I installed a Hive thermostat a year ago and we have been plagued with signal issues from day one. The thermostat has consumed batteries every three months because it was searching continually. The signal booster took no longer than 5 minutes to set up and the results were instantly obvious. I would strongly recommend this product if you are experiencing similar issues. Great price and a great service from Argos as usual. Won’t find cheaper anywhere else.

I have Hive installed at home. I often found that the light and plug in the loft would seem to lose connection with the hub. So I purchased this booster and it works wonderfully. Now my loft is always connected. Easy to install; just plug it in, the hub looks for it and connects to it. I recommend placing this booster halfway between the hub and the item that you are having connection problems with. It simply plugs directly into a plug socket.

This has both wired and wireless booster. They have a helpline too. I have switched off the wireless on my computer WiFi, instead I am using wired signal because I am concerned of too must constant radiation from wireless signal, besides a wired signal is always stronger. It has a unique feature where you can turn on or off WIFI signal at a touch of a button.

This little plug-in device extends the Hive wireless network to awkward to reach parts of the house. It is also very useful to get a new device that is reluctant to pair connected to the Hub during installation. Just plug it in in the same room as the device, then, once the device is paired, you may be able to remove the extender and use it elsewhere.

This little gadget is hardly noticeable (roughly size of a normal plug) and instantly took all my connections from 1 bar to full across all my Hive devices. Unless you have full and strong signal to all Hive devices just get one of these for no more connectivity or drop out issues.

I had repeated problems with the thermostat losing connection, showing "no signal". Got this and so far so good, hasn't dropped out once so very happy! A doddle to set up, just add in the hive app after you plug it in and that's it, couldn't be simpler.

Connecting the booster is just as easy as installing a bulb and took all of 30 seconds. Since putting this in, none of my devices have disconnected.It is very small and discreet - in fact it is no bigger than a standard plug

The hive booster boosts the hive signal from the my house to the summer house at the bottom of my the garden. It was easy to install and fitted directly in a socket In the workshop half way between house and summer house.

Enabled my Hive Heating System components to “talk” to each other as they are quite a distance apart. Without this small device my system would not function as it extended the device range significantly.

Used to have problems with the Hive thermostat constantly disconnecting from the receiver. Since I bought the Wi-Fi extender and placed it between the hub and the receiver all the problems have gone.

HIVE kept going offline which was worrying. British Gas were very helpful and told me what to do.The task was easy and the price not too much. Even the connecting was so easy--for me.Buy one.

The signal between my hub, controller and thermostat kept dropping out. Just plugged this in and all sorted. V impressed with Argos service. Ordered at 11.00pm and picked up at 3.30pm next day.

Brilliant bit of kit. It did exactly what I wanted it to do which was to extend the Hive signal to the front of the bungalow so the Hive outsidevbulb would work with a timer schedule.

Hive kept going off line as distance from router slightly to far away. Booster has solved the problem and hive has not been off line since..so easy to use open box..plug in...done!

Made a huge difference to all my hive products, but I brought this to support my duel zone hive heating, before I kept loosing signal now its there as soon as you push the button
