What you get in the box.....The earphones themselves, a docking charger, a bluetooth Dongle (USB A but I think you can also get a USB C), case and cables. The case is for the Headphones only and has a tiny pocket in which you can put the miniscule dongle. There is room for the cables in there also .Quality of materials...The material of the phones is a satin Black Plastic. The bar across the top has a thick padding . The docking stand is also this same finish. Ear phones are soft and oval shaped. 7 cm top to bottom and 6 cm across with perforations for the sound. All hard surfaces are protected with plastic strips which you remove when you unpack it.The cardboard box these come in is shaped tocushion its contents and even that looks like it is designed carefully.Ease of connection to a Computer....I managed to pair the phones instantly with my windows 10 laptop. You put the dongle in a usb slot, it doesnt have to be on the pc, it can be on a non powered hub plugged in to it, which is great as there are only 2 usb ports on my laptop. Then you turn on the phones with a switch on the bottom of the right ear phone. Thats it! A voice tells you it is connected and the state of the battery.Charging..........To charge these phones you can do 2 things.1. Stand it on the Charger dock by suspending one earphone on the top edge which looks like it is performing a balancing trick.Full charge is 90 minutes and lasts about 36 ish hoursFast charge is 30 minutes and lasts about 8 hoursBasically you are just leaving the phones there that length of time and coming back and unplugging when the green light stops flashing.2. Just plug the usb cable straight into the phones to charge. This is useful if you are out and dont have the chunky dock with you. There is a caution to not overcharge in the information booklet so keep that in mind if you are thinking of charging overnight. The phones go into sleep mode if you take them off and lay them down so they dont waste battery power. You can partially fold the phones by rotating the ear pieces . The rotation locks so that you cant inadvertantly twist them round and round which might break an inner connection.Downloading the windows software for these is a good idea because there is a firmware upgrade which you can install quite easily with just a click to say yes.Comfort..........I generally cant wear head phones for long as they make my ears hurt due to being encased in a hot plasticy enclosure but these are different to anything I have tried before. These phones sit on your ears not around them. There is head size adjustment by simply pulling the part of the phone where the ear cushions attach. This extends by at least 2 inches overall and the head band itself is quite flexible. I have a small head and did not need to extend the band at all so I think a child could wear these if you wanted to trust them with them. The noise cancelling effect is wonderful...............The first time I really noticed it was when I was busy on the computer and my son, standing behind me about 8 feet away had to raise his voice to make himself heard and even then I barely made out what he was saying. This is so useful as it is so warm at the moment that I like the window open but as there is an alley about 30 yards from the house, people stop and talk as they wait to pass at the end. It can be so noisy the window needs shutting to hear the pc but it is not a problem with these earphones. When there is music playing on the phones, the person standing right beside you, cant hear it.Even if they put their ear up against the outside of the phone. This is handy if you work in close proximity and dont want to irritate your comrades with your quirky tunes.Connecting to other devices..................Kindle fire....I have a kindle fire tablet and was excited to try and listen to an audio book .This is where it got frustrating.According to the instructions which you must go and download from the Jabra website, you download an app to your 'phone'via the google or apple store . This app isn't available to the Kindle on Amazon's app store and not even if you go through the google play app because it is shown as not compatible with the kindle(which uses a special version of android I believe and not the conventional one) .So I just turned on Bluetooth and watched as it seemed to 'see' the earphones. It did see and appeared to pair with them but sound wasnt transferring. After much turning off and on and button pressing, I gave up for the day.I managed to connect to the Kindle AFTER I had turned off my laptop , Not having it connected to the laptop at all and by pulling the button on the bottom of the right ear phone forward and holding it there and waiting until it asked me to connect to bluetooth then clicking the jabra device when it shows up in bluetooth settings. It finally worked and then I put it all away.Next morning when I was connected to the laptop, I went to the bluetooth settings straight away on my Kindle and there it was in the list and I clicked it to connect.Yay the voice in my earphone stated 2 devices connected!! I can have my audio book playing after all.I believe you can connect 8 devices at the same time , the manual tells you for sure and is free to download from Jabra's site without actually needing to buy the earphones.Windows Phone.......I managed to connect it to my windows (nokia lumia8)phone simply by choosing it in the bluetooth list after pulling forwards on the bottom button again. No App needed.Android phone............I could download the app and install it on the phone but it does not see that the bluetooth has recognised the phones even though they are paired. So the app constantly sits waiting for you to find the phones and connect while the voice in your ear repeats 'to connect, go to your bluetooth menu and select your device'.This continues and quickly becomes irritating until you can either connect or you turn the head phone power off .I think this is a problem with the phone app though as connecting works fine on the other ( non app) devices.I noticed in the app store, there are numerous comments about not being able to connect via the newest app and a generic reply to go to their help section so I am assuming that going to their help section on the Jabra Website is probably more likely to be