Ideal key ring torch tough bright small and light.I've had one for sometime stands up to being dropped and knocked about also stands up to getting wet but I've never drowned one.Bright for a key torch clearly lights up in the dark an area of a circle with a diameter of about 3to4metres with a brighter bit in middle.adequate for walking jogging and as an emergency cycling headlamp. It's small enough 2"by 1/2" and light enough an ounce or 28gms/8 x1p pieces to be comfortably held in your mouth making a versatile head torch, you can hold it between your fingers as you'd hold a cigarette useful on a cycle. I have a quick release dog lead type key ring so I can release it really quickly and easily. The batteries are LR44 decent quality ones are not too expensive online you can buy the cheaper multi packs of about 20 batteries from discount stores but only 4 will fit.Battery life is pretty good but I always keep spares it does start to dim for a while when batteries are dying when changing the batteries take the back off, empty old batteries and lower the torch over a three stack of prearranged button side up lr44's it's easier than putting them in one at a time because they turn over and can be fiddly.Tiny bit of vaseline on the two threads is good makes easier on/off .Don't stretch the spring because I broke my first one doing it managed to fix but it was never really right I also broke the tiny eyelet on the back cover by holding my bunch of keys in my hand and using my teeth to turn it on,hold the torch in one hand and turn the lens cap with the other is the best way but that can be awkward with your hands full. The switching is the only feature where it doesn't score a 10 I had a very similar leatherman torch, not as bright, more expensive but featured a neat on/off switch, but I lost that.I like my gadgets but it really is a very useful Value For Money item and I'll always own one.I hope this will be useful and I really hope that that everyone who reads this and wants one can afford it.The reason that I've reviewed.this is that there's nothing on TV, it's blowing a gale(almost) so me,my dog my,my T2 and my really exceptional T7 can't go out for a walk and I'm bored.Good luck! It’s rare I write a review, however this is the second K2 torch I now own (the first is still working perfectly!).My first K2, I’ve used it on multiple multi-day expeditions and hikes, never failed me. What’s more impressive, this thing lived around my neck for 8 months of military training.. it’s crawled with me through streams, bogs, mud, dirt cold, and hot weather, and held up just fine. Used primarily as a map reading torch for night navigation (sticking some duck tape over the end, and making a small pin hole for the light to get through). The batteries it came with have lasted nearly 2 years, somehow.Bought my second K2 from this supplier, as I needed another for a different kit bag.Taken on a few overnight hikes/camps so far, working just as good as the first! Can’t recommend enough.Couple of reviews saying the way to turn it on is with the battery end cap - this wasn’t an issue for me at all. As mentioned, it’s been put through it’s paces harder than most would be able to test it, and I’ve had no issue with that. Will probably buy a couple more, as when you find it good bit of kit that you know works, would recommend stocking up.

The best little torch I've had and I did a lot of research before settling on this one. I think it's pretty much the best one you can buy at the moment for a sensible price. You twist the cap to turn it on, however if you twist it just enough you can also pull down on the head to turn it on. Extremely bright, very wight light, good spread angle, very uniform spread of light, very useful for walking in the dark or lighting up a decent area your working on.Feels very well made and tough, just the right size, not to small to hold. It came with batteries... which I wasn't expecting (I bought additional batteries) - uses 4 x AG13 batteries (smallish flat round ones)- the torch is only a little thicket than the batteries. There is a little piece of gold/copper coloured metal that sicks out of the side of the bottom screw on cap, initially I thought this was some manufacturing error poking through the join... I now think it holds the spring/coil into the bottom cap. After a bit of a wiggle, it does not noticeably poke out.

I read the reviews for this little torch and thought that people were opening the wrong end and that why the batteries are falling out. Turns out the one I received would not turn off unless battery end was slackened and would ultimately come loose.i'm an engineer and thought I'd have a look at what was going on.Turns out the bad reviews are warranted, there is a manufacturing fault that is fixable. On the end with the LED there are two electrical contacts, one in the centre and one at the side (Pictured)The one at the side is sticking out too far and is making contact with the threads and therefore completing the circuit and turning on the torch.I used a small, jewellers flat head screw driver to push the wire back into the white recess. Now the torch only turns on when LED end is fully tightened. The battery end should be tight all the time and only opened to change the batteries.Hope this helps others as it works brilliantly once this is done, hopefully the manufacturer will address this.

DESIGN======The torch looks much like the rest of the LED Lenser line. Nice and rugged, yet quite simple really. It's a bit more chunky than other small keyring torches however. Depending on how big your keyring is though you probably won't notice. Operation of the torch is by twisting the end. No button operation I'm afraid. This is probably quite useful though, as I imagine buttons could accidentally be switched on when in a pocket.BRIGHTNESS==========As can be expected, this torch is bright! Like most LED torches the bright white light diffuses quite quickly, and is easily overpowered in daylight, but at night time it's rather impressive. It's also bright enough to be quite painful to look straight at!CONCLUSION==========I'm pretty happy with my K2. It does the job and I know I can rely on it. It's not the cheapest of keyring torches, but I doubt there are many better prices torches out there that perform so well!

