There’s Alot to say. First, I had never heard of this company (Josef Seibel) before researching boots on Amazon but WOW! I was hesitant because the description photos made the Taupe color look like it had a green cast to it... Happily It Does Not. I’ve added photos in different lighting for you to see the Gorgeous “real” color. (My in-laws have green carpet in the basement) so I put them on to show the color against the green- You can see the boots are more of a rich gorgeous khaki/brown..I guess I got the last pair of 42s and they fit awesome. I wear an 11.5-12 and finding cute or stylish real leather quality boots is not easy...The box came in really BAD condition and was held together with rubber bands?

I bought a black pair of these in a shop to make sure the fit was right as they have to take orthotics as well as my feet. Having found that the first pair worked, I wanted a pair to change with. The colour is reddish brick.so it goes with lots of things. The animal print fur is beautifully soft and the boots are versatile in that they lace up with no fur showing or can be worn with the top turned down and fastened in place with a couple of poppers. A friend came to visit and fell in love with them. I'm just grateful that i wear two sizes bigger than she does or I would have had to wrestle the boots from her. Will probably buy another pair in this design but in another colour as I really like them.

I have been buying these Josef Seibel boots in this particular style for 3 years and these are my fourth pair, although the other 3 pairs are still very wearable but have been through some rough weather! They are so comfortable, warm and stylish, and look great with skinny jeans tucked inside. I prefer to wear them with the tops not turned over and find the suede style softer and more comfortable than the leather. The laces are easy to do up as they are just hooks - I don't have the time or inclination to spend minutes each time unlacing and lacing up! I have bought the brown colour this time as they are such a bargain on Amazon at this time of year. They cost around £100 when not in the sale.

I have been searching for the perfect walking boots which has been trial and error in different brands. I decided to give Josef Seibel a try and I am so pleased that I did! They not only feel so warm and so comfortable with literally the most perfect amount of space and grip exactly where you need it, they look so cool!One major point to make is that if you are from the UK and used to how we get our footwear generally, this brand is like one size larger. I knew this by reading comments before buying and so I downsized by one size and they fit absolutely perfect with a little room to spare for comfort.You won't be disappointed with these boots,

I just LOVE these boots. They are so so comfortable and warm - they look great with jeans (skinny jeans worn inside the boot with the "cuff" turned up or wider trousers over the boot). I don't wear the cuffs down ever as with my large feet I think I would look rather goofy. I have worn these wonderful boots day-in day-out since their arrival months ago and the soles and heels don't appear in the least bit worn. I have ticked the "moderately large" box as I think it would be safe to say that they do come up a little generously which suits me just fine. I'm going to treat myself to another pair next winter although I know my blue ones will still be just fine.

Lovely boots - very comfortable - nice to have the option of wearing as an ankle boot of higher up when fully laced. The boot is lined with soft fur so extremely comfy.The only problem I had with these boots was the sizing. I ordered a size 5 UK but was sent a size 39 which is a 6 UK. They are obviously listed wrong in the manufacturers. A replacement pair was sent - also a 39. Finally I ordered another pair, a size 4 UK - and these came as a size 38. Amazon were very helpful in resolving this.Other than that the boots are lovely. I have never bought Josef Seibel boots before and they are a superior quality with a cushioned sole. Very pleased overall

The sizing is consistent with other shoes of this brand - meaning it's large fitting (I'm UK size 9, here 42/UK8 fits perfectly).The boots are very soft and comfortable. Also, the colour is much nicer than in the picture - warm light brown, not cold greenish tint in there. I also like that there is no zipper - I see no point in having both laces and zipper in the same boot and it seems to be the standard now, so happy to find something without the ugly bit.Edit after few months - there were maybe 2 days this winter when I wore anything else, on formal occasions. Those might be the best shoes I've ever owned. I'm ordering a second pair.

Very comfortable, well made, quality boot, exactly as pictured. Nice and light in weight, not heavy and clumpy.I purchased a 37 and it fits as a true 37, (i.e. European 37's we get here in Australia).I take a 36 in an open toed shoe, and so a perfect fit for me in closed shoe or boot would be 36.5, however I have a wide foot at front and most regular fits always far to squashy, so to get more room I get a 37. So yes a little long on the length, but roomy is better than squishy. Have not found them to rub or pinch, comfortable on first wear.Arrived within the advertised timeframe. Very happy with purchase.

I absolutely love these boots - they are warm and extremely comfortable. They will also lace up higher so that the fur cuff is not exposed - I would have given them 5 stars if it were not for the fact the lace 'holes' are too short for the end of the laces so it is very difficult to lace them up higher - the plastic bits on the end of the laces needs to be made longer. They are great in snowy weather too as the soles grip - I bought them for a trip to Poland. Order a size smaller though - I am normally a 40 but had to send them back for a 39.

I'm a perfect size 4.5..and have have terrible trouble finding shoes to fit. I've been looking for a couple of years for the 'perfect boots'....so Following previous reviews, I ordered the 4. They fit really well, maybe slightly big, but I like that with boots, so with a thick pair of socks they will fit perfect. Most important to me, the structure inside & leather is really soft, so no rubbing on the ankles or back of foot. Fur type lining is nice & snuggly too. Not too clumpy heel & sole. I guess I'm fussy....but I love these boots!

These boots look exactly as the picture and are really gorgeous. Quality is excellent and they are special boot for smart casual occasions. However, I had to very sadly send them back as they are just too long. They were fine width wise, but just too long. I am a size 3 and ordered the 3, but they were still too bg. I tried the size 4 in a high street, but they were more like a size 5. Am sometimes a 4 in walking shoes with thicker socks. This colour is also very dark brown not black, but almost black. Hope this is helpful.

I love these boots, they are so versatile and I can wear with the cuff folded down or up if I want to change the look. Wonderfully warm and comfortable from the get go and being a bit on the large side, plenty of room for my orthotic insoles. These would have been 5 star boots if they had been waterproof (admittedly I haven't tested this, just gone on other people's reviews. Not a lot of use in snow when my tootsies would benefit from the warmth, so will have to get that sorted before the winter weather really starts..

Every item of footwear I order at the moment has been too small. So I ordered a 41 to also allow for thick socks. Well they were massive, so a true 41. I returned them and reordered a size 40 and they are perfect. Still roomy for thicker socks. I wore them to visit London and they were very comfy, and coped well in the rain. A lovely colour, versatile, great with a long skirt or leggings and jeans, being able to wear them up or turned down. They just feel luxurious and good quality. I'm impressed.

The recipient was absolutely delighted to get these. She has been wearing a pair of the same style in red every winter for the last five years and finds them warm, comfortable and eminently suitable for the large amount of urban walking she does daily. Although her original pair show little wear despite long usage she had been recently bemoaning not being able to find another pair locally.So I gained a lot of kudos by tracking these down - at a bargain price too.

Boots arrived promply, but they have different fur to the one in the picture,(cream/brown ermine type,like the green ones are shown as). As it happens I like it, so decided to keep them. They are VERY comfortable. New boots worn for a whole weekend around Edinburgh .I need to wear thick socks with them,but I wanted to be able to wear them so that's fine ! I may try wearing with an insole as the heel of the boot is quite wide,but this doesn't affect the comfort.