useful than appealing on the app store. The range .........I can connect in the front upstairs bedroom of the house and go downstairs to the back room and still be connected. It loses connection at the back door so about 40 feet diagonally from the computer across the house. It may be the walls are in the way. The voice in your ear tells you when it loses connection and how many devices are still linked but not which ones.Controls.......The buttons at top back of the right earphone are for track selection, volume settings etc .The one on front is for voice commands TO your device. There is a button in middle of that phone for connecting to microsoft teams (cant test it so cant comment) and you can reset the phones to default with this button and another together which I did do and it worked. The main microphone is set in up position when turned off and down to turn it on which is simple and keeps it out of the way when not in use. You can use this to answer a call but I havent tried it.Exercising while wearing......You arent going to be able to run wearing these phones. They will jump off your head. There are other variations for sport so if that is what you will be doing, maybe they will suit instead. They are not waterproof.Performance...When clicking some applications on PC and listening to audio on a second device, it will mute the audio until unclicking the particular pc app so worth noting if you are listening to a story or important account while mulittasking. The sound is very clean. No fizzling. You need to start with the volume very low else you will deafen yourself as they can turn up very loud.Summing up.....These are truly an pleasure to use if you are looking for noise cancelling headphones for use with a computer .They work well with my Kindle and the Windows phone. However they are let down by the Android App which is a big disappointment if you think about the amount of people who use Android.I cant say if it is the same with all Android phones (mine is running 7 1.1 ) but the feeling of loss of a function due to not being able to connect to that phone would be horrible if you had bought this to rely on that functionality. If they do update the Android App and I find later that I can connect with it, I will update this review to say so.So it is 5 stars as far as the product itself goes but 4 because of loss of an important connectability option.

The Jabra Evolve2 65 Wireless Headset connects using Bluetooth, has a stand for charging, a dongle for attaching to your laptop if it doesn’t have incorporated Bluetooth (mine doesn’t), a USB wire that you can use to connect to a laptop instead of Bluetooth and a fancy case that keeps everything together. What is most impressive (to me at least) is that it claims 37 hours of battery life.As I plan to keep my tuition business online, even after coronavirus finally (if ever) leaves, having a decent set with a microphone is essential. However, despite a degree in engineering, I am a total technophobe. The first thing I did after removing everything from the box was to look for the manual – there wasn’t one.Never mind, even an idiot like me will be able to connect them to my phone using blue tooth. I turn on Bluetooth on my phone, turn the headphones on and a voice announces that there is medium battery left (a nice surprise, as I was expecting to have to charge it for hours before use. Yes, I really am still living in the 90s!!). Unfortunately, my phone could not detect the headset. I tried pressing various buttons, but it didn’t seem to work. So, I did what I had to, and searched YouTube. I could see that there were already some videos of this product. I had never heard of Jabra before (though my husband had) so have no idea what the differences are between the Elite and the Evolve and the Evolve2 and the Evolve2 40 and the Evolve2 65, and watching the videos didn’t make it any clearer to me. None of them, however actually explained how to connect to BlueTooth, but one did point out that it says on the box to download the Jabra App and that is very important. I totally missed that, but it does say it on the box, and I agree it is really important: once I had the software it walked me through everything and worked first time. Doh!Once I had connected the earphones, they are really easy to use. I spent a few hours yesterday listening to Spotify, and could easily pause, and skip tracks forwards and backwards. You can even (when listening to music, not just in calls) make the headphones glow a red light to indicate that you are busy. The noise cancelling works well too – I couldn’t hear my kids arguing downstairs, and hadn’t heard my husband walking up the stairs until he came into the room. Time alone, listening to my music, without being disturbed – fantastic! The headphones are comfortable, both the headband and the earphones are padded. The mic is easily adjustable, and automatically mutes when in the ‘up’ position. I did a test phone call and it worked well.Despite my incompetence earlier, using the dongle so the headphones can connect to my laptop was really easy to do and worked first time. Watching videos and listening to music was no problem whatsoever. The headphones are also certified for use with Microsoft Teams. I can’t comment on that, because I have never used Teams. I could have tried that out a few weeks ago, when DD1 was using Teams for school, but it’s now summer holidays and <fingers crossed> they’ll be returning to the building in September. My first actual call using the headset was WhatsApp on my phone. Initially they worked really well; the sound was good quality and I could be heard clearly using the mic. Unfortunately, it seems to switch itself off halfway through the call. I put this down to the fact that I hadn’t charged them at all (just using the charge it arrived with) but was disappointed that there was no warning to say the charge had run out. Afterwards, I looked at what happened, and I think I mush have accidentally turned the Bluetooth off on the headphones. During the call, I couldn’t work out how to turn it back on (simply pulling the button across didn’t appear to work), so we continued the call on the phone. As it wasn’t the batteries that had run dry, I was able to listen to music for some further hours without a problem.By this time, I