So I like this camera! Around the house (sometimes I record parties or BBQ's in timelapse), family days out and holidays (swimming pool footage). It works well and have had little problem with it.However, the camera on it's own is a little hard to get around menu wise. I've bought the add on screen which is mega. However x2... this makes it heavy when it's in its case (the larger rear door is required for this). I am currently using it skiing in the Alps and have a clip mount for my day sack shoulder strap. Not an issue. However x3... when I want to put it onto the extended pole to get some far away, up high and behind shots I can only hold it for around a minute before I have to have a break! It's so damn heavy. So I thought, it's not raining, snowing or likely to get wet (I don't tend to fall over much), I'll try it without the case. Much lighter I thought. Plus I'll have very little problem with it fogging up (I do use anti-fog strips in the case but not great). It records about a minute before it stops recording due to the cold. So there I am making some killer turns and holding my pole high for some great footage, some good air-time, that will make a good video only to find out I got the minute or so of me sorting my kit out at the beginning of the run. FFS!The app is terrible. If using in snowy conditions the battery drains quickly enough as it is without having to turn the wifi on just to make sure the lens is pointing the right way whilst on my daysack or helmet. Playback on the app is terrible and often it doesn't download images or footage. Pointless. In my opinion, its cheaper than the GoPro and does a pretty good job if you're just wanting a small camera for general use, the quality of the images and the videos are up there with its competitors. But if you're looking for a camera for some serious (or semi-serious) action shots and footage I'd go with GoPro Session and spend the extra purely for the connectivity and its size/weight and its tougher/water/dust proof build.Accessory wise veho has a lot to offer and at a far better price than GoPro. I have the XPack too and that is great. I have the remote (wifi/cold/battery issues aside) it works well and is easier to navigate menus than doing it in the camera without the screen attached. So that's all a plus point for Veho.I've not had to deal with Veho's customer services but by all accounts it's terrible. But I can't make a judgement as I've had no issues worth reporting. The bottom line... good for light to moderate use but for the more serious activities it needs to be lighter, Gopro will be getting my custom based purely on this.

The usual story, It may be a perfectly good little gadget, though the buttons are fiddly, but the support offered by Veho is dire. It doesn't come with a full manual, only an inadequate quick start guide and the rest on mini-disk - which I have no way of playing! Is it really so expensive to include a hard-copy manual you can take with you when you're out and about using the thing? So you can only learn how to use it from your computer. Grrr. And of course Veho offer no phone number you can ring for customer support, only an email address - because they don't really want to be bothered with you. I emailed 24 hours ago, and of course, again - still no reply. Shoddy customer support, possibly still a good product. Either way, like so many other companies, Veho have an idiotic business model that serves only to p*** off its customers, and could so easily be solved.Update - product has now been returned. I spent over an hour trying to get it to work and failed, This is my third sports camera and I had no problems with the previous ones. I just wanted one that did slo-mo. But this one is impossible to operate, with poor instructions, maddening buttons and no customer support at all. AVOID!

Poor video quality. I use it to record tennis matches and the recorded footage is not smooth and resolution is not good.
