Surprisingly good, given the cost!! I used to use a microscope professionally & was pleasantly surprised at what was available at this price just for fun. The feature I missed the most was having a movable stage (much easier to control than having to move the slide itself, which is inevitably rather jerky & causes you to lose your place sometimes), so highly recommended as a fun product.

I though it was not working until I watch a tutorial on how to use a microscope, I have seen a lot of reviews stating that it is not working and you cannot see anything, and the only problem is that we don't know how to use it, the only problem is the guide that came with the microscope which is really unhelpful.

Grandson loved this gift for his birthday. He collects many small items to view under the microscope. Satisfies his interest - if that grows then a more powerful microscope will be purchased.

It was a great gift to give to my daughter, she absolutely loves it, very clear lens and plenty of slides, pretty light weight, easy to operate, would highly recommend.

I have brought this item for my 7 year old granddaughter. Although I have only looked at it yet, it seems well made and suitable for the age group as a starter kit.

I bought this for my seven year old niece and she loves it. It's quite sturdy for a starter kit and the magnification actually allows her to see quite a bit.

great starter. i set up a stand to take photos with my iphone and even videoed some blood samples observing red and white cells moving around!

Grandson loved the microscope, he got soil samples to look at and a wondered look on his face emerged, it is magical.

Nice little microscope ideal for a starter, a bit awkward to set but but once you get used to it happy days.

Does what is needed I used it for checking my koi the build feels very plastic but good for the money
