I bought this just before a 3 week family holiday to Australia as a backup/extra camera to my GoPro Session. I did purchase a cheaper 16Mp version under a different brand but decided at the last minute that it might be better to spend a bit more and get one with a 20Mp sensor and image stabilization. Overall, it's awesome and I've been utterly delighted with it. Over 4 weeks of use I shot nearly 70Gb of video and still footage from Go-Karting, to wildlife to snorkeling on the barrier reef, it's not let us down once and the image quality has been top notch. The only extras I've added have been a floaty handle for swimming and the extra two batteries and little charger that's £9.99 on Amazon. These are essential as each battery only lasts about an hour an a quarter and on an action packed day out I'll easily rip through all four batteries. So,onwards to the details. First off, image quality is excellent and definitely worth spending the extra for this version over the 16Mp sensor versions. Stills quality is also much improved and for video 1080p and 50fps is the sweet spot, this gives smooth and sharp footage with great colour even when played back on a 70" TV screen. The 2K and 4K setting were a bit jerky due to the lower frame rates so I rarely if ever used them. The smartphone app does all you need and works fine on Android or Apple. The only quirk is you need to turn on WiFi on the camera, then activate airplane mode on the smartphone, then turn on WiFi on the phone and connect phone WiFi to the camera WiFi - and only then open the App itself. If you don't follow these steps and in this order you won't manage to get the app to connect to the camera and you'll get no clues as to why it's not working from either the manual or any on screen messages either. Follow the correct sequence and everything works perfectly, although not nearly as fully featured as the GoPro app it's actually faster and more reliable. With everything connected correctly you can remotely control the camera, view live footage and download footage to your phone and share it online. Find and download the manual from the Campark site, it's pretty detailed, it is accurate and explains all the features well. In daily use, picture quality is excellent, the image stabilisation works well and dramatically improves the footage in comparison to non stabilised footage. Low light performance is definitely grainier and much worse quality than in normal light but I was quite shocked as to how successful it was at capturing useable footage in extremely low light conditions. By extremely I'm talking about underwater in total darkness bar some weak coloured LED pool lighting. The footage was poor but it did work. Around an outdoor dinner table at night with dim lighting the footage was excellent. sound quality is good but not excellent and close not quite as good as my GoPro Session. It works well as close range but doesn't seem that sensitive to sound beyond about 3 - 4 metres range. Once in the underwater housing the sound quality is worse, fine for underwater and in a close range pool environment but using it out of water in the waterproof housing makes voices muffled and less clear. The menu is easy and intuitive, the touch screen and software is fast and responsive, the camera feels well made and has so far proved perfectly reliable. In summary and compared with my GoPro Session, the footage at 1080p is as good as the GoPro, the GoPro might be marginally brighter and sharper but there's virtually nothing in it. I suspect the Campark has the better sensor but the Session has a better quality lens. The GoPro has slightly better sound quality and is waterproof without a housing but you can't change its battery. During a day spent on the Barrier Reef the GoPro was flat and out of action whilst charging from a powerbank after 1 hour whilst the Campark managed 4+ hours of filming via four batteries and by the time the last battery was flat the first two were recharged via the little dual charger and the powerbank and ready for more. Over the course of 3 weeks holiday the telling pint was that when reaching for a camera I kept finding myself grabbing the Campark X20 as opposed to my GoPro Session. The reasons being mainly that the video quality was excellent, the sound quality was perfectly Ok, the battery life through having removable and extra batteries was a huge improvement over the Session, and the touch screen and menu system was much more user friendly that the GoPro Sessions simple two button and tiny screen option. It's great if you just want to turn on or off recording but the moment you want to switch from video to stills or change from 1080p to slow motion it gets very awkward. The X20's touchscreen is way simpler. Even using the buttons on the waterproof case to scroll through the menu options is easier than the GoPro Session alternative. So all in all, excellent camera and well worth the extra money over the 16Mp sensor versions.