decided I probably should give them a decent charge. The box claims that a 15min charge equates to four hours of usage. Attaching the headphones to the charge was no problem at all. There is a light on the side to show that it is charging. The next time I put the headphones, they reliably told me that the charge was now high, and how many devices it was now connected to.Receiving phone calls on the headset is really easy. The sound (both audio and the mic) is really clear. Also, I don’t know what the range is for the Bluetooth, but it can easily be used everywhere in my home, garden and a quick walk down the road.Using the headset with Zoom was really easy. The only tricky bit was switching the preferred speaker/mike to the headset from my laptop. When you lift the mike into the vertical position, the sound is automatically muted, which makes it really easy when you need to talk to the family halfway through a call. The sound quality was good, and I have used the headset on a few calls now and am very happy with it.Overall, I really like this headset and I am happy with it. Other than my own incompetence initially, it is really easy to use and does everything I would expect from a headset. I have only charged the headset up once so far, and it is still saying that the charge is high, so though I have not tested it for a constant 37hours, I can easily believe the battery lasts that long.

Before buying this headset I read the other reviews and was concerned that there was a number of 1 star reviews with various grievances, but I've been pleasantly surprised using it.You will need to update the firmware on the headset and usb dongle in order to use it to it's full. For some, this fact alone appears to be a big issue, but I feel this is now relatively standard for IT equipment i.e. you need to keep up to date with the latest drivers, software etc.The update of the firmware was relatively straightforward. You can update the headset directly from your mobile phone using the jabra app and the bluetooth connection. Alternatively you can download the Jabra direct software and update it that way.The usb dongle can only be updated through your PC/Mac using the jabra direct software, so if you only have a work computer without install rights then this could be annoying for you. I initially tried updating the firmware using my Mac but this failed. There appeared to be an issue with the software on the Mac, so just to be aware. I used my Windows 10 PC to upgrade the firmware without incident, it was very easy. The sound quality on the headset is good to my ears, I am no audiophile but I can't tell much difference to my fancy AKG headphones when listening to music. Others have complained of the volume fade up as sound starts, but I can't say this has bothered me personally. My use case is for skype and teams calls for work and listening to music etc, but if you want to use it for dictation then maybe this will be more of an issue. The 'noise cancelling' effect of the headset are pretty limited. It does not have active noise cancelling technology but rather uses passive noise cancelling such as the shape of the earpiece etc (according to their website). To be honest, I don't notice much difference than a decent pair of over the ear headphones, so if you expect perfect silence while wearing them then prepare to be disappointed. You will likely have to spend some serious cash to get very good noise cancellation.I've had no issue with connection using both the USB dongle and the Bluetooth function. I've tried connecting to my laptop (dongle) and phone (bluetooth) at the same time, but to be honest find this fiddly as it's not always obvious which device you are controlling when using the buttons on the headset. For example, I wanted to turn the volume down on my PC but it changed the volume on my phone instead. When you are in an active call on one device, usually this becomes the dominant connection. But for me, it's simpler to have it only connected to my work PC.I bought the Microsoft teams verified version and after the firmware update is recognized as such by the Teams software. This means the central function button on the headset will call up teams, answer calls etc as expected. The call quality has been good in use, and is as clear as my previous wired headset. Much of this is down to internet connection as much as the headset itself, so not much to report in this respect. The microphone is short and so is not located in front of my mouth as my old headset was but it picks up the audio just fine. This is actually good as you can sip water etc with the mic down.Someone else had complained about the ergonomics of the design, but I have not has any issues. They are comfortable to wear and lightweight. They do not grip my head tightly, so if you move around a lot they will fall off, but for sitting at a computer, or walking normally around the room they are fine. Sure you can't do HIIT wearing them, but they are not designed with that in mind.Another reviewer had complained about the build quality, but again I can't see much wrong with them. Sure they are made from plastic.... but most products of this type are. They are light, but this suits me as I don't want to wear a heavy headset for 8 hours a day. My only comment is that the adjustable band appears to be medium to large in size, so if you have a small head they might not fit very well. The battery has lasts for multiple days use after a charge, which is much longer than my other Bluetooth headphones. I have not had them long enough to comment on the robustness of the design to wear and tear or whether the charging cycle will reduce the battery life significantly, so I will update this review in a few months with comments on this.Would I recommend them? For the price I paid for them (£135) I would say they have been good. When I looked at the alternative wireless stereo headsets this was one of the cheaper options, and I think they are fit for purpose. Are you going to be blown away by them... no. They do what they've been designed to do, and they do it to a reasonable price point. For working in an office/WFH where you want a wireless headset for calls and listening to music then I would recommend. For other use cases, such as gaming or exercise etc you will want to look elsewhere.

