I bought this item from a high street store, as I wanted one quickly due to being fed up of Zelda BOTW and Skyrim draining the Switch’s battery quickly. It bulks up my Switch and increases the weight but there is more to hold now so it’s easier. The headphone jack coverage is no issue as I play in handheld mode with no sound, mainly so I can still have conversations with others in the same room who are watching the tv.So far the power pack has fully charged my Switch one and a half times before being drained. That’s after being charged the night before. As I haven’t had it a day yet, the battery life might improve a little bit as it is used. I drain the switch’s battery before using the Venom to charge it.

I purchased this for two reasons.Reason 1) better switch standReason 2) better battery lifeThe box comes with the unit itself and an extra USB C wire. Overall it comes with barely any packaging and a small compact box. No space is wasted.Another thing I liked is you can easily place your Nintendo switch in and out of the unit however the only time I do this is to charge my unit and switch at the same time. (one in the dock and then the USB wire connected to it).Pros:More stable standLooks part of the Nintendo switchGood battery lifeCan play on any surface without having it fall overDoesn't affect coolingCons:Adds some weight to the switchAnd the locking system feels a bit loose and flimsyA big

This is one of the best things I ever bought for my Switch, together with the Hori Split Pad Pro. I play Mortal Kombat 11 with it and I get tired of the game before even making a dent on the battery. Played for 6 hours once and still had half of it left, plus the Switch battery life. Amazing! I went as far modding my Hori Split Pad Pro just so that I could have both at the same time, by cutting the tabs flush. I love it and strongly recommend it, the battery life on the Switch by itself is not very good. I will be buying spare ones in case I ever go on a big trip without access to an outlet. In short, this Venom Power Bank + Hori Split Pad Pro = now you're playing with power!

Pros:1- usb type C on Switch is fully covered & protected,not exposed like other Switch Power Banks.2- built in stand which is very important feature.3- charges the Switch while it's OFF,in Sleep Mode or while Playing Games.4- built USB port to charge other devices like phones,tablets,controllers...etc5- increase play time from 2 to 3 hours to up to 6 hours depending on games you play,wifi..etc6- has headphone jack slot7- has usb type C charging port so you can charge the power bank & you can use any charger with usb type C cable to charge it.Cons:1- little on the Heavy side.but i use the stand so perfect for me.no other cons but will update this review if i find any.

Venom can now claim to have the best switch external battery pack on the market now that the headphone jack slot is there. Other than doubling the battery (that's a lot of time for games like stardew Valley or Sonic Mania) the stand is pretty decent, there is also a USB A and USB C slot allowing you to connect peripheral devices to the switch while the battery is still attached, and you can also charge another device from the USB A port...Only bad thing is that it adds some weight, making it uncomfortable for longer sessions, although I imagine if in the car /train etc then you will have this resting on your lap slightly

A great idea for a product. The kickstand on the Switch is pretty unreliable so having a more balanced design, with the powerbank is a great addition. My only issue was getting the legs out for the kickstand. It was pretty much impossible without prying them out with a sharp object. The plastic stops at the end of the leg were slightly too protruding so I used a nail file to take enough off so it still held, but was much easier to free from the stand. Would have been 5 stars if not for this.

Agree with Lisa. Excellent product except it looks like they forgot to make the hole for the headphone jack. If you look closely on the inside where the hole should be there is a tiny indent where the hole lines up. What I have done it taken a drill bit size 4 (see picture) to drill through the unit on a slow setting. The headphone socket lines up perfectly and I can now have extended portability with sound without annoying anyone else!

Great power bank for the nintendo switch although the legs/flip stands feel a little flimsy and the power bank does add quite a bit of weight. But secures nicely to the console with the slide lock mechanismCharges while you play and while the console is off. Extends gaming time of the switch for continuous gaming for a very long time.Highly recommend it.

Does add some weight onto the console but massively extends the life of game play. Just what I need when I’ve fished for a loach.. that’s looking at me with reproach; as the rest of my life spirals into a vat of nothingness and disarray bidding to pay of the eternal debt of Tom Nook.

Charger fits perfectly with the switch, not loose and no issues.Charges sufficently multiple times.Note: Did have an issue with my order, the item had several cracks.Contacted the the supplier (GTD Gaming) and they sent a replacement instantly!5* product with 5* service.

Good design and simple to use.Does make the Switch a little bulky but no biggie, kids can use it fine.Mine has the open slot so headphones can be plugged on to Switch to use.Issue I have is the capacity. Doesn't last a long time playing Fortnite and some other games.

It's a little heavy to hold with the switch as hand held. It kind of hurts your fingers to hold up for too long. That being said it's absolutley fantastic with the kickstand. I'm really happy that it's so stable compared to the built in one.

Fab extra power bank for the Nintendo switch. Also has a really good stable stand for gaming on the go. Nice fit and you can still get the ports you need and switch games whilst it’s clicked on. Feels very secure.

good buy and I would say it defo worth it I like it has stands so you can stand it up and ur able to charge phones/ other devices it's a little heavy and make it alittle larger in size it just enough too big

I brought this a couple of weeks ago and it’s brilliant, the stand is more stable on it as it has two legs unlike the switch which just has one and falls easy, the stand is very stable on the power pack.
