This is a well made, clearly marked ballhead. It operates smoothly and the levers rather than knobs are easy to operate. Unfortunately there is a large amount of upwards movement when you tighten the ball so you need to compensate when framing. I have another much cheaper head which has much less movement than this so it is a major disappointment. The price is mid market and more expensive models don't have the movement issues. Cheaper models are less well finished. As ever you pays your money and takes your choice.
