With them being half price and after price comparing, I felt compelled to try as they reminded me of the good old days when I did not just turn 40 and Dr Martens were all the rage in the 90s (they might still be, I don't know, I'm old now :/)Was looking for shoes for work and these suit the bill. Quite masculine of course, but I don't mind that. I have EU size 42/43 and normally need to settle for a size 9 which in the UK simply does not exist a great deal of choice for, however relatively comfortably seem to fit in these size8, bearing in mind I do suspect they will get wider quite quickly and will fit my left foot (quarter size bigger than my right foot) better when they do size up a bit.

I ordered these as a birthday gift for my daughter. She had a previous pair of Rocket Dog books which she had worn into holes so I was very pleased to find these which were very similar to her previous pair. To say she was delighted is an understatement. They fit her perfectly...she’s a size 4 and has normal width feet. I don’t think these would accommodate a wide foot. She loved the length in the ankle and the wool top ...apparently that’s all the rage. She said you do have to really pull them on when they are new but they do soften up and once on they are super comfortable, waterproof and warm. I know they will be the only thing she wears across the winter.

The shoes arrived a lot quicker than I expected, and fortunately fit me well enough that I didn't need to mess around with sending them back for a different size. They're a great colour, feel sturdy, and haven't rubbed my feet or ankles at all despite being new and still quite stiff. The soles are thick so I hope I won't wear through them as quickly as previous shoes! Having now walked through a few puddles in them, I can attest to the fact that they're waterproof. I also like the fact they're not leather! My only gripe with them is that the laces are truly horrible: too big and chunky, and they don't tie up very well. I'll be buying a different kind of lace I think.

I've been wanting these boots for over a year and when they went in the sale, I couldn't resist for under £30! What a bargain for Rocket Dog boots! Love them. They are gorgeous up close. The faded leather/beaten look is really fashionable and they are super sturdy, well made boots and look great on. They're not very padded and don't offer much in the way of comfort, so I probably won't be wearing them if I know I need to be walking a lot. I can't say I would agree that they are worth the full purchase price of £75+, but not bad for a fashion statement. Glad I finally got some in the Amazon sale.

The item is styled really nicely, the sole is good quality and he 'cardboardy' feel is not as apparent as in some synthetic boots and shoes (still not a patch on vegan Doc Martens for suppleness, though). I really didn't like the look and feel of the very thick laces, though, and found them hard to both tighten and loosen ... which is the big minus with these boots, especially as there are no 'quick hooks' (don't know the technical term!) for easy on / easy off. That downfall was easily rectified with a spare pair of thinner laces, though. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

Love these boots. They look and feel well made and sturdy, the fit is true to size. They are a little faffy to get on and off as you have to loosen the laces quite a way down but I think I was just lazy as my previous boots had hooks so were much quicker. They look really good with skirts, dresses and jeans - the laces are thick but you just tuck them in (I have been reliably informed this is the cool way to wear laces these days). For the price I think they are a bargain - really comfortable with no 'new shoes issues' such as rubbing or blisters-immediate comfort. Love them!

I really love these boots. They are so well-shaped and comfortable - chances are that the most comfortable boots I have ever purchased. I saw that they received a couple of negative comments about the sole coming down, so I was in doubt but then I decided to give them a chance anyway. I have just applied a very little dose colorless glue and some waterproofer spray as a prevention. I really hope the boots will last long and now I am considering to buy a pair of brown ones as well.

I bought these boots as a replacement for a pair that I had had for a couple of years. I'm normally a size 3 and they fit a little on the small size but do loosen up with wear. I wear them once or twice a week and the boots are very comfortable, I have received many compliments from friends and one has even purchased a pair for herself. I purchased these a few months ago and at the time they were around £14, making them excellent value for money.

Got these boots to use as part of a yeti costume and immediately painted them white with some gloss I had left over from doing our skirting boards. They stank and went rather hard, and a load of paint came off in the washing machine. Plus it turns out yetis usually go barefoot. I was something of a laughing stock at the party.I suspect Excellent when used for their intended purpose but not ideal as a misguided fancy dress item.

These were brought for my partener,(She very particular, "fussy" with foot wear)She says they're very comfortable boots, and have kept her feet very warmin this cold weather we have been having.The style and design of the boots arelovely and have become her preferred boots to wear.Rocket Dog have made a fantastic pair of boots and I think I made a great decision getting them for her.Great boots, great service.

I love these boots but in previous purchases have often found Rocket Dog footwear to be quite small in size, especially as I have wide feet so for the boots I opted for the next size up however when they arrived they were far too big, sods law! So I sent them back and re-ordered them in my normal size 5. They are so comfy! Best boots I have bought in a long time; they are comfortable and look good too.

Great boots, fit really well and look good. Delivery was quick, price was great in the sale! Only minor annoyances was the laces weren't very nice but I swapped them out easily, other thing was the tounge kept slipping right down around my ankles so annoying, caused a slight rub from the eye of the lace. I put a hole in the tounge to put laces through now perfect!

I guess I like the boots. I had been looking for a grey pair of boots for a long time. These are the first ones I thought I might like. I spent more than I think they are worth, because I purchased them internationally. Quality is so so. I expected a better quality from Rocket Dog. They are cute but probably wouldn't have bought them if I tried them on first.

I was a bit nervous on what size to order but I went with my regular size & they fit right out of the box. They are so comfortable & look fabulous! I'm now trying to decide which brown pair to get. I have 2 different size feet and these are good for both length and width. The heel is definitely tapered for a more girly fit but it's ok on my ankle.

I use these boots for work as I'm a dog groomer and struggle with hair splinters in my feet. I bought a brown pair of these boots last year and they've been so comfortable and perfect for my needs that I wore them to their death so have bought another pair. I'm on my feet all day so I also find adding a memory foam liner makes them even better.
