My wifi hub is in a room that has thick external walls, so the wifi in the rest of the house is slow and patchy at best.This unit is small and unobtrusive, it does however need to plug into a mains socket direct and on a double wall socket you will struggle to use the second socker. My solution was to use a short extension lead, which also meant i could better place the extender.The instructions were easy to follow and I had the hub set up in about 15 mins. You then just need to log all your wifi phones, tablets laptops etc to it using the same password as your main wifi hub.. i now get a great signal through most of the house, well worth the money

We had a much more expensive Wifi range extender but it failed just outside of its warranty. We replaced it with the Netgear AC1200. Much simpler to set up, the instructions that came with it unlike those for previous extender made sense and it works just as well. At the moment my wife are both working from home and are managing to do conference calls and use the Internet at the same time without any problems. Only had it a few weeks so can't comment on long term reliability but so far no issues

The device works but due to the nature of our old stone-built house it still has a lower transmission than I would have hoped for. It took more than a few goes to get it to connect to devices but finally got there. It appears that radio waves don't go through stone or round corners. Saying that, it does work very well with line of sight and plasterboard walls. I will keep it as my wife does get 40% reception in her study now, so that's good enough for me. I would recommend for new build houses.

Bought to eliminate dead spots in our bungalow and it does this extremely well. Followed the instructions to link it to my Plusnet router and it took 8 minutes to set up completely with both 2.4ghz and 5ghz channels. Using the same password to sign in to the range extender as my router password makes everything easier. After set up I then moved it as close to the dead spots as I could whilst still getting both channels. I now have very fast broadband all through the bungalow. Excellent product.

Before buying this device I had a problem with a poor WIFI signal that disconnected my PC from the internet several times an hour. Once I had set up the Extender, my WIFI signal was significantly boosted (i.e. from about -70dBm to -40dBm for the technical). I now have a faster and more reliable internet connection.Setup is fairly straightforward, but needs some care. Put the extender where it can get a better router WIFI signal than your PC/ipad etc (not passing through several solid walls).

I’d purchased a freeview play box for an upstairs bedroom. Our router is downstairs. The signal strength was 1 bar out of 5 when I connected the box to the internet and playing catch up tv on it was impossible - it keept freezing, so I bought this product to see if it would help. It works like a dream. When I connected it, the signal strength on freeview play went up to 4 bars and now catch up tv plays perfectly. Only negative is the instructions - Unclear and took me over an hour to connect.

Once setup the extender its easy to use and the performance has been very good and easy to use but setup fiddly - Technicolor router - The extender is supposed to setup automatically with the existing passwords. I needed to login to my router to discover the IP address of the extender. Log into the extender and edit the password to the same as the router. After internet searches for the issue and instructions took about 30 mins to resolve, its not something my parents would be able to do!

Having WiFi in the next room it was impossible to get any connection in our room. This is because there is built in wardrobes with mirrors before our room, I looked online and this was meant to be the best and I can definitely say it is! It does say put it in a half way point for it to work but I found having it just in our room works wonders. Full internet at all times. Worth the money and so pleased with the result. I paid for same day delivery and it was perfect. Seamless connection.

To be honest this is a good product, having bought a few devices and failed to get them to work adequately so when I first installed this, it boded no better and I was on the verge of giving up with it but i found that in order for it to work good it needed to be set up manually which was a pain to say the least especially as it works better in fast lane mode (5g >2g) but you have to do this yourself. However once that was all done it performs great and i’ve had no trouble from it since

I purchased this to watch netflixs in my bedroom, which is 15m from my router. This high speed wifi extender was easy to setup. It did not work with my routers WPS button, but by connecting to the extender with my android phone could easily select the network and enter the password which allowed the extender to set its self up within minutes. It gives a strong signal and allows a fast transmission rate on my home network. Strongly recommend this compared to the cheaper "300" devices.

Netgear is a great company and has been around for years. Brought this product to extend my wife range for upstairs and outside. The product does the job and extends my wifi. Easy set up with no issues. The only issue I have notice is the download speed tends to be less than the actual router connection however this product is mainly used to extend your wifi to places where it cant reach. This product has 2 frequency where it has the 2g and 5g which is very useful. Overall I rate 8/10

Cannot fault this product. Gives me extended range for the room my wifi wouldn't reach and stays connected with good speed. I've seen people complain about these saying it doesn't work etc, it depends if you set it up right! It can take abit of patience connecting it to the router to start with, you need to plug it in next to the router, make sure booster has booted up fully and use the buttons on both devices correctly before moving it to desired location. Read instructions properly.

I was frustrated with dropping on and off my WLAN whilst in the garden, i had messed around with a couple of old Routers to try and use them to relay a WiFi signal but after an hr or so i thought it more efficient to try one of these.It was quick to set up, has a big signal boost with a number of options to tweak further if necessary, Disappointing that i had to create additional SSIDs to those on the Router but once Devices are added they switch networks as necessary.

This was easy to set up - just plug it in close to your router then press the WPS button on the unit then the WPS button on your router - the two pair instantly. You can then plug the extender in where you want to use it. The light on the front tells you whether you're picking up the wifi signal from the router so you can't go wrong. You need to remember to log your devices onto the new 'EXT' network so that your devices can automatically swap to the strongest signal.

This little gizmo transformed the wifi experience in our house immediately. We have two floors and now wifi strength is good on both of them not just one.The setting-up instructions were clear and everything worked as described. I suppose the only thing I had not anticipated was its shape. It is about the size and shape of one of those adaptor-plugs that turns one socket into three. Worth bearing in mind when considering where to site it on a permanent basis.
