This is my second pair of Clarks Desert Boots. I bought my first pair about 18 months ago and have lived in them virtually every day and they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned - hence buying a second pair. However, I do offer several points of advice. The first is that they are a 'D' fitting and so relatively narrow. The second is they absolutely do need wearing in - they are very stiff and unyielding on first wearing but, in my opinion, they are worth persevering with - it probably took a good couple of weeks wearing them every day before they finally softened down and became like a second skin. The other thing to be aware of is that they have crepe soles,

Absolutely love these boots! Ordered yesterday afternoon and picked up this morning from an Amazon locker nearby.They were super tight when I first put them on but after just an hour wearing around the house they’re loosening up already.They do wear and change colour pretty much straight away, if you’re looking for a sleek boot which doesn’t show wear these won’t be for you.Will definitely be buying more of these Clarks desert boots. I think I’ll be wearing them a lot.

Some confusion in the listing about the colour. I thought I was ordering olive, but in fact it was the light oak. Not a problem, but the listing needs revising. The sizing does come up small, so as other buyers have suggested, order a half size bigger than your usual shoe size. I did, and they fit perfectly. They are softening up well after wearing for a day, so overall I am happy.

Knocked down one star as slight scuff marks on one shoe which was disappointing as purchased for a gift but nothing too bad. I ordered a half size bigger as reviews mentioned that this style comes up small. Slightly looser than I was hoping for but okay - would have been too small if I'd have purchased the usual size of the recipient.Fast delivery.

These boots are lovely.Good quality and the beeswax finish is great. They do come up small. I am a size 4 and have never had a problem with fit with Clarks' before but having read a previous review I ordered a 4.5 as well. Even the 4.5 are a little bit snug but I am sure the leather will relax and they will be comfortable after a bit of wear.

I had already bought a pair a couple of years ago so I knew what to expect. Maybe they are a little hard on your heels at the beginning but it's probably because I'm used to really comfy winter shoes. I've used them under the rain and they don't seem to get ruined easily. Would buy again!

This shoes are wonderful and perfect. I bought it 10 years ago and i needed a new pair now. The price is very interesting (blue navy) but they are black instead. It's not a problem for me because i love the both ! The fit is perfect for me. I am really happy !

I bought first a number 38EU because usually I wear this number of shoes but then I realized that there were extremely small. I sent it back and I was refundend. The second pair I bought is perfect. I really love this shoes and the price is very convinient.

After reading previous reviews I ordered as size 5 and usually I would be a 4 1/2 and the fit was perfect. Good value for money as these are much cheaper than other stockists. Delivery was quick, well packaged and overall please with my purchase.

The boot is large around the ankle (as I have skinny ankles it shows up bigger). The tongue is pressed inwards and would be more comfortable if it was a little more relaxed. Overall, very nice shoe and great quality leather.

I originally ordered a half size larger than I normally wear but on arrival they were too small. I then re-ordered a half size bigger still and they fit perfectly although a bit sloppy on the heels.

Ordered at size seven as I am a size 6.5 and was instructed on amazon to add .5 of a size in order for them to fit. Size seven is perfect.Good quality for the money.

Tight fit to begin with, as you wear them they fit better. Would go half a size bigger than usual. They are quite narrow so not suitable for wider feet i would say.

Great quality shoe that needs a lot of break in and sizing is one size smaller than the actual size. So do size up!Other than that, I love Clark's

I love these. They come up a little bit tight but now that I’ve worn them a few times they have loosened up. Really comfortable and look great.
