I often buy Clarks brogues and they fit me well with only a short period of wearing in required, so I thought I'd try the boots. They look great and were incredibly good value. They are a little tighter than expected over the widest part of the toes, so I wonder if I need a wider fit. I massaged the leather as soon as I got them and put hard objects in the toes to stretch them out and that has helped. I also loosened the laces over the toes and tightened them over the ankles for a better fit. Only been to the shops and back once and worn them around the house but so far, so good. I can feel they might give me blisters at the heels if I walk much further and the leather still pinches over the toes where the boot bends,

I love my boots . They are really comfortable and I have been able to wear them all day since I bought them. I have to give a big thank you to all the previous reviewers though ,otherwise it could have turned out differently. I am a size 6 1/2 which Clarks stock yippee ! However they only supply the wider fitting in whole sizes Boo :( Never mind though as I am hardly ever able to get half sizes and erred on the side of caution by going a half size up which meant that I was able to get the wide fitting having previously taken note from all those reviews that informed me that these boots are slim added to which I can put thick socks on when its cold !

Great Clarks boots as always a good fit and well made. great school shoes for my daughter who walks to school every day. The last pair she had of the same lasted more than a year of school and out of school use (she loved them) Only down side is that the heel was not solid so when they were worn down there were holes in the base which filled with stones. Couldn't be re heeled as our local shoe mender said Clarks use a plastic heel on their women's and children's shoes that glue will not adhere to so he wouldn't touch them. My husband had to fill the holes with a black gasket sealer which did the trick for a good while. The uppers are still perfect in those shoes just the heels let them down.

I love my boots... at first. I got mine in regular fit (not wide fit) and in one size larger (not half) so I could add insoles in. Do take note, you need to break these shoes in, especially if your feet are of different sizes like mine (right foot is slightly larger). But once you have broken them in, they are and should be comfortable. I have a bad back, hence I decided to add to the cushioning with insoles, which I recommend if you use these for a lot of walking.However, because there’s a slight heel and that the leather needs some time to break in, I had to return the shoes eventually as my back started to hurt.I still highly recommend it as my friends bought the same ones and they were

Arrived safely, as described. Really pleased with the product and service.I'm usually a size 3 regular in Clarks shoes/ 3.5 in heels and purchased these boots in size 3 wide after carefully reading the reviews (where most people said these are a bit narrow). They fit perfectly. Glad I went for size 3 wide instead of 3.5 regular (the latter would've been to big after all).Although I prefer long boots I decided to go for this pair since I couldn't find any long boots to fit me from the Clarks store this year. I'm 5'2, size 4 petite in clothing but my calves aren't exactly sticks to be honest; all other boots I tried this season were way too baggy so I decided to try my luck with Orinoco boots.

Although ostensibly designed for women and having seen reviews for these boots on Amazon and on the Clarks website, the consensus seemed to be that the regular width version was often too narrow.. On my feet, however, even the regular fit boots feel wide.. I almost need a second pair of socks to fill the boot.. strangeThey are very lovely boots, however, at the same time as feeling super comfy they also feel very sturdy, most guys boots are one or the other never both, usually sturdy at the expense of comfort.. also the extra half inch in height gained from the 'slightly higher than normal guys boot heel' is pretty sweet.

These are very nice, look very smart on with a pair of jeans so exactly what I was looking for. Love that I can choose to either tie the laces or use the side zip. Look exactly as the picture shows and have no complaints whatsoever, very pleased. Not a complaint but would say the boot is quite narrow (unfortunately with the design of the boot that’s going to be the case and I didn’t get a wide fit) so if you know you have a wide foot they may not be comfortable, I have a slightly wide foot but they are just about what I need especially as I wear them in a bit this should loosen a little.

So, i have no luck finding shoes that fit me, they tend to feel a bit too snug at the toes or rub at the heels or both. I've been wearing these for a couple weeks and only once did they rub a little and that's when they were still a little stiff. I'm used to wearing a flat shoe normally so it took a few days to get used to the slight heel as there's little to no flat ground where i live. These boots are relatively warm too which is great, i get ice cold feet and found that with some boots the rubber isn't thick enough to stop the cold but these are.

When I got these boots I was about to send them back after a couple of days, since they were hurting my toes of how stiff they felt. They were hard to break (I used a generous amount of leather balm for this) but once this happened, they became my FAVOURITE pair of boots and I can’t stop wearing them now. The quality is superb, they are equally good for walking the dog in a muddy park or for urban use, they look great and they are super comfortable!! I’m happy I gave them a chance and kept them, best pair I’ve had in years.

Second pair I have purchased. Comfortable on first wear. On trend. Bought wide fit. I have wide feet and, unfortunately, a good set of bunions. I also have these boots in brown.One thing to note is that I often take a smaller size in wide fit shoes and boots but not with these, I bought my usual 5 and a halfI probably won't wear them in slippery conditions, the soles are good but are not a non slip type material. They are a good sturdy fashion boot not a heavy weight work or hiking boot.

As was the case with another reviewer, I also have wide feet with a high instep, making well-fitting boots difficult to find. I've worn these boots twice, both times for extended walks and they have been very comfortable even though I already had couple of blisters from shoes worn a few days previously. I didn't notice anything at all - absolutely brilliant. I take a size 7-8, and bought an 8 E with these.The really good thing is that they don't look enormously wide either. Perfect!

Absolutely love them!! I tried them on in the Clarks store but I couldn't justify the price. Then I found them on here for cheaper! At first they pinch a bit but once you allow them to break in they are extremely comfortable! Hard wearing and flattering. My only issue is with the laces, they tend to undo quite easily, even if you double knot them. I think it's because they have a bit of a waxy coating, but this can easily be replaced. Definitely an autumn/winter essential!!!!

I read a lot of reviews saying these boots are narrow/come up small, I completely disagree. My feet are 'regular' in width and these fit perfectly, no pinching at all. People that have wide feet will need a wide-fit boot rather than regular fit, which they do in some sizes of this boot.There is a lot of room in the toe area which is good for thick socks. They are so comfortable and warm. Very happy with these, I am sure I am going to live in them in the winter months!

These are my favourite winter boots... purchased a pair every 2 years and they last that long (every day wear) - this pair is my 4th. I’m a huge fan, they look stylish, go with smart work clothes or jeans. The block heel is sturdy and doesn’t wear down too easily. Outer sole has very good tread. The laces look great but you taken them off/on via the side zip which is easier and faster.There’s a huge colour selection and I got a bargain purchasing a pair from Amazon.

After many years of trying other (more expensive) boots, I was delighted to see that these good old faithfuls are still available. I now have a new pair to wear with smarter clothes while my old pair is still earning their worth in the muck on walks. They seem to last forever! They might feel a bit tight around the foot at first, but you'll soon wear them in (hint: spray old socks with furniture polish and wear the boots around the house).
