearly. We have tried mono versions, and I also have the 85h over-ear headphones and these strike the best balance. Some people have reviewed these saying they are difficult to hear your own voice whilst wearing, but they really are not. The thing is if you have the mono, and anyone else is around you, it can be difficult to concentrate on what the caller is saying, especially if they have a heavy accent and don't have a pair of these to cancel out their own background noise. You can hear the other caller more clearly with the 65s, and because they do not go over the ear they are more comfortable for longer periods. If it is warm over ear cans are sweaty! The over-ear 85h's are so good at cancelling out the noise around you (they have excellent passive and active noise cancelling), but they make it so hard to hear yourself they are best left to when it is more important you hear the person talking than they can hear you (85h is no where near as good at cancelling background noise from your speech thanks to the lack of mic boom). So in short, the 65's are excellent at cancelling background noise from speech, comfortable and strike the best balance for most calls where you being heard, and hearing them is equally important.

First off, this was bought as "Used - Good" with cosmetic package damage for a roughly 20% discounted price. Actual item, not a mark anywhere on the package or item, so literally as-new - bonus! As for the headset itself, I bought a wired Evolve 40 to test before bulk-buying for our office. While excellent, the cable was coiling and getting in the way overthe keyboard so I thought I'd try the Evolve 65 after hesitating based on a few of the reviews. All I can say is, for me, with my setup (a DELL Latitude 5490) the Evolve 65 works flawlessly. Connected via Bluetooth to my laptop the audio is slightly worse that when using the provided dongle, but still acceptable. Range was also excellent on both, allowing me to roam the house with no dropouts. However, I would strongly recommend that you do use the dongle as you get a number of benefits:- It is called "PC" when it connects- It connects faster than regular bluetooth- The audio quality is almost as good as the wired version- There is an indicator LED on the dongle that shows the status (blue for standby, green for in-use, red when on mute)- You get full control of your computer volume and Skype for BusinessThe battery is also excellent. After a charge and 2 or 3 hours of use, it still reports a full battery. The headset itself is lightweight, comfortable to wear for extended periods, and not having to mess about with a cable is, as per the title, liberating. Noise cancelling on the mic, based on the Evolve 40, is also really good at blocking out background chatter. The only thing I'd avoid (and did) is the over-priced stand. It still needs you to line up a micro USB connector. Instead look out for those cables or adapters that make use of magnetic connections for an easy (and reversible) way charge the device without having to fumble around lining things up.Edit: Forgot to add, people have been saying it's hard to gauge how loudly you are speaking when wearing these. Granted, they do have some noise insulating properties but I can't say it has been an issue at all.

I have been using one of these (the "Standard UC/Stereo" version) for several months now and I love it. It spends most of the day paired with both my mobile (via Bluetooth) and with a desktop PC (using the included dongle). I run a generic SIP client (Zoiper) on the PC. Using this headset, I can easily make/answer calls from either phone. Audio quality on both is excellent. The headset is very comfortable to wear. It is a nice size and weight and exerts just the right amount of pressure. The stereo version provides the perfect amount of noise isolation: the worst of the office distractions are kept out but I can still hear enough of my own voice when I am talking that it feels natural (this isa problem with some other stereo headsets I have tried). The included dongle enumerates as an audio device on the PC, which saves an awful lot of faffing about with bluetooth pairing (which can be hit-and-miss under Windows, in my experience). Just plug the dongle in and tell the SIP client to use the audio device that appears. Nice. It would be very easy to walk off and forget the dongle, though. Replacements are available but they are horrifyingly expensive.Battery life is pretty good. When it does run out, you can charge it with the (included) USB cable while using it normally. For use just as Bluetooth headphones (e.g. just for listening to music), the microphone stows above the headband and is held in place magnetically. In truth, one of the few faults I can find is that this magnetic mechanism is a bit on the feeble side and doesn't hold onto the microphone all that well. Its a fairly minor complaint. All in all, I'm very satisfied.PS - There is a similar (and suspiciously similar-looking) Plantronics product available that I have also used for comparison. The Plantronics one has active noise cancellation (which works really well) and is a little bigger but otherwise has a similar feature set. It costs more than twice as much. The Plantronics one is better, but I'm not sure it is twice-the-price better.

A look at the Amazon and Jabra websites for the Evolve 65 headset make it clear that the product is aimed at business users. The idea is that the comfortable headset allows users to make the most of its noise-cancelling capabilities to reduce distractions in noisy office environments whilst still offering good sound quality. The headset is optimised for office use with particular attention to making and taking phone calls but I was a little disappointed to find that it isn't fully set up for use with music, and there aren't buttons to skip tracks etc. Despite the fact that most of these headsets won't see much use for listening to music they are quite good for it.Sound quality did seem to be a little dull when I first tried them, but changing the settings on my MP3 player soon improved that and with minutes I had them performing well. The supplied instructions are pretty poor and I found it to be worthwhile downloading the full guide from the Jabra website. However, that isn't perfect either since despite the headset being labelled as NFC (Near Field Communication) I could find no mention of the facility in the guide and haven't been able to connect through NFC with any other device. Normally this is as simple as touching the two devices together but I couldn't make it work at all. Normal pairing through Bluetooth was simple and worked perfectly every time. The Bluetooth range is good enough for most purposes but for some reason it wasn't as good as I have experienced with some other Bluetooth headphones. There are some shortcomings with the Jabra Evolve 65 but in the office environment that they are designed for they won't be big issues and I think they would be a good choice of headset.

