Whilst I would argue that the imagery of using it as a cork holder is pretty useless, the functionality of the foil cutter, which is basically why we are all buying it, or looking to buy, is second to none. The four blade version provides a good clean cut of the bottles foil with little effort. The cut is smooth and clean with very little pressure required, nor a great many rotations of the bottle. Having had this since Christmas, the foil cutter remains sharp, having now been tested on a variety of both cheap and expensive bottles.

This brand of foil cutter actually works really well and seems quite robust.Only time will tell about the longevity of it.Other designs and brands have not started the course when used repeatedly.Worth paying the price for one that works!

Best foil cutter for the price you can buy - thicker foils? I just sqeeze that bit harder! In simple terms - it works quickly and easily. (I have no business interests in this item, my comments are from practical use in my own home)

This replaced a similar looking item which had 4 cutters and which broke after being used a lot (probably too much, lol!!!). While the 2 cutters means it takes slightly more work to remove the foil, it does the job at a good price.

Works extremely well. The cork rest is necessary and makes it bigger thankt needs to be however it in no wat impacts on its effectiveness and if you like something less fiddly then this is perfect for you.

Excellent find! The blades make cutting the foil off a wine bottle really quick and easy! It also has the added bonus of having a place to 'display' the cork if desired.

This is a fantastic product. Very useful and very easy to use. It takes just a few seconds to cut the foil and it comes off cleanly with no jagged edges.

Good quality product which is extremely easy to use. Requires less effort than flat model and is therefore particularly good for those with weak grip.

This conveneint small tool really helps open the foil on a wine bottle. Easy to use and more robust than one I had peviously.

Very easy to use, removes foil simply and neatly.Would recommend to anyone who likes their wine in bottles with corks.

Works well, looks good - does feel a tiny bit flimsy & the cork holding is of no use but good apart from that.

Easy to use and cuts the foil first time, unlike alternative versions I have used. Let's hope it lasts.
