The media claims for this device type (WiFi Blast) are typical American overhype. However I purchased this WiFi range repeater for £8.54 - very good price - just to check it out. My wifi router is upstairs and I positioned the WiFi range repeater directly below it on the ground floor. I was surprised at how effective WiFi range repeater is. I use a Home-plug wifi system (costing £90) to widen the wifi range in my house and this WiFi range repeater is almost as effective, at a tenth of the cost. The only downside of the WiFi range repeater system is that it does not repeat the 5Ghz router output which a lot of devices use but the available throughput at 2.4Ghz is almost as good.

This is a great little device especially for the price. It was easy to set up by following the included instructions. It took a couple of attempts to connect using the WPS method and now gives a strong signal where previously there was only a weak one. My only criticism is that it broadcasts a different SSID meaning that all devices using it have to be manually connected (just once) and also they need to be manually swapped from this device back to the main router if they are moved to a position where the main router signal is stronger, but the extender signal is still useable. Of course, it is ideal for devices that are too far from the main router and which do not move.

Seems to work fine there is an improvement in my WiFi speed at the front of the house.However it does is of no benefit to you when your internet provider reduces your internet speed. Which im sure you all know that they do. But as usual they deny doing it on purpose. (Oh It was a glitch in the system sorry i have now rectified the problim) glitch my backside who do they think there kidding.So yes i would recommend but just remember that it will not improve the wifi you receive If the speed you are currently receiving is pants.It will however make a good wifi range better. ( Reach further)

The position of my main router means that I have very little signal to my outside rooms. I bought this little box and placed it in the middle of the house. It took about 5 minutes to sort out how to use it and pair to my main router. Once that was done, I went to the furthest point of my house, logged onto speedtest and checked my speed. I then connected to the Netgear mini and checked again. The speed was doubled. My wifi is now available throughout my entire house. No more moaning children. Well, no more moaning about wifi anyway. :( . Great little thing. Highly recommended.

I took a chance on this booster, thinking the price might be too good to be true. However, now it's all set up and working, I'm very pleased with it. It has a good range and speed, and is as easy to connect to as you'd want.However, setting it up is not as easy as just pressing the WPS button. I tried that three times and nothing happened. Same went for setting it up via a tablet. My advice would be to go straight for the laptop setup. That was easy and relatively quick as long as you follow the instructions to the letter.Summary: great booster, fiddly setup.

This is a great piece of kit.We had a poor reception area for WiFi in a office we have at the back of our garage. This plugged into a socket in the kitchen near the back door and the range was plenty to get the right reception in the office. Download and upload speeds are acceptable using it.It’s quite unobtrusive and after a while you don’t see it. I have now bought another to extent out WiFi to the end of the garden.Highly recommended ?

For a few years we have been having a problem when my son plays his play station up stairs. The Wi-Fi always crashes and the games just stop or whirl and it was so frustrating for him. We changed supplier then got double speed on the fibre and nothing worked. Ordered this and straight away it cured it. He has perfect signal and the internet never goes off anymore for him. We are so pleased with it and wish we had bought it years ago!

Easy to set up, good instructions, or go on "You Tube", for very good instructions.Perhaps not as powerful as expected, but does give us a connection in rooms where there was none before. Thought that it could be situated further away from the hub, only eight yards away, any further I lose the connection. However that has proved to be far enough. Satisfied with the product, the price and very prompt deliver. Good Buy !

Great wifi booster. I wanted wifi in the sun room at the bottom of the garden. Placed the Netgear booster in the garage which is half way between the house and sun room. The wifi signal works perfectly. Should have bought one a long time ago. Solved the problem perfectly.Easy to set up just pair the router with the booster then place it close to where you need the boost. Lights turn green when picking up a signal.

I have a Ring doorbell and the picture would freeze and jump and was on the verge of paying out for higher speed internet but thought I'd give this a try first and so bought this with hope but also the same amount of doubt considering the price.....but wow I can honestly say not only has it helped with phones etc but my Ring doorbell works perfectly flawlessly.Unlucky Sky I'm saving an extra £20 thanks to this.

It took three attempts to connect via WPS but just kept doing it and link to router stabilised and is perfect for what I needed it for so very happy. Have BT home hub fast BB and signal boosted nicely. It's like I'm sat next to the router where once I was out of reach. Would recommend those who experience connectivity issues to persevere as mine didn't connect first time round.

I've brought other wifi range extenders and they were a bit tricky to set up this one took 2 minutes and ounce connected to your home router when you connect to this extender you have to use your original wifi password the other one's I've used you just connected to them no password so any one could use your wifi this is a very easy and safe extender would recommend to anyone

We now have clear uninterrupted wi fi signals in the upstairs back bedrooms where before we could barely get any signals from the router. Now the firestick TV, the tablets, phones all are receiving strong constant signals for the few weeks we have had this device. My daughter connected it online and said this was easy to do. I would recommend this product thank you ?

This product has resolved my WiFi problems. My smart TV was breaking up intermittently when I turn the TV on to YouTube I couldn't watch any of the interesting videos on youtube. I couldn't count the number of times I contacted my internet provider to try and resolve the issue of network speed but this never got resolved. Now this product has solved the problem.

This is places near our back door and extends our Wifi onto our patio (even further when the back door is open. Our Wifi is near our TV in the front corner of the house, the extender is approx 10m away and is perfect for our needs. easy to set up and once you're connected you can plug it in in any room in the house without having to change settings!