I've only had this headset for about 10 days but I'm already very impressed although it would be fair to say that for the £106 I paid for them I should be.I've tried a number of Bluetooth headsets as I need them for my work on a daily basis, my requreiments are:- Must work with an iPhone (6 at the moment)- Clear audio in both directions (Need to use in noisy environments and in my car, I've decided I need a boom mic therefore)- Reasonable time between charges- Must fit my big head- Comfortable to wearFor the last 9 months or so I've been using the 'AGPTek 2in1 Bluetooth headset with boom mic' and they did work although they weren't particularly comfortable and they lacked high frequency responseso with some people I talked to I was constanly having to ask them to repeat what they'd said due to them sounding indistinct. They were a fraction of the cost of the Jabre Evolve 65s so maybe that's to be expected. The Evolve 65s though are so far faultless, excellent sound quality, very simple to connect and turn on and off. They're comfortable to wear for extended periods and the battery life has so far been impressive. The boom mic is a little short which can lead to the person on the other end getting some heavy breathing but is easy to re-position and can be stowed vertically against the outside of the headset band when not using the mic. The mic though won't stay attached in the stowed position when the headband is opened to anywhere near maximum (which I need). This is a negligable issue though. So far I can heartily recommend this headset for anyone needing to use their phone while working with their hands.

I previously purchased a cheaper style of these (bluetooth, two ears, microphone) and thought I was onto a winner despite them feeling cheap and light. However you get what you pay for and after around 4 months they conked out. The Bluetooth connection was poor, the headphones had problems connecting and the battery wasnt great. My main problem was regarding answering my phone using facetime on the computer. I could not dial out numbers with the headphones and often could not pick-up properly. When looking for a new pair, there was an obvious gulf in the old ones (£30) and these at over £100. However having taken the plunge, I CANNOT believe how terrible the old ones were...and how good these are.First things first, the connection to the computer is via a USB dongle, not direct via bluetooth. This is done easily and connects within seconds of turning the headphones on each time. A huge advantage is that they connect to your phone separately via bluetooth at the same time. This means that if calls come in, you can answer either on your computer or on your phone - massive advantage for someone working at a desk.I use them for all calls including Skype, conference calls and Facetime video and sound quality is great. Each ear has good padding and will flex to your ears - very comfortable. Finally the microphone rotates round to sit infront of your mouth, it is magnetised so when you push it back up it clicks into the headset.Really recommend for anyone who isnt sure about splashing out. The extra cost is well worth it for the bluetooth headset. If you found this helpful, then please click helpful below.

Update for 2018:A colleague who'd been having the same audio issues as me with these said a firmware update in 2018 had fixed them. I dug them out, almost 1½ years after giving up on them and did the update - audio now working perfectly! My only gripe now is they didn't survive falling off my head to the floor. The only mechanical connection from the ear cups to the headband is a thin plastic tube carrying wires through it, which the ear cups swivel around. A small drop caused one ear cup to break off and dangle for a few seconds by the two fine wires momentarily, before they snapped too.My summary would now be: almost perfect, but don't drop them - very fragile design.2016 review:I want to like these headphones,I work from home and do a lot of conference calls over Lync/Skype.Pros: Build quality, comfort and features, particularly dual connectivity with a phone at the same time as a PCCons: Everyone else on the calls says my audio goes robotic or unintelligible every few minutes for about 30 seconds. I'm using an HP Probook 430 G1 laptop running Windows 7, so I accept it could be a driver issue. Given they were £100 I've struggled on with them, tried recording sound with other software and the same thing happens, so it's not Skype or network issues. Updating the firmware has made no difference.Stated 30m range is more like 10m straight line with no obstacles. You can't go to grab a cup of coffee in the kitchen next door whilst on a call, I've tried in three different houses. Not really suitable for the professional homeworker.I'm going back to a wired headset.

