In other shoes I normally wear a size 7.5 or 8. I ordered a size 8 and when I first tried them on they felt a little big, but I've worn them a few times now and wouldn't change the fit at all!I wanted a boot that was fashionable, but practical and I'm extremely satisfied with these boots. I've yet to wear them with leggings or skinny jeans, but with normal jeans they look very nice and my jeans fit over the top very well without any bulging. I'm assuming they will work perfect with skinny jeans tucked into them as well.I live in Wisconsin, am in college and walk to class every day and we recently had our first snowfall and these boots kept my feet dry and warm.

In my older age, I want boots I don't have to tie for everyday wear. I also want boots with more support than the slipper type fleece boots that are very popular. When these popped up on a Lightning deal on Thanksgiving, I saw the possibility of having ease of putting on and yet supportive. I ordered these on Thanksgiving and received them on cyber Monday. I immediately put them on to check out the fit. I wore them all evening and have them on today. They fit well - my foot is wider so I ordered a wide. They are not sloppy feeling. They feel supportive. They don't crunch my foot.Best part - I looped the laces around the boot (LONG laces) so I can just slide my foot into the boot without fussing.

Okay well the fitting was surprising. I dont usually wear wide but i got it because i knew id be wearing thick winter socks with these boots, even without them though, a great and comfortable fit.Where do i start? i got these boots for the fashion aspect. I love a man in timbs but a girl can be sexy in them too. i first considered the ankle cut but the tall fit and fold over option on these has been raking in the compliments. Ive had multiple men comment on how nice these are and how they wish they made this kind for guys! Female friends have began to regret buying that pair of uggs instead of these fashionable/sturdy/warm/dry boots !

We are having our 1st real snow here in Chicago today, and yesterday had freezing rain. We've also had some dry-but-cold days w/ temps in the teens and single digits. The waterproof leather and the fleece lining are very effective in cold and wet weather. Even on those days when all my thick winter socks are in the laundry. Even during 30-50 min. walks w/ my dog.Plus, I don't drive. So I do a lot of walking in inclement weather in these boots -- and a lot standing at cold at bus stops. They remain warm AND comfortable through it all. And the lace-up style provides good ankle support, so these are good walking boots.These boots fit true to size. I've got flat, fat feet,

I love these boots. I have similar Timberland boots bought many years ago. I loved them, but they had pink knitted inside part that could have been folded similar if not identical to these boots. But the pink colour, though beautiful, was less versatile. The old ones are tan coloured so I bought these new ones in tobacco brown, and off white fleece. I am size 7 1/2 - 8 (38 in European size). I bought size 8 as I didn't want super fit boots. I tried them and they are a bit large, but not too much. Now it is summer, and I tried them bare feet, but with thicker socks they must be perfect. As the old ones were really comfortable, I expect these to be the same.

I found it difficult to put these boots on, I am thinking it could possibly be the fleece lining causing this problem and not allowing the feet to slide in comfortably, since I never had that issue with other Timberland boots that DIDN'T have the fleece lining.Once they are on, they fit as expected...comfortable and quite warm! I think if only I could have loosened the laces a bit more (which wasn't possible), to allow some extra room to slide my feet in then it wouldn't be a problem.I DO recommend these boots, they are indeed comfortable and warm...and true to size (with the exception of it being hard to slide them on with the fleece lining.)

I live in Wisconsin and this winter was especially harsh. These boots fit pretty snug with thick wool socks but with a thin pair they fit perfectly. On those below zero days they felt pretty cold after a few minutes but were more than adequate for getting from place to place. As the temperature has rose above zero they have been perfect in the melting snow. The bottom of the boot is very strong so if you have wide feet make sure to order a wide pair. They are made this way so you can fold them down (I don't like them folded down) without them falling off your feet. Overall great pair of shoes, I can't wait to wear them with dresses this spring.

I spent a few weeks deciding between buying these or Uggs and I went with these. I figured these are a bit more versatile and I wanted to stand out from the massive amounts of girls in Uggs where I live. I was a bit disappointed because the item did not arrive by the guaranteed delivery date however I was happy once it finally got here. Super comfortable, warm, and cute! I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 but the only sizes available were 7.5 wide. Got it and it fits just perfectly. Might need to be broken in but I was surprised how snug a "wide" size came. I love it anyway and can't wait to enjoy it for whatever is left of winter

The boots are warm and stylish - I've received several compliments. They feel broke in immediately, which is great, since normally I struggle to wear leather shoes at first in any style due to the pain of breaking them in. They have great traction and I feel confident zooming around in them. Its a nice option in the MI winter (especially this year!) to be able to lace them up high when the snow is deep. They still look cool laced to the top. Cute when rolled down too with skinny jeans, but your boot cut will easily fit over the top, even when rolled down, and not look awkward or bulky.

These shoes are comfortable and warm! After reading other reviews I saw that they run a little large so I would recommend ordering half a size down, I ordered mine and they shipped to Ontario Canada very quickly (approximately a week's delivery time) and fit just right. However, I rated these shoes a 4 and not 5 because I ordered dark brown but they are not the colour pictured above and are actually the "tobacco" colour if you look them up on Google images. I did not mind the colour difference, but be warned if you want the dark brown, the picture shown does not match what I received.

Originally I'm 6.5 in boots, I got these in a 6. Really could've gotten a 5.5, unfortunately they don't have them anymore.If your feet are wide like mine, there's no way you'll be comfortable in a regular. You must get W. I got a 6 W, and they're still snug. I hope I can break them looser a little. Overall they're good. They look a little boy - ish, and rugged, I'm still intimidating to wear them as I'm a skinny little girl, but I'm sure as winter will hit I'll take em out. I don't know about warmness, but one thing I can say is that they RUN BIG & SNUG. so keep that in mind

Daughter wanted these type boots for Christmas. Shopped all over the internet for a good deal on properly made, heavy-duty, waterproof leather boots for under $200. This pair was exactly what she wanted and made by a company known for quality workmanship. She has barely had them off since Christmas morning. Will update after a few months of snow and rain use, but they look like a very sturdy, well-made boot. Very fast shipping and competitively priced. Not crazy about buying shoes online, but in this case it worked out well and the recipient is very satisfied.

Had these for several years, wearing them very frequently. They’re very comfortable, sturdy, supportive, waterproof, not too clunky or bulky, and look great. Only replacing them as the soles have started to wear down unevenly due to pronation which I’m looking to correct. The leather is still in very good condition despite putting them through their paces and never been scared to scuff them up. I would happily resole them and keep them much longer if I didn’t feel I need a half size larger. Definitely recommend these.

I've never purchased Timberland's before, but I needed to replace my old winter boots so I decided to go with these ones. At the start, the shoe was really tight and stiff, but once I wore them in (took approximately a week), they became super comfortable. I live in Canada so I expected the shoes to take 2-4 weeks to get to my location, but surprisingly, it only took four days. Additionally, the colour of the shoes is LIGHTER than expected. It's darker than the wheat shade, but it's not as dark as the pictures claims.

Very good quality pair of boots. Doesn't look too much like a fashion boot, because the fleece is on the inside, which I really love. I've never actually gotten myself good solid boots, and I am entirely happy with my purchase. They look good, and are of a good working quality. I definitely will be a Timberland fan now. Only bummer is that there wasn't the little leather tag that I was seeing on other To. But that's not too big of a deal. Overall, solid purchase.
