It is light, wow. The cheap ones on eBay are not the same, the real ones on general sale in the UK are made from Magnesium, hence the price, around £179, the ones on eBay are made from aluminium and weigh a lot more, and their price £100ish. Found one on eBay advertising Benro GH3WD .....magnesium, but when you opened up the description it said Material: Aluminium!! Just one thing, if using with a tripod similar to the Gitzo Systematic range then you need the adaptor to lift it as some control knobs are actually below the base of the head. But apart from that, fantastic precision controls and very very stable, you can even tighten the controls by turning the large quick release backward,

I was on the market for a gear head and I researched all my options based on my budget and one of my requirements as Arca Swiss attachment. The head was delivered very quickly and I am very pleased with the overall quality of the head - magnesium body, light and strong, feels good and the gear adjustments are firm and very precise - ticks all my boxes and I would have no hesitation in recommending

I like it a lot, BUT, I can't find any 'L" brackets that fit, and yes I am aware that you have to pull the knob out slightly for this to happen, Benro do not seem to make these. So might have to grind down my brackets to fit, and then they may be too loose for my other heads.

OMG this has to be the best Stabiliser ever it was just amazing you will definitely not be disappointed in this purchase 100%The pinpoint precision on this is amazing