A really great touch screen action camera with a mass of features, I already own a GoPro Hero5 but feel I got sucked in by the name a bit and although it has some nice features it also has some very irritating ones and a lot of design flaws so wanted a more advanced action camera with a touch screen feature along with the ability to have a ultra wide angle, something missing on most budget action cameras and after a lot of searching thought this would be the action camera for me.It arrived in a Campark branded flip top box opening up to a zip sided case which contained the camera inside it’s waterproof case, a multitude of attachments and fittings and the battery in the bottom section of the case all inserted into cut out foam padding,on the top section of the case behind webbing it had the instruction manual along with some additional fittings. After unpacking everything I fitted the battery into the camera, put it on charge and started to have a read through the manual. The manual is very clear and easy to follow all being in English and has clear linked diagrams to descriptions of functions, features and uses alongside the operating instructions. I installed the CamKing application to my Android phone as per the instructions at the back of the manual so it was ready to go when I set the camera up.Once the battery was charged I inserted a micro SD card (not supplied) and turned on the camera, the camera has an onscreen tutorial the first time you switch it on which I found very useful showing the swipe motions, I found the touch screen very responsive and after a bit of messing about getting used to it very easy to navigate and adjust. I then went on to link the camera to the CamKing application which works very well and you are able to adjust many of the settings of the camera from this along with remotely record and take snap shots.I tried to test the camera with as many different recording situations and settings as I could, I tried it as a dash cam which worked very well and certainly on a par with the dash cam I have fitted in my car, I tested the waterproof case which gave a total seal not letting any water what so ever through the case as you would expect and found the recording quality superb. I tested the slow motion feature on all settings x2 x4 and x8 and this worked very well. I then fitted it to my cycle helmet and went out for my daily ride and was really impressed with the gyro image stabilization and anti-shake functions giving me very clear stable footage.I have added some video footage and will also add some pictures showing the camera unpacking, going through the touch screen menu, linking the CamKing application to the camera and going through the menu on that. I then show some footage of testing the waterproof camera case followed by a short clip of my remote control truck doing a simple jump using the slow motion feature to record on x4, finally showing some footage from my cycle ride, unfortunately I was unable to fit the dash cam footage on the video due to the size restraints. Please note my original video is of high quality but the video quality often degrades considerable when uploaded through Amazon’s optimisation system but hopefully not too much. What I liked*************- Superb quality recording- Holds up to a 64gb micro SD card, a lot of cameras are limited to 32gb- Easy to navigate touch screen and swipe menu system on the camera- Ability to use the camera as a dash cam with full features of a standard dash cam- The CamKing application works very well and makes it easy to control the camera and settings remotely- The 170°ultra wide angle works really well- The front LED displaying mode, battery level and lasting time a very neat and useful addition- Gyro image stabilization and anti-shake functions work really well- Nice zip sided case containing a multitude of fixtures and fittings for the camera- The waterproof case, easy to open and close and works perfectlyWhat I Didn’t Like********************- Not so much as a dislike as something I would have liked as it only states one battery but I would have liked the addition of a spare batterySummary**********Superb camera, I paid an arm and a leg for my GoPro Hero5 but now realise a lot of the cost was paying for the name and for less than half the price this camera with the touch screen and great recording quality along with all the features is a far more useful and practical camera for me, I would certainly recommend it along with giving it full marks. If you have any questions please feel free to ask I will do my best to answer.