Excellent headset; first I tried the Plantronice Blackwire 720, which is more or less the same feature set. My issue with the Plantronics set is that it had a static hiss with the USB cable attached (seen by multiple Amazon.com reviewers).Apparently, I have a "large head" because I always need to extend headphones and headsets to the max. That's usually ok, but sometimes this makes the fit more tight than the not-so-extended position. Same here; for me the fitting is a bit tight but not too bad. This headset has three connectivity options: USB, Bluetooth, and "Jabra Link" USB wireless dongle (supplied). I have not tested the sound quality extensively, but I've not had an issue with either. The headset automatically switches between sound sources, which can act a bit strange if you have sound coming from more devices at once. The nice this about the Bluetooth option is that the headset allows you to *pair with multiple devices* (I've tried with two). The automatic source selection gets very confused if you play sound from two bluetooth devices.I am yet to see how long the battery lasts when disconnected from the USB; but I can charge this every day at work so I don't expect that to be an issue. The USB cable is a nice bright red one, with a standard micro-USB jack in the end (like a Samsung phone); which is also nice compared to the plantronics 720 which has a custom usb power cable. ... most people in the target audience should have an extra charger for that lying around at home. I hate it when there are custom cables to charge my devices.

I was recently kindly given these by Amazon to review and I have not been disappointed. I have tested them in a very noisy, busy office environment. I have to make regular calls and conference calls and before using this headset I had to find a quiet place in the office to make calls etc which was quite annoying. This headset has really helped. I can take calls in the busy office and I can hear everything perfectly and people can hear me, so it does what it says which is good! I can get up and move about and because there are no wires you won't get tangled up when moving around. Using it a lot for conference calls is slightly annoying though as you have to hold the volume down button for 2 seconds each time you want to mute and un-mute,this gets a bit tiresome after a while, a small switch or button would have been better in my opinion. Also, when you're using the headset to listen to music (which sounds ok by the way, but nothing special) and have the mic stored in the headband, when you turn the earpiece it keeps popping out and does not stay in it's 'stowed away' position. Other than that, this is a very effective noise cancelling headset which is perfect for noisy environments.Pros:Easy to set up.Good battery life.Good call quality.Noise cancelling works well. Can genuinely be used in noisy environments.Cons:Mute button is a bit fiddly.Mic 'stow away' option does not stay put!Quite expensive.

I have the standard Stereo UC version working with Windows 7 and a OnePlus 5. Here are my thoughts...The busy light is only on the side with the mic. If like me this faces the window then no-one will see you are busy.I had to update the firmware on both the headset and the link adaptor before it would work properly.I cannot use the Jabra provided desktop software because my PC support staff block this install. Thus I updated the firmware on my home PC.Battery life exceeds 1 day which for me is enough.Noise cancelling is nonsense - while the mic may do it the office noises can still be heard. You need the 75 for active noise cancellation, the 65 relies simply on the headset blocking your ears which is ineffective.Sound quality and mic are very good for voice. Music is just OK...while effective it lacks depth. Now onto the dual-pairing, this annoys me...I have paired with my mobile and if I listen to music when a call is received in Windows then I have to pause the music on the mobile manually before the headset switches to the PC. The switching is done automatically once I have paused the music. After the call if I resume music on the mobile then it plays in the headset automatically. The delay and need to pause the music were unexpected and not mentioned in the adverts or manual so it's a bit mis-leading.

If not for the price, I would have given this headset 5 stars.Connection was a breeze - simply plug in the Bluetooth dongle into your PC, turn on the switch on the headset and you're away. I'm using this at work with Skype and I've had no problems with it at all. It is so much better than the wired one I had been using before as it offers up a lot more freedom and you don't have to keep moving the cable away from going over the keyboard while talking and typing at the same time.I've not yet managed to pair it up with my phone as well (yet to try that properly) as turning on Bluetooth on my phone didn't show up the Jabra. The description says that this can be done, but there is nothing detailed in the start up manual.Very happy with it. I especially like that you can store the microphone out of the way onto the head strap. It clicks into place via a magnet in the strap. The only issue I have is that with both ears covered, it is hard to gauge how loudly I'm speaking, but I'll probably get used to that. The sound is clear and precise and I've not had any complaint with people unable to hear me.Would recommend

I've worked from home for seven years now, and over the years have bought a number of different headsets. More recently I've tried looking into wireless/bluetooth headsets.bluetooth was always a bust. The microphone either picked up nothing, or everything. For wireless it'd struggle not to interfere with the huge amount of wireless traffic. These Jabra ones though, they're awesome. I keep them connected to the PC via the wireless USB adapter, and have also paired the bluetooth with my phone. I work all day on Skype for Business, and the Jabra software updates my presence based upon whether I'm on a call on Skype, Mobile, or Skype for Business.Quality of audio is great for calls, and apparently I don't pick up the noise of the washing machine or kids in the background, so I'm happy!Price is a little high, but to be honest you get what you pay for!

These rate as one of the best quality for sound in Bluetooth headphones that I have ever used. With most headphones I like to do an initial test with some classical music and then some rock. I first played Allegri Miserere, the pure vocals came across perfect. The second track I played was a selection of Jimi Hendrix and again the deep bass and electric guitar are superbly represented. The only down side to these headphones are the comfort. I don't think I have a large head, but I could not help think that the ear pieces were a bit short, most headphones have a more adjustable band to suit most head sizes. These seemed a bit short. With that in mind after a couple of hours they tend to become slightly uncomfortable. The bluetooth is very easy to setup and paired with my Fire phone and LG Tv very easily.