Frankly, MS Teams can be a pain at the best of times, but unlike some reviewers my experience using this headset with Teams has been pretty good so far.Firstly, the packing is good, but possibly lacking some drama for a premium product like this. It's in the bin now though, and it got the headset to me in one piece despite having taken a serious knock on route. In the box is the headset, a charging cable, a charging stand (if you got that option) and a fake leather pouch for the headphones. Also included is a USB Bluetooth dongle which can be found tucked into the pouch (took me while to find it!). You can connect using any Bluetooth receiver, but I highly recommend using the dongle. It has a nice status light showing Green for in call and mic open, or red for in call on mute which is incredibly useful. The headset itself is for the most part well built, with a mixture of materials. The padded head support part feels and looks good, and the metal extension arms have a great finish. The body of the headphones though is made from very thin plastic. While this no doubt keeps the weight down, it doesn't feel solid. On one side of the headphones is a big rubberised Teams button that feels good to use, but on the other is a plastic cap which on my unit is a bit loose. Kind of detracts from the overall fairly premium feel.Aside from the Teams button, there is also a power/Bluetooth connect rocker, a play button, and two volume/track skip buttons. All of them work well, however the teams button only turns on and off the Busy light function. There are no instructions included with the headset besides some basics on the box, so I'm not sure exactly what else it's intended to do. While the Busy light is nice, it's also kind of annoying as it doesn't seem to work automatically when in call for me. No idea why not, but as it's only a nice to have I'm not concerned. The sound quality is good for both music and calls. Bass isn't the best, but it still performs fine with no distortion at reasonable volumes. They can still be bested by fairly cheap ear pods though. The mic picks up sound very well, with little background noise and automatically mutes when pushed upwards, which is a nice touch. What isn't so nice is that despite the promise of noise cancellation, this product only has PASSIVE, rather than ACTIVE noise cancellation. This is marketing speak for "there is no noise cancellation". At this price point, this is hard to swallow, and no matter how many times I read PNC, it's still false advertising. The ear cushions are comfortable and soft, but they certainly are not a replacement for real ANC.Wireless using the included dongle or Bluetooth to a phone is very good, and worked for me across rooms. It's possible, and easy, to have both a phone playing music and Teams connected. When a Teams call comes in, the music doesn't stop playing, but the headphones will at least switch to the call. This obviously isn't perfect, but it definitely works well enough. Finally, the charging stand works well, and sends current through some hidden contacts behind the ear cushion, so no fiddling about trying to plug them in. It's probably worth the extra for this part as it looks pretty good and keeps the headphones off the desk when not in use.All things considered, this is a good quality Bluetooth headset, however, for it's asking price of £180 it comes up lacking when you consider that other brands are offering superior sound quality, 7.1 surround sound, low latency 2.4Ghz transmission and Active Noise Cancellation for lower prices. Teams certification is nice, but other headsets can (and do) work just fine with Teams. At a lower price this could be a 5 star product. As it is, it's stuck between feature rich competition, and a £50 budget wireless headset that will happily handle your conference call without sacrificing much at all.Update:Having used this for the best part of a year, I have been impressed with Jabra's updates and improved functionality within MS teams, as well as the durability of the headset. It still looks as good as when it came out of the box, and I have never managed to run the battery down.As it's a better product now than when I first got it, it's an easy 4 stars. Though it's still lacking in some areas, I've enjoyed using it, and the RRP feels more justified.