I'm an experienced leisure photographer with a quality DSLR but I've never used an action camera before. I'm not a cyclist, surfer or action man so I couldn't justify spending hundreds on a top notch camera without assessing whether I would get sufficient use for my filming requirements ie. holidays and filming my grandchildren splashing in the paddling pool. The X20 was in the middle ground price wise so I can assess and gain experience without being worried about losing or breaking it. Additionally there's no worry if the children want a turn at filming. I've only had it a week so haven't had chance to test the underwater function yet or extended trials on the numerous options.First impressions are very positive. It's entirely plastic but looks well put together and relatively easy to use - the buttons function with short or long presses so at first it's a bit of trial and error achieving what you actually want to do. The touch screen is very easy to use but obviously cannot be used when in the waterproof housing - here the buttons are required. When in the housing the sound is poor to non existent. However an additional housing door is supplied which has slots cut out so the microphone can pick up ambient sound better, which it does. When not in the housing the sound quality is satisfactory - but note there is no wind filter so wind noise maybe an issue. There is no socket to connect an external microphone. The slotted housing allows the camera to have some protection from dirt and the odd splash but is not for underwater use. Note the remote (which has a wrist strap) isn't waterproof. The camera accepts a 64GB Micro SD card.Although described as 4K this is not native and is achieved through interpolation of the 2K mode. I made short movies at all three resolutions and frame rates 4k/24, 2K/30 and 1080/60fps, all were very reasonable considering it's January in the UK and light is not at it's brightest. It was a limited test but I couldn't see much difference on my iMac screen - could be my age. They looked really good on an iPad sized device. I will probably stick with the 1080 as it has the highest frame rate of 60 fps and should be better for fast moving kids. As expected films and pictures shot in low light were poor, but this is standard for cameras with small sensors.I don't use the time/date stamp function as it makes everything look like a police video. This is not a problem as EXIF data is exported with the movie or picture which gives date, time, dimensions, size, exposure time etcI'd read on another review that changing the battery caused the date and time to be lost and therefore tediously had to be reset manually. This is not the case - I removed the battery for about six minutes and the date/time was still good when the battery was refitted. I don't know how long it holds the information but certainly long enough to change to a fresh battery. The batteries have to be charged in-camera via a standard USB socket (lead is supplied). The camera will still work whilst being charged so this permits extended time-lapse etc. it could also be charged from a battery pack carried in the pocket. A stand alone charger and two batteries cost about £10.Customer support is also good - I had a query and contacted them by email and they responded within 24 hrs.The instruction manual is not the best. The contents are ok, a bit succinct, but the problem for me is the size. The text is very small and the illustrations are smaller still. It was a strain trying to read it.A previous model of this camera came supplied with a bespoke carrying case for the camera and accessories. It would have been nice for this to have been included still.Overall this seems a good camera at this price point and comes with numerous clamps, brackets, sticky pads and velcro - Gopro compatible.

Hello,I usually don't write reviews, but since Amazon and the seller of this camera are encouraging buyers to share their objective opinion, I wrote one to give you an insight on what to expect. The camera struggles a bit in the low light conditions. The video resolution I find myself shotting with the most is 1080p 60fps, because it's not a real 4k camera, and I like the buttery smooth movements. It does a fair good job at taking videos in good conditions. For the price you pay, you get a solid image quality. The pictures in good light do look ok, but I wouldn't use it for such purpose as most smartphones or dedicated cameras take better photos than this action camera, it does struggle in low light to take photos, unless the camera is mounted on a tripod and the object you're taking picture off is not moving.Secondly, the overall build quality is kind off what you would expect from this price point. It does look pretty to the eye, furthermore it is very light in the hand. However, you can feel the plastics, it doesn't have that premium feeling a 300£ can give you, but hey, you aren't buying a camera for that purpose are you?The touch screen is nice, it does work smoothly even with the protective foil it comes with (as seen on the picture) so I do not plan on removing it until absolutely necessary. Moreover, the little box is packed with accessories, but if you need a head/torso mount or a tripod, you definitely need to buy the go pro accessories bundle for ~12£. What is more, you get 2 batteries included, but no dedicated charging dock, and the battery life is somewhere around the 45 minutes if you record constantly, thus I highly recommend you buying a 2batteries and a dock bundle for 10£ if you're planning to do a whole day trip, and/or choose it as one of the gifts that the seller will send you for free. The bottom doors that keep the battery safe are also somewhat hard to open, so it can be a bit frustrating to open it up at first.Overall, it is a solid buy if you're on a budget. Not only does it include a good and quite bright touchscreen, which isn't the best resolution one around, but also the touch responsiveness, easiness of menu navigation and a little front screen which shows you the current recording time and battery left, so something you don't usually see in other action cameras at this price point. The tripod screw thread on the bottom part is a bit shallow so be wary of that. If you're looking for something premium, opt for a yi 4k cam or an expensive gopro, but if you are looking for a easy to use budget friendly camera with okay video qualify and some accessories it will satisfy all of the amateur needs.

