Excellent bandwidth and signal power - it made a clear difference even to devices that were "OK" prior to its installation.Super-easy setup as a basic extender via WPS takes less than a minute and two button presses - however for those that like to tinker and customise there are plenty of options. Only slight negative of the quick setup: it makes accessing further configuration options a bit of a faff, including having to scan QR codes to install apps.For example, the blue LED lighting makes it look like an alien spaceship, but if installed in a bedroom it is too bright and it may disturb sleep. Is is possible to switch them off - including a "night mode" option that only switches them off during certain hours,

I was in a black spot in an old house with thick walls, lucky if I could get 5mb download speed in my bedroom. Now I’m regularly getting between 40mb and 80mb depending on the device.This device also works more simply than others that, for example, use the existing copper wiring in a house. This makes it far more reliable and far less likely to interfere with the signal from any other router or WiFi extender in a large house. This I tell you from experience.Whether this is your first, or you need another, but this one!

Just fitted a TPLunk Archer 5400. Needed some compatible repeaters so kept with the brand. These are superb kits. One piece of advice. Plug in, look for the unit to appear in your WiFi ssid and select it. Log in to the web interface as shown on instructions and set your needs manually. I chose to use a specific name for the 2.4 and 5ghz bands to clearly identify it. Don’t rely on your phone or tablet to select the best SSID as you move around. That’s not TPLink fault.I paid £54 and that’s excellent value.

Struggled finding info on the true range of these but this one is installed in my garden office 120ft from my router in the house. That's in plain sight - no walls! I have 2 laptops, 2 phones & printer. Shows red warning light but still works ok. Warning - the easy WPS installation gives the extender the same name as your original router which then makes fault-finding tricky. Recommend you follow the Web-browser method. This way you can give it a unique name. Also can name 2.4 and 5Ghz each.

Purchased to extend WiFi range of my BT Hub 6 in my home and to provide a hard wired connection for my Humax Freesat Box. Previously used two Comprend units for internet connection via ring main but found they fail after a few years. Setting up AC1750 was easy using WPS button on the BT Hub. My Humax Box is sited just outside BT Hub range, thus using two units in cascade - one unit extends WiFi range and the second provides me with hard wired connection. Well impressed with performance to date.

Using app to setup is the easiest. Once it is setup, you can just plug and move to anywhere there is signal. Do not use the WPS function with Virgin Media, it just doesn't work at all. I tried 3 times. Maybe my wall is solid in 1/F , there will be delay in signal in the extension when I compare the connection to the original Hub. I have checked with Pin and Speed, Speed test average result using software: Pin increased from 20 to 30ms. Speed reduced from 100MB to 50MB. Upload spend the same.

Three set up methods clearly explained in the instructions, the simplest two didn't work for our router, so we had to resort to the slightly more laborious third choice. But when set up it worked perfectly, we now have full coverage throughout the house.For ease of logging on from different rooms in the house I elected to keep the extender id the same as the main router id during the set up, this was not clearly described as an option in the instructions. Overall, very pleased, good product.

Very easy to initially set up using the app but realised after a couple of days that it wasn’t very effective on 5ghz signal for a sky Q hub. Reset it and set it up a different way by adding it using my iPhone WiFi settings and it seems more effective and reliable over 2.4ghz. I think the 5ghz problem is more of an issue with the poor sky Q WiFi to be honest, Signal is good enough to stream tv to bottom of the garden. It is physically quite large so had to think about where to put it.

After studying several reviews online, this was the model I opted for. I live in a rural area in Cornwall so fast broadband is not available as yet, this gadget doubled my internet speed instantly, I can now stream films and can get a WiFi connection in the garden, this was impossible before. My TV is ultra HD enabled, I now have no problem watching films. Well worth the money and so glad I chose this model. Was easy and quick to set up too, and I would recommend this product.

It is easy to set up, which took a couple of minutes and a couple of minutes more to find the best location. The price was good and the quality seems good also. I would have given it 5 stars but the range I feel has been over exaggerated and I'm not really getting a full signal in my workshop which is located about 50 feet from its current location. It may be that there is interference from the strip lights which I need to investigate. However I'm pleased with the purchase.

I bought this due to poor connection from my router to my living room I game and stream a lot so I need good speeds sadly the signal was so bad, But then I bought this little gadget that was so simple to use:Plug into wallDownload appFollow instructions on the appIt was so easy, And due to the Ethernet port that can be used to turn the extender into a single WiFi or to use for your laptop console etc is amazing I use it for my PS4 for streaming and gaming online.

I previously had an alternative WiFi extender but it didn’t perform to the standard I wanted. I would get an output of around 15-20 mbpsSince switching to this extender I am now getting outputs of 100mbps+ which is phenomenal. Gaming is so much smooth and connection is more reliable. The only thing I would change if I could would be the size, whilst it is quite thin it is also rather tall. Setup was a breeze and can easily be managed via a downloadable app! 10/10

.. this unit is a little large when taken out of the box, but it has been one of the best products I have purchased that actually works! The instructions are not the best, but if you take your time setting it up, it works a treat, loads of settings in the 'Tether' app menu that you need to download from the App Store, but I found it easier to set up via a Laptop, then adjust the settings via the app. The range is excellent, using 2.4 or 5Ghz

I bought one of these for extending the wifi down into my garden. The range on this is phenomenal, especially if setting up from wifi only. However to get the most performance out of this I used an ethernet connection down the garden and now we get our full promised speed from our provider 24/7!Extremely impressed and definitely worth the money. Would extremely recommend to anyone looking to get better coverage within their home/garden!

Before complaining this device you should better know the 2.5G and 5G signal strength and also should installed it good signal area from your Modem/Wi-Fi Router. It is not boost WI-Fi internet speed, it is whatever speed you have your Wi-Fi router just extend the range far end. 5G signal faster but can’t cross more then two wall. If you want to good performance, should install in strong signal and less signal interface area.