I got a few of these to put in crackers as extra pressies. Size-wise this torch is about the size of my little finger (it uses four 'watch batteries' rather than AAAs etc.). Well made and small enough to fit into most pockets with keys, but could be slightly fiddly for the elderly or people with gloves to operate. Its bright enough for most people to use in pitch darkness for walking... certainly brighter that the (moderately bright) one on my smartphone, but the 20m range claimed is pushing it!Even with an LED (low power consumption), the small batteries will limit usage of this to an 'occasional'/emergency torch, and even then you may want to consider getting some extra batteries from Amazon as they tend to be expensive in Hight-street shops.

I would recommend this product and this seller unreservedly - the LED lenser K2 is an outstanding item in the excellent range from this company - clean clear and bright light; quality build and excellent performance for its size. Somewhat nervous about buying Lenser products given the number of fake items hanging around the Internet, but this product is the real deal, and did not disappoint.Bought as a last minute surprise extra for my sons 18 th birthday, to use as a lanyard lorch for his rucksack on scout hikes ( he's just been granted his leaders warrant) - I ordered the torch on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday morning ( bang on time ) well wrapped and in excellent condition.Nice one!- might order another for myself....

LED Lenser make great, robust torches. I have a few in different sizes but keep this one on my keyring as there’s no lighting in my communal hallway This torch may be tiny but it provides a really good level of light given the size!My keys get chucked in my bag every day and the torch has never turned on accidentally or come apart. The batteries also last for absolutely ages.I was baffled to see negative reviews but realise some people have been twisting the wrong end to turn it on and off. You need to twist the end of the torch where the bulb is, not the end where the batteries are otherwise obviously the batteries will fall out! Please let me know if you found this review helpful by clicking the button below.Thank you.

I am an NHS lone-worker, who uses this when out and about. It is essentially very robust and the light is strong enough for what I require..but..I keep my keys in my back pocket and have found it in pieces in my pocket on more than one occasion. This is due to the screw-on mechanism to turn the light on and off. If screwed on tight, the light stays on and when unscrewing it even a little, this results in the screw loosening and the main torch and batteries falling out, in time. Had it turned on via button activation, I would have used a small amount of clear nail varnish on the main housing screw to keep it together, but am obviously not able to do this. Hence 4 stars.

A tough little torch that lives on my key ring and gets used for a full range of low light situations. Small enough to fit in your pocket and saves having to get my phone out and fiddle around for the torch app. Please ignore any reviews that say this torch falls apart or that the batteries fall out. It's never failed me in over six months use. The reason some reviewer's have had issues is down to user error. If you try to turn on and off by twisting the battery end cap then it will fall apart. Simply hold the body of the torch and twist the lens end to operate. This will be quite stiff to use the first time, but will become easier with use.

Great little torch there where some bad views on this on the comments before buying it great vaule of money, only down fall is amazon lied about the battery life it has four hours battery life which is good easy to switch on and off don't seam why some say its hard to twist to turn in and off when it's not hard at all!Easy to attatch to keyrings gear performance in the dark and in small tight cramp spaces, as I use many torches you see underground exploring old abandoned mines and tunnels but will at to see the performance using it in the time being. Highly recommend buying this Flash light :)

I have this Ledlenser torch attached to my work keys. Although a lot of the black paint has worn off, the torch has lasted well (even with daily use on a set of keys). Battery life is good and I have not needed to replace them after 6 months of use. The light output is quite bright and concentrated, which means it is great for looking under furniture. The twist to operate on/off feature works well, and I have not experienced any accidental activations.Overall I am very pleased with this torch. It is made well, looks good, and is nice and compact on my work keys!

Fantastic little LED torch! Bought this for a spare torch not wanting something huge, just something to fit on a keychain. When the product arrived I was surprised by how compact it was, yet how bright the light was! This little torch is brighter than many normal sized torches I've used. The build quality is good, and it's quite easy to turn on and off by twisting the base. It is light enough to carry on your keychain and durable too. This is a must have, you can take it anywhere and it is more than bright enough to light the way. Very impressive!

Very handy, only had it a couple of days and needed a little tourch to unblock the washing machine the water would not drain out so opened the filter at the bottom front corner, unscrewed the fiiter cap.had my keys on me (so no looking around for a torch like i would normally do ) I had to shine it into the filter drain and at the same time get a long screwdriver and turn the popeller type thing at the back it was stuck , it was a nail nust have been in my work trousers, washer fixed in no time so very pleased with it .

A great little light. I attached it to my key ring and it has proved invaluable on several occasions already. For those saying the batteries fall out whilst it is being turned on I'd suggest you are twisting the wrong end of the light. The rotational light operation switch is at the other (lit) end of the flashlight. If you turn the wrong end the batteries come out, as it is designed to do for replacements. The switch end has enough resistance that it has never turned on accidentally. LED Lenser products are great.
