These can be very comfortable but they are sized on the small and narrow side. I bought a size 7 (my normal size) which were too narrow and pinched my toes - I had to send them back! I got a size 7.5 instead and these fit really well. However, if you have wider than average feet you may still find these boots uncomfortable.I wear these as everyday work-shoes: they normally last me ~1 year of heavy use (this is my second pair).If you get the sizing right, they are comfortable, waterproof, lightweight, and well-made boots. One draw-back is that they are not particularly warm in winter and are too tight to allow the wearing of very thick socks.I was initially put off by the absence of laces - don't be!

Delighted to have found a replacement pair of these classic Chelsea boots online after my first pair were worn out after two years of pretty much non-stop wear. Practical, hard-wearing, gorgeous matt black soft leather. They're comfortable and super-versatile - look good with jeans, trousers and short or long skirts - love them, both for work and weekends. Light to pack, a boon when you're going away because they go with everything. No zips or laces,great to just kick off and pull on when you're wanting no fuss at the gym or the pool or in a hurry in the mornings. I usually wear a 5.5, so anyone thinking of getting some should probably go up half a size. Am thinking of getting another pair to put away for two years'

I've been needing a good black boot for work for quite a while. I've tried buying cheaper boots bu all of them made my feet hurt horribly. I also have what I call difficult feet, as in I have had surgery three times now for bunions. I read all the other reviews that said to buy half a size up and because it was prime day, it was a steal of a deal. When I got them I absolutely loved them. I was mentally prepared for the breaking in period while wearing them but I didn't even have to break them in!! They fit absolutely perfect and are super comfy! Mine has gotten a bit muddy but they seem to clean easily as well. I would definitely recommend it!

I have to say I feel quite lucky as ordered these through prime and they arrived the next day no problem. Ordered a size up from my normal size as recommended, but if this came in half sizes it would have probably been fine too, as for being too narrow and others couldn’t even get the boot on their feet (I’ve got wide feet too!) I had NO problem even trying the boots on with thick slipper socks on! Can’t wait to wear them out soon, lovely fitted boots and BEST of all... I bought these at £34.50 when I checked my delivery status the next day and rechecked the price ... it had gone up to £67.50!!! And it’s £69 on Clarks website... I’ve bagged myself a real bargain .. and yes,

I've been wearing the same pair of Clark's black boots for five years & only had to resole them once but was worried they might finally give up the ghost this winter. I ordered these after trying them on in a shop and since they arrived, I've worn nothing else. They fit brilliantly, are warm and snug, look stylish and understated and feel well-made and sturdy. They've been comfortable since the moment I put them on - unusual because new shoes always give me blisters for weeks. I thought the elastic panels might make them feel flimsy but my feet and ankles feel well-protected. Couldn't be happier and for £40, I'm delighted!

SUCH lovely comfortable shoes. This 'Orinoco' range is excellent. The different colours vary in softness - I ordered the Burgundy slip on boots (Club) and they are very soft and supple, and I also have a pair of the Brown Orinoco Spice (lace up fronts) and although these were very stiff when brand new, they softened up very well. Durable leather which will last. I have a range of boots but my Clarks boots are always the most comfortable and the quality is excellent, in the design, leather, and stitching. One of the best ranges to come from Clarks in the past 3/4 years.

I buy the same boots every time the ones I have get too worn and scuffed. They aren't exactly the same as they used be which is good, they are even better. The ankles are wider and the elastic isn't so constricting as they used to be. I used to have to break them in for about a week before I could easily slip my foot in them but I didn't have to with these.The only this is the soles are harder than they used to be. They were a softer rubber that felt nice to walk on and these don't have the same feel but they are probably more sturdy. Very happy with them!

The boots are a little tight to get into initially around the ankle but you soon get used to this. They fit well, are super comfortable and look great - I've had many a compliment wearing these and have asked for a black pair for my birthday. Great value for money considering they retail for about double at Clarks. I have a habit of wearing through the heel on shoes quite soon after purchase so we'll see how these hold up as it's still early days. Very happy, only reason it's 4 stars not 5 is because they're starting to look a little tired and worn already

I have owned two pairs of these boots over the last few years and the quality and fit are very good. This pair however appear to be a little longer in the foot for a size five although the width is as it should be. I don't know what is happening with Clarks sizing these days as I bought a pair of burgundy Orinoco boots last year - size five which were a little small ! I am able to wear both pairs of boots easily enough but it does seem strange how they can vary so much. I still love them as the comfort and style outweigh any niggles with the sizing.

These boots are even nicer in real life, I'm always getting compliments on them and they're SO comfortable. I'm a UK 6 and they fit perfectly with enough room to wear some comfy socks! Great versatile boots, I wear them with tights and denim skirts, dresses and jeans! Flattering to the ankle/calf too, just the right ankle height in my opinion.Really high quality boots, I wear these daily now and have done since Christmas 18 and they still look like they're new! I'll definitely be purchasing another pair when they do finally show some wear.

I previously bought these boots in black from a shoe shop. I have lived in them complete with orthotic inserts. I checked the size printed inside the 'tongue' (38D) and boot some in the burgundy through Amazon at an amazing price but... these are much narrower and will not fit my orthotics in. They are still lovely boots but will be only for high days and holidays as I will not be able to wear them all the time (dropped arch). I didn't exchange them because that's the problems with internet sales, you can't try several for the best fit.

The fit is a touch small and I can not wear socks but perfect to wear them with tights. Maybe after wearing them for a bit the leather will soften. At the moment they are a little bit difficult to put on because the back of the shoe is hard, however using a shoe horn solves the problem.The leather has a lovely feel and the colour is perfect with summer jeans.I am very happy with my purhase, I wear them as soon as they arrived and even they feel a little hard they did not left a blister and my feet was very comfy.

I bought the same boots for the second time because after 3 years, just half number bigger.Yes they do look wrinkled after first use but I have something to say. The more used and wrinkled they get the better and the better shape they get on your feet. Be patient. I wore again my old ones (they are in another country) 1.5 year later and they looked amazing, I bought the new ones and wished they had that used look.About the size, DO get a whole number bigger than what you usually wear!!

Nice comfy boots very narrow though as others have said and come up small. I vary in size in boots from 5 to 6 depending on style. I have other Clarks boots in a.6 which are too big. I ordered these in 5.5 and they are slightly too small! although they have stretched a bit now with wear. so I'd recommend ordering a size bigger than normal. I would have preferred them in leather rather than nubuck finish as they are difficult to clean and unfortunately show every mark and scuff.

These were everything and more than I expected. Have had these boots in a burgundy colour from last year, they are stylish but also comfortable! Had had my eye on this colour for a while but did not want to pay full price...Amazon came up trumps!If you have a narrow foot these are ideal, they fit well, look neat not clumpy and you can wear them with tights and a dress or jeans..really versatile:)Update: Just bought my third pair of these boots..still the best...love them:)