This tiny action camera from Campark is really the dog's whats-its.These camera have become incredibly popular in recent times, as they are tiny and easy to carry everywhere. They are usually described as 'action camera' as they have fast shutter speeds and good video quality to allow you to catch fast moving subjects in sports. Most of these (cheaper) cameras I have seen have been ok, but stuck with 1080p resolution and cheap back screens with confusing buttons. This all singing, all dancing model is different. You can take 4K video (only at 24 fps though), and the stills can go up to 20 MP. And best of all, the back screen is finally a touch screen, which makes navigating the menus so much easier. The camera does not come with any storage on board, or an SD card, but micro SD cards are really cheap these days, so it shouldn't matter too much.As I said, you can take still pictures up 20 20MP, which makes them great for landscape shots as you can zoom in with minimal loss of detail. The video quality is ok, but 4K at 24 fps is not as good as 1080p at 50 fps (in my opinion). I have tried to include a sample of both for comparison, but Amazon will only allow one video per review. The video of the dogs is 1080 at 50 fps. The photos are both 20 MP.You get a nice semi hard case, plus a massive amount of accessories, mounts, sticky pads, and a fully waterproof case for shooting underwater. However, when the camera is in this case, you obviously cannot access the touch screen, but the button on the front allows you to cycle through all the modes, so minimal problems there. You also get a little remote control unit. The battery with the camera is only 150 mAh, so it might be an idea to take 2 or 3 along for a day's fun. Other cameras I have tried of this type have come with a spare battery in the case, so a bit disappointing not to receive a spare here. Charging the battery took about 2 hours. To get the photos off the camera, you can take the SD card out and stick it in your computer, or WiFi transfer is included. To use the WiFi with your phone is a bit complicated (well it was for me anyway). You have to create a new wifi connection to the camera, then download the 'CamKing' app (for Android, not sure about iOS), and view your pics on your phone. You can then download them to your phone, and finally I uploaded them to Google Photos to access them on the computer. Long winded, but once set up it works ok.A really nice camera, good quality capable of some very good shots/videos, and small enough to take around in your pocket. Thanks for listening.

I bought the Campark X20 Action Cam as an upgrade. My original rollei action cam was quite heavy, bulky, had a poor battery life and video resolution was only 720p. Plus to use wifi I had to attach a special unit that required it's battery charging before use. This was very inconvenient and fiddly. I rarely used it because of these negatives. The Campark X20 is a great improvement in every department. It is small and compact, even in the waterproof case. There are no back attachments as everything is built in. The batteries last well over an hour each and are small and light too. The touch screen makes the cam very easy to use and the inclusion of all the accessories means after charging the batteries the cam was ready to use instantly.I didn't really need to refer to the manual as the onscreen display was easy to understand and use.The cam is compatible with all standard GoPro-style accessories so there is no dedicated accessories to buy, which means there are lots of cheap mounting systems available no matter where in the world you may be. I haven't used the cam underwater but the waterproof case looks to be well constructed and the back is close fitting so I don't expect any problems with leaks. I would always use a little silicone grease around the seal and dive with the empty case before risking my cam. If the sealed empty case doesn't leak you know the cam will be safe. I would also use an anti-fog insert in the case when diving. If it's your first time using the cam underwater then check out the internet for tips & guidance on underwater photography. It will be time well spent. As far as using the cam is concerned I tend to use the 1080p 60fps settings rather than the 4K 24fps as it provides an excellent image and reduces file size. Plus I own a 1080p TV and have no immediate plans to go to 4K yet. That said, I am glad the X20 can shoot in 4K as it future proofs me for a good while. I am very impressed with the 20MP still image function, which allows me to instantly capture a very large image (42x34cms @300dpi) which is a bit bigger than A3. I also like the fact that the shots and video can be taken in wide angle or narrow angle because it means I can avoid the usual fish eye distortion with little fuss.Overall I am pleased with my purchase. The cam ticks all the right boxes at it's price point and unless you want to shell out hundreds a of £'s more for a luxury brand then this cam will do very nicely, thank you.

