Very strong & stable - holds my Canon 5DS plus 100-400 USM L zoom with no problems at all.Particularly good when you need to keep changing the camera quickly to a different angle, such as portaiture or architecture - much less fiddly than a ball head, and faster than a pan/tilt head.Strongly made and easy to handle.This version has the Arca plate, which is very useful, although it does take more than the usual number of turns to fix/unfix the camera.
