I bought one of these as a Christmas Present for my father and decided to try it out, I was so impressed I bought another 4 for myself and my friends all of whom love it. This is not a gadget you will use for a week then disgard, it really does make even the cheapest red wine taste better simply by blowing bubbles into to it. Everyone knows Red wine should be left to 'breathe' for a couple of hours after opening, but lets face it who has time especially with the second bottle?...this device really works. It basically airs the wine by blowing bubbles into it with 60 seconds being eqiuvalent to 4 hrs breathing..I swear you will taste the difference.

Bought 2, 1 as a gift. Great product but had some trouble getting both of them working when applying the batteries. Managed to get both going eventually.Trick is don’t push the batteries all the way down when putting them in the device. Instead push them 3/4 of the way down and then put the lid on and tighten. This maintains the connection. Worked for both that I bought. Give the batteries a rub for good luck! :)Hopefully that helps. Let me know if so. Great product when working. Makes wine taste great.

Very happy with this product, it really does make a difference. It works particularly well when combined with the warming jacket thing (I didn't order that as I didn't think we'd use it - I was wrong! - but the seller had obviously run out of single breathers and sent the gift pack instead for no extra charge) I should add that I gave 5 as Christmas presents (all well received) which I tested before giving after reading some of the reviews here and they all worked perfectly.

Arrived promptly. This is replacing an earlier model that I had given me some years ago, which broken down on me, This madel is working perfectly well. However I did have a problem in opening the Unit to insert the batteries, this appeared be caused by the battery extraction ribbon jamming between the motot body and outer casing. I don't think this ribbon is really necessary. I am very pleased with it and it does it's job well and really does liven up the wine

I bought this as a present for a friend, and he reports that it makes a real difference to the taste of red wine, particularly improving cheap plonk. I did see it in use, and the only problem seems to be with turning it on and off - in putting it away he managed to accidentally turn it on twice and it ran for a full minute before turning off! Other than that minor gripe, this is a wonderful gadget for those who like a drop of red! x

This was bought as a birthday present for my husband he loves his red wine, I saw this and thought it was a brilliant idea as we always forget to open the wine in time enough for it to breath. It does really work he used it on a good portugese wine and what a difference there was, it certainly does bring out the aroma's and bouquet of the wine, you can taste a difference. I would recommend it, it was worth the money spent.

I had this as a present and to say I was sceptical was putting it mildly - but it does actually work. It won't make a poor wine good, but it does make it drinkable. If like us you can never really remember to heave out your red wine cork in advance it's a real boon, turning tanic nightmares into more rounded, softer plonk. A great conversation piece to ("what in heavens name is that in your wine bottle" etc.)

The batteries are very fiddly to get in as the product does not come apart very easily.Once inserted I tried several times to click the top to start the aerator to no avail. However after I had given up I tried to put it back in the box and it started. Once goping it does aerate the wine nicely although I tend to do it twice for best effect. Again putting it back in the box starts it up.

Works very well. It is cheap and as such doesn't last for ever but with the costing being what it is its great and very needed on some wines. I was in fact amazed at how well it works and how different some wines taste after use to before and I just like wine im not a serious wine drinker but i would recommend.

This is the second one of these I have bought, this ones for the brother in law as he was that impressed with how the wine tasted after using mine. Great bit of kit, only down side is the fact it can turn itself on very easy and then runs for one minute. Appart from that great, wine never tasted so good.

Got this for a christmas present. Did a before and after taste test and the difference is quite surprising. Definitely using it on every bottle from now on. Only problem I've found is it claims to auto power off but doesn't. I have to take batteries out to stop it!

The person I bought this for someone who loves his red wine and of course doesn't have the brain to open it an hour before drinking, This has solved his problem. I think it was good getting the better quality one, it will last a long time. I want one now !!

This gadget is brilliant. I have been using mine for over 2 years and everyone says they can really tell the difference in how the wine tastes. Great for impromptu guests arriving for unexpected drinks. Makes a great present for all wine drinkers.

Nice little toy. It doesnt turn a bad bottle into a good one but it does work a treat for that decent bottle of red that you fancy but dont want to wait long for it to breathe. I wouldnt pay full price for one but at this price its worth it.

I wasn't sure whether an aerator such as this was effective, or just 'one of those gadgets' until I saw my son use one, and tasted the red wine immediately after use. I then bought mine, and again can affirm to its effectiveness.
