We got this to put into a home-made Explorer Bag for our four-year-old son - he is fascinated by bugs and this was an instant hit. He spent most of the summer with it clipped to his jeans - the clip is only plastic but simple and sturdy enough to have survived our son's enthusiasm. I suspect the loops that the clasp and tweezers fit into will be the first things to go as they are very thin plastic, as is the hinge to the lid. However they have lasted all summer and the autumn too, so have given us out money's worth. The tub itself is small and light, which is perfect for him to carry around. It's big enough for most small bugs - anyway I wouldn't be happy to have our son carting around any that were too big for this!

These were purchased as party bag favours and are still being used long after the party. Durable, easy for little hands and in my opinion good value for money. The belt clip meant children could look for bugs hands free and the tweezers didn't fall off as they are held in place tightly. Recommend this item for both boys and girls. Very happy customer, thank you.

my daughters carry these clipped to their bags so they are always ready to spot some tiny bug. these proved to be sturdy and durable although size is a bit small, but maybe that is why they are easy to carry around every day.

Great little tubs. Not going to last forever but nice small size so kids can carry them or clip to their clothes or bag. Much fun had on many a bug hunt with them. Would be good party bag filler. C x

smaller than i realised but they are very sturdy and easy to use. the kids can view the insects with ease and love using them.

As described though the little karribeaner clip I don't imagine will last long. The pot and magnifier are good though