Out of interest I have read some of the lower scores and I think some are being harsh but I’ll see what I can cover.First off, it’s an expensive set of headphones, I also have a set of Jabra over-ear and in ear headphones and I love them both. These on ear “office” headphones though I am as wowed especially when I see the price. What’s in the box?- Headset- An impressive well-made carry case (Headphone only)- USB-A Bluetooth dongle- Stand and attached charging cable (also USB-A)- Additional charging cable (USB-C to USB-A)The standLooks nice enough and charges the headphones while they sit on the stand. You have to make sure they are in correctly (you will hear/feel a gentle click)once in they will start to charge and are not early knocked off. The headphones will only charge on one side. The headsetI know that someone said they were heavy and I don’t think they are personally. I feel like they are a weight that is comfortable and is telling to how well they have been build. The sound quality is superior to my plantronics wired headset and I have had multiple people tell me how clear I sound for them. The battery life is an amazing 37 hours however, if using it at home or the office it will be on charge after every call.Call QualityBrilliant, much better than my over-ears but I think this is more down to the mic in front of your mouth. I love the fact that you can answer calls or mute calls just by moving the mic down and up. There are lights on the side to let others know when you are in a call, not great for solo workers but if you are in the office or have a family at home the lights are a great visual for them to avoid you.MusicI wasn’t expecting anything great from these as they are mainly office type headphones and I am not keen on on-ear headphones however, I have been pleasantly surprised how great these sounds with music. Any call coming in will automatically switch to this and resume music once you hang up.MS TeamsUnfortunately and my biggest issue (not with the headset) is that my company have restricted my access to what I can use on the laptop so I am unable to use it for work which is just annoying as most of my time is stuck on skype or MS Teams calls which many these would have been perfect to get up and stretch or make a tea during a long meeting.Unfortunately, I am unable to let you know if this works with MS Teams or not. Having said that, I am in talks with my IT to allow them but it’s normally a one-way conversation.VerdictI love them as a functional headset. I wish I could use them for work at home and had I purchased them I would have returned them as this would have been my main use for them. Now it will be used for work mobile calls only and my personal laptop. They are really comfortable for on-ear however personally I find that over-ear headphones are a lot more comfortable. I am happy to award 4* as I do feel they are expensive for what you get against competitors and I can see them dropping in price. If however the other review saying they do not work with MSTeams is true than I would have taken another star off and it shouldn’t be advertising it as such. Hopefully my company will get these approved and I can see for myself as I do believe they would be perfect for the job I do.Additional 21/09/20I now use this with MS Teams with work and they have worked perfectly. I find the sound quality brilliant and they are so much more comfortable than my wired work ones especially for long meetings.I recently had a whole day on teams and I was glad I had these to get up and stretch or move away from my desk. I have added a star for this.

I have had these for 1 week now and have to say that I absolutely love them. Some reviews here say that they look cheap and that the plastic is flimsy, I have to disagree with that, I think that they are very well built. The head set is light weight and very comfortable to wear and the base is sturdy. The plastic that they are made from is light but it seems very strong and somewhat flexible thus giving them a light comfortable feel when wearing. The base has enough weight and a non slip bottom to keep it grounded and it looks very smart with clean lines. The set comes with the headset, charging base, charging lead, blue tooth receiver and a very nice soft travel case.I would have liked there to be a charging plug included for the USB charging connection but since it doesn't I used a 2 amp USB plug adapter that I had laying around.I use these on my iPhone, iPad and my MacBook Pro, they will connect to two devices simultaneously which I have found very handy although I did find that the soundscape only works when connected to just one device, this might be because I don’t have the desktop program installed.I use these mainly for listening to music and making / receiving calls as I work from home, the sound quality is superb and by using the sound+ app’ you can adjust the equaliser to your own preference. I can’t comment on the Microsoft Teams side of these as that’s not something I use but for all the connections that I do use these have been flawless, you can even set them to hear your own voice through the headset and alter the volume of this, all of these settings are in the simple to use app’.Another thing I love is the Soundscape function for blocking out noise, there are many choices of ambient and nature sounds to choose from, my favourite has to be the birdsong which I find very calming and puts me in my own little world. All of the buttons are easy to reach and are located in sensible positions making them much more easily interactive than some other headsets I have used, you can also answer and mute a call by just raising or lowering the microphone boom, this can be turned off in the app’ but I find it a very handy way of handling calls. The Blue Tooth gives you so much more freedom than being tethered to a lead and has a very good range, I was still able to listen to music with my device downstairs and me wearing the headset upstairs through one wall and about 14 meters away, this will likely vary but for my building they work extremely well, I haven’t used the included receiver as my devices have built in Blue Tooth and connect to these without issue. The only problem I have had is putting them onto the charging base, it’s a bit fiddly trying to get the pins to locate but I think this just needs some getting used to. Another small thing I would have liked is a charging light to be on the base so that it’s easier to see as the light that’s on the headset can only be seen from certain angles when charging but this is no big deal just my preference. All in all this is by far the best headset that I have used for comfort, sound and quality and I can recommend these without hesitation.