So far I’m pretty happy with this camera (I’ve had It a week). It replaces a 3 year old £30 action camera that I picked up. I’m very happy with video quality compared to my old action cam. I mainly record in 1080p HD, and don’t have equipment to display 4K footage, so can’t really comment on the quality. Though as far as I understand the footage is interpolated, that’s to say that it is basically upscaled to 4K. To get true 4K footage you’re going to have to buy the X30 instead.Mostly I will use this to record footage when I’m on my motorbike and some low light footage. In both cases I’m really happy with the quality of the footage. I’m not expecting GoPro quality or the features, but for my money this is better value at least a ¼ of the price. So I’m more than happy to make the compromise, I’m not willing to spend £300+ on a camera that I only occasionally use.One point to note is that the video container file format of this camera is .MP4 rather than the often used .MOV (an apple video format). My previous camera was in .MOV format and was a real pain. I was often uploading videos to Facebook to document a trip I was part of… first I had to transfer the files from the memory card to my phone with a microsd usb card reader, then because Android would not recognise the .mov format the file would just appear in the phone gallery as a blank file. This meant that Facebook could not view then upload the file to my page. Cue me having to use a file convert app on the phone. As you can imagine it took a lot of my time up (and phone battery) The Campark as mentioned uses the .MP4 file container format, so it imports into the phone display properly in the gallery and makes the process a whole lot easier. You can also upload directly from the camera to your phone via the ‘Camking’ app (I prefer using a card reader myself)Sadly I would have preferred to pay the extra and buy the X30 instead, but this model does not include the Wi-fi remote control wrist strap. I was informed by support at Campark that the wrist strap from the X20 won’t work with the X30 either. So any remote control of the camera must be done via the phone app. For me this is not an option at all as I need to be able to just press a button to start recording whilst on the move (the remote is mounted on my handle bars). Having my phone in my hand or mounted in front of me to operate the app is simply not an option (or safe)

Bought this for multi-use, and have so far used it as a Dash cam, Cycle cam, DIY Cam (poked though hole to look under floor boards whilst viewing live on phone via wifi) and as body mounted cam & on selfie stick when out walking in the countryside. For all these uses it works really well, I don't have another similar camera to compare it against but for it's price I have not been disappointed.I was surprised by the number of mounting accessories it came with, however some instruction on how to mount/use some of them would be beneficial, e.g. I still have not worked out how to attach the wire loop to the camera. The Bike/tube mount would benefit from being a little larger,it only just fitted the thinner part of my handle bars. One item I thought should have come with the camera but sadly doesn't is a small lightweight cloth bag/pouch to put the camera in to keep it clean / prevent scratches to the lens & screen when in your pocket etc.It has lots of functions / settings, which I have not tried all of yet, I have used the rotate option to use the camera when mounted upside down and occasionally have had an issue with the controls getting confused e.g. the screen picture has rotated but the controls have not, you press a button at the top of the touch screen but it instead activates one on the opposite side, but this has only occurred on a few occasions. An auto rotate or quick rotate short-cut option would have been great for when switching mounts on the go, as currently you have to navigate the settings menus to rotate it.The remote control works well, although you are sometimes not sure if it has worked if you can't hear the camera or the sound is turned off.I have used the android app to view live and retrieve images and videos via wifi and this works quite well even though the recommend app is from a 3rd party with Chinese writing on some of the prompts / buttons etc.I have rated 4 star, but probably would have given 5 stars if some of the above points were addressed. Overall a very good camera for the money and would recommend to others.

I bought this Campark X20 having also recently purchased an AKASO EK7000 primarily for use when mountain biking and for ski trips with the family. This camera was about £30 more than the AKASO but having used both I think it's worth spending the extra.Firstly the Campark X20 has a nice high reolution capacitive touchscreen compared to the lower resolution non touchscreen on the AKASO. There's also a nice responsive and fairly modern looking user interface with much more control and settings to play with than the cheaper camera. There's also the second LCD screen on the front which stays on after the main screen shuts off with power saving so you can still see if its recording and check battery level etc without needing the main screen.Another is the tripod screw mount in the camera body itself for attaching to a hand grip etc. The EK7000 needs clipping into a supplied frame or the waterproof case to give a screw thread mounting location. Finally, which is a biggie for me, is the inclusion of image stabilisation that from initial testing seems to smooth out handheld footage quite well so should make a significant improvement to bike and ski videos. To give some balance there's two minor negatives I think I should mention. Firstly unlike the EK7000 and most others, it doesn't come with a charging dock for the battries so have to be charged one by one via the camera USB port unless you buy a separate charger. Also some earlier reviews show a carrying case included with the pack but that's no longer included it would seem, which is a shame.Overall though I'm really pleased with this little camera, I've never owned a GoPro etc to compare it but the video quality seems to be very good in my eyes. Each battery lasts almost exactly an hour solidly recording 1080p/60 which although not brilliant, is sufficient given there's two in the box. The accessory kit supplied is a little smaller compared to the AKASO but the main accessories are included, the wrist remote is particularly useful and seems to work well.

