This piece of kit is really good when up and running. Here’s a tip that I used, just open the box, plug it into the wall socket, put the aux cable straight into your router and other end into the device and wait a while. After about 2 hours remove the aux from the devices unplug the device from the wall, simply walk into the furthest wall socket away from the router (like another room) just plug it in and away you go!! Then to test it’s working get a mobile preferably an iPhone’ click on WiFi settings switch off the WiFi on your iPhone then back on, look for the name of the device then choose the new device, it will ask for a password!!

I needed to boost the wi-fi signal, from BTHub3 in the hallway, for my laptop in the extension at the side of the house. I'd previously been using an ethernet connection via the mains, using BT boxes, but this became increasingly unreliable and in the end was unusable. Hence I was a bit skeptical of the wi-fi Extender claims. However, I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised and impressed. The set-up is pretty straightforward, once you've got the hang of it, and the improvement in signal strength is dramatic (I've gone from 1-bar to 4/5 bars on the laptop icon).I sited the Extender at approx the halfway point between hub and laptop (the only convenient point really)

My house is quite large and with the router being at the front of the house I was getting no signal in the rear part of my house. I bought this BT Wifi extender just to see if it makes any difference and I was amazed. I have previously bought a different brand wifi extender but it didn't work for me but I'm really glad I made this purchase. It's range was so good that I went and bought another for upstairs and also recommended my family who were facing similar problems to purchase this item too.

Bought this so that I could view NOW TV in the new extension off the kitchen. My Broadband hub has to be upstairs in the front bedroom due to that being the main telephone point in the house and Broadband did not extend to the new extension. Plugged it in, followed the instructions and "hey presto" full broadband where I need it.. Worked straight out of the box and now I can stream movies and use my laptop where I couldn't before. Brilliant product at a great price. Definitely would recommend.

I tried to link this with a TalkTalk wifi router and almost gave up. The early indicators suggested that the two were not compatible, however, I did persevere with the instructions and I'm pleased to say it has been worth the effort. The boost that this unit gives my wifi signal means that with the router on the ground floor and the extender on the 2nd floor, I now get an uninterrupted signal three floors up in the loft. Follow the instructions to the letter and you'll be glad you bought this.

We were having trouble with buffering when trying to watch streaming TV downstairs in the house (our modem is upstairs). Since installing the wi-fi extender we have had no problems. I would definitely recommend this product. The only issues I had was in pairing it with the modem. Firstly, it took me a while to figure out that the light on the front is also the pairing button. Secondly, my modem couldn't detect it, but I was able to pair by using my laptop as per the instructions in the guide.

I was looking for a cheap no frills extender and ended up with the BT model. Once setup and working operates well giving a further 30 m coverage down my garden from the extender.Main problem is the instructions which are not clear on what passwords are expected in the setup. You have to set up the extender first to work with your router, and then use the router p/w through the extender. Auto WPS setup with Virgin media did not work. I had to set up manually with a fair amount of guessing!

It's a great product, simple set up and no problems once set up. If you need to reboot your router it reconnects automatically which is great. I would say don't worry too much if you are getting the amber light- which means it could be further from the router. Our house isn't exactly tiny and I had to move it as far as it could possibly go, literally the furthest corner of the room furthest from the route, to get the green light. Nevertheless, works great and an excellent product.

When I told my girlfriend I was extending my range, she was delighted and asked how I was doing it. Although confused that it just required a trip to Argos via click and collect she seemed happy enough and off I went. Smooth service with a smile left me with a small box and a skip in my step. Once home I plugged it in near to the main router, waited a few mins and boom. I then moved it to the outer regions of my house and now we can both get it strong, even at the bottom of the garden!

Having purchased other wifi extenders in the past I have to say for the money this BT extender is superb value for the money.I have a smart TV in the bedroom which I watch a lot of YouTube & Netflix content on & occasionally found the TV was losing connectivity to the wifi so purchased this extender which has worked admirably ever since being installed in the bedroom.Simply plug in, press the WPS button on your hub, then press the button on the extender & it'll pair job done!

I'm with BT and this extender is a BT tool........ it's great, I've just moved to a house with hefty stone walls, so have been loosing connection just outside the kitchen, with this plug in place, it's really boosted reception. I have tested it on an extension from the cellar and it can boost the signal in the garden. Thinking of putting it in a waterproof bird box for outdoor use! FGreat piece of kit and ridiculously easy set up, even if you're not with BT. Highly recommend.

The wi-fi extender works very well. It took me a little longer to install it since the first option of just pressing both WPS buttons on the extender and on the router did not work. Once I followed the instructions for the second option to connect it to my Wi-Fi network through the computer, it worked just fine. The signal strength in the bedroom we wanted to reach is very good now. I would recommend the product if looking for something efficient and cheap.

This is easy to connect and set up. Unfortunately I was unable to pair using WPS with our Virgin Media router however using my mobile to connect to the extender and pair it to the router only took a few minutes. All of the instructions are clear and concise, if you have any issues there is also a helpline which you can call (Did not need to use). Once the extender is paired to your router then you just need to find the best socket for it. Works a treat!

fast delivey recieved the next day at the time given eg withing 1 hour. The wifi extender is slightly larger than a baby monitor with the arial extended. it plugs into a mains socket for power. it is easier to setup if you connect it to a mains socket next to the computer or laptop to enter the settings which are very easy to follow. once that is done move the extender to the location you want . it has a flashing light system which is easy to follow.

Really easy to set up. If your router has WPS its usually a 'one button' press on the router and another one button press on the extender and the link is made. A bit more difficult to set up without WPS but still relatively easy. Clear and simple instruction included with the repeater to do this.There is a simple indicator on the repeater to tell you what state its in.I have has good success in connecting wi-fi CCTV cameras though these repeaters.