These Jabra Elvolve 2 65 headphones are just the perfect headphones for work at the office, at home or on the move, with their amazing 37 hour battery life (a full charge is in 90 minutes or 8 hour use in just 15 minutes!) It’s easy to plug and play use with android or IPhones or desktop, laptop or tablet. It works super easily with any Bluetooth device, it even has a Jabra link 380 Bluetooth adaptor that plugs into a standard USB A port. It’s located inside the headphones carry case at the top. It also comes with a cable for charging directly into the headphones via a built in USB C port to an USB A port, though the rather stylish docking charging station is included too, which does look good on a desk and is easy to charge and somewhere to keep the headphones sitting safely. The sound is crystal clear as you’d expect from Jabra, they’ve packed in 40mm speakers which sound great and the earphones have been designed to minimise noise around you, letting you concentrate on your work and conference calls with ease. The built in mic is so easy to use, to mute it just push up vertically, to speak pull it down, the built in voice assistant tells you too so you don’t leave it on when you don’t want to. I’ve tested the headphones out talking online to my son (who will be the lucky recipient of these headphones as he works much of the time at home on conference calls all over the world in his busy role) I’m happy to say these worked well, no cut outs or jitters, even up to 30 metres away, I tested them around my home and down my garden. They are impressive. They are also lightweight, well padded across the headband, which is flexible, the ear pads are super soft too and the headband easily adjusts above the ear pads. The controls are simple enough to use whilst wearing place on the right ear with volume up and down, plus a mute button, and a answer/end call button. On both ears there’s a clearly seen light that’s purple until you use the mic arm down for a call or video call then the lights go red, showing colleagues you are busy on a call. A great idea in a shared office. If you’re looking for a reliable Bluetooth headset from a quality reliable brand then I absolutely recommend this professional standard Jabra Evolve 2 65 headset, it’s beautifully made, lightweight, with excellent audio capabilities of consistently excellent performance with outstanding battery life. They come in a neat zip up case when travelling that’s easy to stow away in a laptop bag or in the car. Please see my photos, I hope my review has been helpful to you, thank you for taking the time to read it.

So ordinarily, I am a big big fan of Jabra, and have had a wide range of their products in the past. Across the board, and with this one being no exception, they've all had superior sound quality for a relatively well priced consumer model, and excellent physical design features. This Evolve2 65 Model looks the part - a matte black plastic with a swivel out microphone, clean sharp edges, no stray wires, and a charging dock that suits being left out on a table. The dongle is a USB A (the classic one that's been around for years) which you plug in to your computer, and then turn the headset on to connect. For me it required going in to my bluetooth settings to connect it properly, but the computer recognised them straight away with no issues. For watching videos online this was fine, but I came across some problems when trying to connect to Teams. They initially connected at first, but seemingly dependent on the meeting I was in. There was too much preamble for me at the start of every meeting, they didn't work fluidly and straight away. Sometimes it was a connection issue, sometimes a volume issue, but either way not the smoothest of experiences. While I understand this may not be the case for everyone, I would say for all to update the firmware of these the moment you get them - sometimes the product itself can have been manufactured a year ago, but in that time they've updated and patched the firmware so they do actually work and have fixed the issues people have reported. So for me and these, connectivity and software issues with teams has been a problem on occasion, but again I can't fault sound quality. I tried them with Spotify and the abilities of them in terms of dynamic range is brilliant. The microphone equally is crystal clear and ideal if you're doing recorded voice calls or teaching sessions; the quality is what you need for this level of usage.I would say though that Jabra are stronger on the audio technology, and less so on the app and softwares. Which is why some issues have come up with this headset, which is reliant on the softwares working and being compatible for ease of use, compared to other headphones that are purely for music with the app and software being an optional choice.