Camera arrived promptly via Amazon Prime. It was well packed and further protected by the underwater housing. It comes with a box of accessories, a remote control and two batteries.Unfortunately it turned out that the original camera I received was faulty, so I was unable to test same. I contacted the manufacturer and they sorted it out immediately.I have now used the replacement whilst Mountain Biking in the most difficult of weathers. Taken it up to 5000 meters in altitude and underwater to 40 meters. I have also used it for time lapse and as a Webcam. I also love the slow motion feature, which will slow the action down in increments, to one eight of normal speed.I have to say that it performs beautifully and I am very impressed.with it's adaptability. I also have a GoPro 4, but I now use the Campark all of the time because I find the touch screen and user friendly interface super easy to use, plus I love having display for on the spot review of what I am filming so I can make adjustments with confidence on the flyThere are a few negatives though. In the hand it feels somewhat cheap with it's plastic body. I suppose they have to cut corners somewhere to produce a product with this capability at the price point, but I feel they could do more to make it feel more like a premium camera. The biggest weakness from my perspective though, is the flimsy battery door. This really lets the camera down. It's just two tiny prongs and a press fit. So easy for these to break or to get dropped when changing the battery. Even cheaper cameras I have seen use a hinge and metal clasp. I would much prefer if they only supplied one battery or no accessories and a much better door!.That aside I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this manufacturer's cameras to anybody considering buying an Action Cam at a fraction of the price for an official GoPro. It's a lot of camera for the money.

I wanted a half-decent, small, outdoor camera, mainly for time-lapse videos. The main brand camera of this type is far too expensive for me, so I read many different reviews of similar cameras. This one seemed to represent good value for what it offered, and was even better when it came on a limited time offer on Amazon. The camera is indeed very small and light. The rear touchscreen screen takes up almost all of the rear of the camera, and responds well to touch. The menu system is simple and easy to use. The front screen shows very basic info such as video time and basic battery information. There are 4 external buttons. The memory card, mini USB, and HDOut sockets are on the side. The battery compartment is on the bottom, and there is a standard size tripod thread. It comes with external housing to make it waterproof, though this prevents the touchscreen from being used, or from power being plugged in. You can still press the 4 external buttons with the case on. Battery life is approx 90mins on video, and it comes with 2 batteries. However, this can only be charged in the camera unless you purchase a separate charger. It comes with a variety of brackets, though I'm not sure what most of them would be used for! Picture/image quality is pretty good, though not as good as you get from a half-decent camera phone. Pictures look good in the right light, but it struggles to get the right exposure if facing the sun. The fish-eye wide view can be corrected in camera to give an almost normal image, but this cannot be enabled at the same time as image stabilisation.Overall, I am quite pleased with this camera given its price. I have not used more expensive cameras of this type, so I cannot compare the image quality. The example video is saved at 1280p 30fps.

