Having experienced some issues setting up my my Sky Q mini box in a house with solid brick internal walls and finding the Sky WiFi extender provided worse than useless, I asked my Son for advice and he recommended this brilliant little plug and play tp link WiFi extender.Follow the instructions, set it up fairly close you your router to get a maximum connection set up, then plug into a socket between the router and rooms where your signal is poor and hey presto, a full WiFi signal in the problem rooms. Shop around for the best deals, but at £15:00 it’s a steal.

I used this for a short time wirelessly & it worked really well with no breaks in signal.After connecting to my router as an AP using a ethernet cable it is outstanding!l'm able to use WhatsApp video call about 120 feet away & send photos over 200 feet from the extender. It's a stronger signal than my router in 90% of the house even when I'm nearer to the main router my device's stay connected to the extender (not sure how that works).Used TP-link live chat to set up my AP & they were excellent.

This is the second one I have bought, one for a relative and one for my home. Does the job of extending the Wi-fi into a bedroom very well and my kitchen too. It’s easy if your router has a WPS button, I wouldn’t like to do the more complicated setup. It’s only as good as the signal it receives. In both cases I only have 2 out of 3 bars and the speed from the link is about half that of the main router. It’s solved the problem of my kitchen tv always dropping the connection to the main router.

My bedroom is located in an odd part of the house and wifi signal was very bad both upstairs and down. The device itself is small and plugs in nicely. Set up was incredibly easy, I just plugged in, pressed WPS on wifi box and it connected straight away. I found the other way of logging on via the internet confusingI am giving the rating of 4 stars because it had a couple of teething days at the beginnnig where I was connected one minute, then not the next. It is working perfectly fine now.

I have virgin media Internet and I live in a town so shouldn't really have problems with signal. I have a 3 story house and noticed the wifi was week on the 3rd floor so bought this wifi extender and plug it in on the middle floor. It is a little better but often my laptop says no internet connection. I'm not sure if its my virgin media not working properly or if it is something else. I read other review before I bought this which were mostly great so I'm thinking it could be virgin playing up.

Excellent product for extending a wireless signal, ours has always struggled in certain rooms due to solid interior walls in our house.It's easy to set up, though the WPS function didn't work with my router (to be honest I've tried my printer & other peripherals & WPS never works) & once set up it shows the strength of signal it's receiving from the router, which was very useful for finding the optimum outletOverall very inexpensive & easy way to extend your wifi network. Highly recommended.

Struggled for decent signal in rooms furthest from wifi router. Reviews for TPLInk persuaded me to buy this - and what a good decision that was. A speed test with and without the TPLink device in the furthest room shows w/o = 5mbs, with = 20mbs. I can even get a signal in my shed!Dead easy to set up either via ethernet cable or wifi (so ok for devices w/o ethernet port such as iPad or Macbook Air) and it is an elegant design. And at the current offer price it is an absolute bargain. Top marks!

My internet provider (Sky broadband) worked fine to start with: no lag but then my connection got worse. There was 'lagging' and slow download up speeds on my laptop, even though the BT broadband app showed everything was working fine.I then found out that IP providers deliberately slow up connection speeds to make you upgrade. TP-Link 300Mbps Wi-Fi Range Extender Booster, claimed to solve this problem for between £100-50 less than other products. But it works, and my problems are solved.

I wasn't expecting much from this, it was very cheap and only needed it for working from home.Overall, I'm very happy. Easy to set up, just plug in and push the WPS button to connect. Connecting my computer via an Ethernet cable plugged into the TP link (not included) I was getting 56mbps, the same as what is get connecting directly.All in all, good value for money, does what it needs with no fuss or messy set up. Ideal if you need a little extra oomph at the edges of your usual signal.

Bought this to use in villa in Spain in the hope we would get wifi on the roof solarium. Were unsure if it would work as roof is solid concrete but thought it worth a try at the price. The first set up method (the simpler one) didn't work for us due to set up of our internet system so had to go for option 2. We are 2 pensioners not particularly techie but managed to do it after a few false starts. Were amazed at the improvement in the wifi. It works perfectly on the roof solarium and elsewhere.

The intention was to place this halfway between the wifi hub and on demand tv box, as sometimes the wifi dropped out, however, placing this device behind the tv gave a strong signal for the on demand tv, and everything worked well, I bought the ethernet version, a few £ more, and I'm glad I did, I connected the ethernet lead between the box and the device, and wow selecting on demand features was virtually instant. An added bonus, we had full wifi signal for our tablet devices in the lounge.

I bought this to enable a Freeview box to connect to the internet in a kitchen. Easy to set up using either your mobile phone or using a laptop with an ethernet cable. This item also acts as a wifi booster! Well happy with this item as now I can get catch up & netflix on Freeview in the kitchen :D (ethernet cable not supplied in box). Only downside, the size of the unit, takes up a plug space on an extension stip, so had to use a plug cube to plug it in higher than the plug next to it.

I can honestly recommend this product to anyone. A lot of us are having to work from home. When I realised that my broadband connection wasn’t covering my working area, my first thought was switching to a different broadband. However, luckily I came across this on Argos and I can say, despite being a bit sceptical about it actually working. To my surprise it did and now I’m able to connect my; TV, Phone and computer (through the Ethernet slot). I am very delighted to have made this purchase.

Looked at previous reviews and, given that we have the same brand router, decided to try this rather than the more expensive alternative. It made the TV in the back room work but internet upstairs was still very poor. Some of the stuff I read said for every extender you use the power of the signal is halved so, in fear and trembling, we bought another. Seems to have solved the problem. We still have the occasional buffering, but nowhere near as bad as before. Would recommend this extender.

For less than twenty bucks this thing works a treat. We struggled to get wifi signal in the living room with the router being upstairs in the back room (even with a 200mb connection). Plugged it in next to the router and followed the easy set up instructions (literally just pressing two buttons) and then once connected relocated it to the downstairs hall plug socket . Now getting full bars of wifi signal in the living room. Also got free next day delivery from Argos. No gripes what so ever :)