Jabra Evolve2 65 Wireless Headset with Charging Stand – Noise Cancelling Microsoft Teams Certified Stereo Headphones with Long-Lasting Battery - USB-A Bluetooth Adapter - BI have been using this headset for almost 3 weeks now and I feel that it doesn’t quite live up to the £176 price tag. Let’s start with the positives of this headset by Jebra. For starters, this headset has exceptional battery life and possibly more than you would need. After just one single charge over night on the wireless charging stand, my headset lasted me a very long time, In fact, I didn’t even need to charge it for almost 5 days! I used these for conference calls and listening to music via Bluetooth and it was great! The noise cancelling is great but nothing special, especially for £176 headphones. I like how this was added though as when I’m on zoom calls, I can really focus on whats being said without having to worry about background noise which can often be distracting to what’s being said. The headset is also adjustable and the ear pads can be swivelled around so that you can listen to colleagues, etc in your workplace with ease.As for the app, it’s also great and very user friendly. It allows you to change the bass/treble, etc via an equalizer which is great for music/sound optimisation. I also love how you can listen to soundscapes, which can help you concentrate on the work you’re doing or even for meditating. My personal favourite is the ventilation fan one, but there’s sure to be one to suit your audible needs best. It also has a ‘find my jabra’ which allows you to try and locate your headset in case it goes missing, similar to the ‘find my iPhone’ feature on iPhones.I do think that there are too many buttons on the headset and using/locating each button at the necessary times will need some getting used to. As for the sound quality, it’s okay and could’ve been better for a £176 headset. Regardless, call quality is exceptional so if this is mainly what you’ll be using this headset for, then it would be well worth it!All in all, a quality headset for making and listening to calls. Recommended! :)

For the past year I’ve been using the original Evolve 65… I found that they felt loose and kept slipping and the ear pads lacked enough padding - plus they felt cheap and horrible considering the price.I was willing to pay full price so opted to get these from Amazon warehouse - granted the box was a bit scuffed up but the content inside was all accounted for and absolutely fine.As for the headphones themselves -Pros:1. Although no active noise cancelling like other premium headphones, the additional padding and material used really do help reduce background noise (something the originals didn’t do)2. The padding…there’s more of it so they feel more comfortable on the ears without plastic parts feeling pressed against you.3.It has a silicon gel cushion on the headband that not only adds comfort but reduces your headset shifting about easily.4. A more premium feel - I’m almost certain they are still plastic BUT they have been coated in a rubber texture.5. Buttons. You have the mute button to the front where as the others are to the back. All with easy access. (Note: my model has a teams button but currently we don’t use it so I have no idea what this is supposed to do)Cons:The main one is this only fits one way…which is annoying. As I’m on the phone whilst using a computer I prefer to control the headset with my left hand as I’m using the mouse in my right. (Previous models could be adapted to use left or right handed). This is a real shame.Overview:Nice decent headphones that are comfy to wear and definitely a huge upgrade from the previous model - are they worth the RRP … definitely not. If you can get them for around £100 or under then they are worth it if you use them daily. In the box you do get a nice leatherette pouch that jabra sell for £85 separately - maybe this should be a cheaper case to reduce costs.I didn’t get the stand - but was shocked jabra are selling this for £75. The accessories are stupidly expensive.

Initially the price of this headset (and others in this price range) was slightly off-putting. Just how much better could it be than a cheaper headset or indeed my trusty wired Sennheiser. The answer is... quite a bit.The headset has a nice solid feel to it, with excellent padding on the ears and the headband (something frequently overlooked). As I'm generally on calls or meetings for 4+ hours in a day this is actually quite relevant. Also relevant is the (optional) audible warning and reminders when you go on or off of mute - as well as the two ways of doing this.Customisable functions, through an app, is a nice touch - such as turning a 'busy' light on the side of the headset on or off.Battery life has been good,I generally charge it every two to three days and I rarely let it get to a low battery warning, meaning it could probably manage most of the week without attention if I were less talkative.I got the option configured for MS Teams and it has been quite useful to work with some of the utility button functions built in to that. Being able to wander off and make a coffee whilst in a meeting is an unexpected bonus and doesn't have any noticeable impact on the sound quality at about a 7-10m range.Would I buy one of these to see out the rest of lockdown if I didn't plan to use it beyond that? Probably not - there are plenty of high quality wired units for around half the price. However, I got this because I anticipated using it for several years to come and, so far, there is nothing to indicate that it won't be capable of meeting that expectation.Overall, it is a good investment if you expect to use a headset regularly and want something high enough quality to last well and be comfortable for extended use. There are probably better units out there but for most of us the differences would likely be splitting hairs. If you want a solid, competent effort then this is one worth considering.

