The good:I work next to quite a noisy team in a big open plan office, and was having real issues hearing what anyone was saying over the phone on the standard Jabra headset. These are a huge improvement. Even with the active noise cancelling off they cut down on a lot of the noise. With ANC on they are even better. Subjectively I would say 50% without ANC, and 80% with ANC.They worked via USB on a Cisco 9971 phone. I just removed the existing connection, and plugged the controller into the USB port. They are pretty comfortable for occasional use. The cups easily fit over my ears, and wearing glasses isn't a problem. The phones plug into the controller via a headphone jack.So I can unplug from the phone and pluc into my PC for online training courses. The not so good:They do get warm. I wouldn't want to wear them all day without taking them off every hour or so. Not as comfortable as Sony WH-1000xM3 headphones. They are nowhere near as good as my Sony headphones for music. For me this is not a problem as I prefer wireless for music, and I don't want to constantly unplug from the office phone and plug into my smartphone.I do wish they were wireless. I know Jabra do the wireless Evolve 75, but only the Evolve 80 was on my company's approval list for my phone. The wire is bright orange. No idea why - I would far prefer something more subtle.I also wish they were cheaper!

Great product. Big, sturdy and comfortable design which makes wearing them the majority of the day easy.I am on the phone the majority of the day and it is a mixture of my mobile and via the PC on Skype/soft-phone so this product works really well as I can unplug it from the headphone jack on the USB cable that plugs in to my laptop and plug it into my mobile really easily in a matter of seconds. The cups on the headband are really comfortable, as is the headband itself. The noise cancellation is good, not excellent in comparison to specialist headphones such as my Sennheisers or Beats but, for a multi-use office headset, this is a very good purchase. The sound quality is good and could do with being a little louder though. The mic is pretty good and has a good pickup if it is in the right position without picking up background noise.Come with a neoprene carry case and the cups twist to go flat and can be put in your laptop bag really easily. The down side I have found is that as someone who wears glasses, the foam on the cups is not particularly forgiving and therefore the arms on my glasses push the cups out and doesn't allow a great seal around my ears and therefore I cannot get a true noise cancellation from them however, when I am not wearing my glasses, they are great!

This headset is primarily aimed at people who work in noisy offices rather than as a gaming headset, although thanks to its Active Noise Cancelation - which is very good, although it takes 3 hours to charge up from a USB port on its first use - if you're playing games in a noisy environment then this evolve 80 might be worth considering. The boom microphone may look a bit dated, but it's actually good at picking out your voice from any background noises, and it's also light and unobtrusive when you're not using it or its flipped up out of the way. While externally the cans are round rather than oblong, they do totally cover your ears, which is always a bonus when it comes to comfort.Sound quality is good, rather than mind blowing.A largish USB dongle is also included, enabling you to take, end and mute calls, as well as adjusting the volume. One nice touch is that the dongle has a rubberised backing so is less prone to sliding about your desk or slipping off it. A soft, zippable carry pouch is also included to store the headset and dongle in.Downsides? Well, the price is a bit steep. But then, the noise cancellation is very good. So if good noise cancellation in an office environment is what you're looking for then this may be a price that's worth paying.

Wow - I absolutely LOVE these headphones! Within one minute of them arriving I had them on and had switched on the noise reducing option - amazing! It almost totally blocks outside noise, even the sound of my keys hitting the keyboard as I type this! Lots of cool functions: you can switch on a red light around the rim of the headphone to indicate to others that you're 'busy' and not to be interupted; you can switch on a 'listen in' function while the noise reducing option is activated so that you aren't totally shut off from the outside world. And, best of all, the sound is wonderful - rich, deep bass and very little 'leak' for people around you.The USB/jack option for connecting to devices is very useful and the headphones fold down into a neoprene pouch for carrying around.Yes, they're pretty pricy, but this is clearly a quality product that will not disappoint. You get what you pay for... I recommend.

This is a very high quality headset. I have been using the microphone on Skype calls and it is as good as anything available. I often use a headset at work and this performs as well in terms of the mic. As for the sound quality for digital and computer sound it is very very good. The noise cancellation is exceptional having tested that on the tube. It has both a USB and a 3.5mm jack which means I can use it on a number of devices I can honestly say it is the best headset and mic I have ever used. However I am only giving it 4 stars as it is also in the top of the price range and at that price I would expect nothing less. If you are willing to spend over £200- on a computer headset and mic then this is definitely worth considering. If not there are a lot of much cheaper options out there but obviously not as good in terms of quality. If this review was helpful please click the yes button

I was very impressed with the sound quality that you get whilst wearing these headphones - crystal clear. The are comfortable to wear and neatly fold up to fit into the little bag that comes with them, which makes them easy to travel about with.Love the fact that you can 'mute' all outside sounds, means I don't have to listen to people around distracting me from my work. This function has to be turned on and so you can choose to hear everyone around you if you wish. My husband was wearing them last night whilst watching a film on our MacBook, he was quite happy to switch the function on and ignore me when I calling him. 'Oh sorry, couldn't hear you' he said, even though I was about two feet away! The headphones are quite large though, and being a petite woman, they look quite comical on my head! I think they are more suited to a man's larger head!

I really like these. I find it strange though, that they need to be charged before usage. If they are simply being plugged into the computer, shouldn't they take the charge immediately from the computer? Consequently, this makes me worried about electromagnetic pollution right next to my head, hence the 4 stars.I love the white noise reduction, though it is really unnerving to begin with. It allows a much better sound experience. I also like the microphone as a lot of headphones don't have that and you have to look for special ones that come with a microphone. They fit my ears beautifully, so there's no uncomfortable squishing and readjusting. The angling of the inner bits (I don't know what they're called)means it works with the anatomy of the ears.A very good product which I recommend.

These headphones are great for working in a busy office because they cancel out the noise around you. You can also set them so you can still hear people if you need to but I found it wasn't great. I ended up taking them off to talk to people and this is a bit of a pain at times. They have a mic so you can use it to take calls too and it seems to be good though I haven't used it much

the ANC blocks background noise very well, and blocks other office conversations enough that you can ignore them. I don't have to make any effort to concentrate on my calls now, and don't hear the very noisy office + coffee machine + air con. Equally good with mobile handset and Skype. Only drawback is the price.

Finally a pair of decent headphones I can use for conference calls with Lync and a VOIP soft phone. A decent amount of noise cancelling and pretty impressive music quality as well. Works well with my iPhone to, which was a bonus.