I am trying to get out and about a little more and thought taking videos and photos would help and in any weather. Thus time to try some budget action cameras.I got a Yi 4K+ with gimbal which is okay but sound is very poor (worse on gimbal) but also wondered how other ones worked.I tried a £25.00 one, well two but both had control problems. Thus the A20 which of course is not True 4K but does come with a case, two batteries and a good range of accessories. The instruction manual is also better than most.No battery backup for the date so if you change the battery these have to be set again (using the touch screen) otherwise as the filenames are made from the date and time much confusion can arise. How much extra would a capacitor powered clock backup cost? The menus are pretty good but it does sometimes get mixed up when set to NTSC/PAL option giving you 1080/60 rather than 1080/50 (different setting in menu versus displayed on the preview screen). This I suspect is only a problem with my one is that the red charging LED can only be seen if you look at the camera back at a 45 degree angle from the left. Looking direct at the back the red LED cannot be seen. When recording, the display only seems to give you the recording time of the current file segment rather than the total record time.It also only has mono single channel sound with no option for an external microphoneOverall, for under £60.00 it is not bad buy, all you need is a quality MicroSD card e.g SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC Memory Card + SD Adapter with A1 App Performance up to 100MB/s, Class 10, U1 and a USB charger and you will be good to go.Note: If you want true 4K recording rather than interpolated 4k you need to spend another £40.00 or so and may not get a touch screen.

As a complete novice to photography I bought this camera for a trip we are going on to Iceland. I wanted a waterproof camera for when we swim in the Blue Lagoon. Firstly I tried it in the hot tub, It has a specific function for underwater photo's & video which makes the light right for the application, both the underwater and normal settings produced very good photo's and video's.Although it doesn't say it in the information I found that it would zoom in & out slightly by pressing the buttons on the side.I have set it up in the garden on the motion detection setting and had fun watching the birds flying in & out to the feeders and bird bath and the various squabbles that have taken place.I have very limited experience setting up wifi connections, but with some help from an on line site I managed to download various files to make the Camking work on my Kindle. Although the Kindle said that there was no connection once you open the app it all works very well. I have managed to take both video and photos from the kindle from about 20 feet away from the camera. The remote control also works up to 20 feet away. The instruction booklet, although basic is good enough to get even a novice going. It comes with a selection of bits for connecting to your bike etc, some of which I have no idea what they are used for, but i'm sure it would become apparent when you have the need, I just wish that it came with the more obvious connectors i.e. selfie stick, body harness.Overall this little camera is amazing value for money & I cannot believe how much it can do and how easy it is to use.

If you are looking for a budget GoPro alternative, look no further. For the price of this camera, it is feature packed with a good quality picture both still and video.Touch screen controls and menu are intuitive to use.Feels well built and robust. Comes with 2 batteries included which is good as the only downside I could find was the battery life but as you can buy 2 extra batteries with a dual charger for as little as £8 its not the end of the world.I purchased this to use on an up-coming holiday to Cape Verde where I will be scuba diving and snorkelling and wanted a good video camera for the under water shots and this was cheaper than a GoPro and cheaper than a waterproof housing for my digital SLR camera.Comes with a waterproof housing rated to 30 meters which suits my needs, also comes with various mounting brackets and straps.Additional info screen on the front is a nice touch and microphone / sound quality is good too.I could not justify £300+ on a GoPro but £75 for this gem of a camera is well worth it and I would definitely recommend it.If I did have to find a down side it would be the 4K video claim, the camera will only record in a max 2K resolution, which is still better than 1080p and the footage is then up-scaled to 4K, no big deal and to be honest, when the footage is played back on my 55" 4K tv it still looks crisp and smooth and the little camera does an outstanding job with its image stabilisation. All in all a great bit of kit for under £80. Gets a big thumbs up from me.

I had need of an action camera to take still photographs with and could not justify the cost of the brand leader that has the letters g and p in their name. I researched other less expensive brands and was not impressed with the specification. Then I saw the Campark X-20 advertised on Amazon. I decided to take the plunge and ordered one. It was delivered the next day and I couldn't wait to open the package. I am a photographer and have a collection of high quality digital cameras so I know what to look for in a piece of equipment. I was immediately impressed with the quality feel of the camera. The controls are not flimsy and feel business-like.Plus the good selection of accessories supplied did not feel cheap and nasty like some I had seen. The camera was easy to set-up and I took a couple of test photographs whilst walking the dog and they accompany this review. When I returned home an downloaded the photographs to the computer I was immediately impressed with the image quality. Even when zooming them up there was minimal pixilation (blockiness). I have not recorded an video clips as yet but if the quality of the still photographs are anything to go by I will not be disappointed. I am now looking forward to exploring the other features of this neat, little camera. I think that it definitely warrants the five stars that I have awarded it and can thoroughly recommend it,