With headphones like this it’s very important that they’re really comfortable because it’s the type of thing you’re likely going to be wearing for most of the day. These headphones have an incredibly soft padding, they’re adjustable enough to be a great fit, and as they’re fairly small they’re not too hot either.I wasn’t expecting sound quality to be that good as they’re intended for video calls etc, but I tried listening to music with them as well and found the sound quality is superb! Theres a decent amount of base and treble, and they have a nice warm tone listening to music, which I found to be really good. If you’re the type of person who likes to listen to music while you work then these are going to be really good for you, don’t be fooled into thinking they’re only suitable for video calls!Setting them up via Bluetooth was very easy on my Mac and on a windows PC, you just hold the on button and it goes into connection mode, then it shows up immediately as a Bluetooth device on the computer and you click to pair it. The range of the Bluetooth connection is really good too, I tested it right at the other end of my room and had no noticeable drop in sound quality. If you’re using it for audio calls and sometimes like to get up and wander around, you should have no problem! It’s also really nice having the included dock, so when you’re done with them you just slot them on and they’ll be automatically charging so you’ll always know they’re full when you need them. The mic quality is good too, I tested it on a call with my friend and they said it was very clear. Having a mic so close to your mouth helps filter out any background noise around you, so even if you’re in a noisier environment it’ll pick you up nicely!Overall I think they’re really great headphones! Highly recommend!

The current Amazon listing calls these noise cancelling. My understanding is that noise cancelling listens to the external sounds and then plays them back just out of phase, so the peaks and troughs of the sound wave cancel each other out. If that is the case, these are not noise cancelling. They are noise isolating, but anything that muffles out external noise can be classed as that. However, they do block out a reasonable amount of background chatter.I don’t use teams, but they work on perfectly on Skype and they are comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time. I can hear the caller and they can hear me without any issues. There can be a little bit of fade, but it hasn’t hampered my calls. These were easy to set up on my works laptop running Windows 10 Enterprise which is heavily restricted from installing software and plugging in USB devices. I plugged in the receiver and the headphones were pretty much ready to use. No fussing and no messing around. The docking station for charging is a bit fiddly. You have to place the edge of the docking station between the foam ear pad and the body of the headphone. Then line up 2 prongs with the contacts on the headphone. It is easy enough to do, just a bit of a faff sometimes. Of course there is always the supplied USB-C cable to use.Not a negative – just an observation: These are marketed towards online meetings more than music or gaming, so it would be unfair to compare them to other like priced headphones. That being said, they do give good quality music playback. They are also good for game speak, but the ambiance of the game sounds is lost a little and not quite as immersive.Bottom line: A great set of headphones, just a bit of a price to pay for online chat.

Summary:- Excellent battery life lasting 3-4, LONG days of usage- Excellent noise insulation / cancellation- Excellent call audio clarity on both sides- Comfortable all roundMy role requires me to spend up to 11 hours each day taking calls and discussing with colleagues, and my previous headphones were really on their way out with gradually worsening noise and distortion. This headset arrived at the perfect time and the difference is night and day. These fit well and the memory foam creates a snug, tight fit that is soft, comfortable and keeps out any background noise. At first I found the mute function a little pointless; move the mic up and it'll mute your voice, but this actually helps to remind you of when you are muted, as too often using previous headphones I would forget I had pressed the mute button and would start talking without unmuting myself. While you're on a call, the outside of the cup lights up as red to indicate you are busy, which is helpful to show that I am unavailable. As a wireless headset, it connects via Bluetooth which is very quick and easy to connect to both my computer and my phone. They do have a very sleek, cool and professional style which is far nicer than the typical 'function over style' that you get with most certified headset. These actually look like they are high quality, rather than a cheap pair. The only issues I do have is with software and compatibility. We use some in-house software which is built on Teams but also Skype. Sometimes they do work perfectly well but sometimes you need to ensure that only one program is open at a time. This isn't too much of an issue for me, but should be something to consider.
