I could have kicked myself for reading the reviews that suggested you should get a size larger. I am a size 5 and so bought a size 6 but they were so big the boots slipped off my heel as I walked and so I had no alternative but to return them. Having said that I do understand why others would have thought it necessary but it's due to them being square toed which gives you less 'toe space' but I do believe they are true to size and now I have the right size they're really wonderful. I would also like to say that the service I received from Sole Trader was second to none and I would buy from them again without hesitation. Keep up the good work!

When you open the box you can see that these are a well made, beautifully designed pair of boots. The thick suede is a lovely chestnut colour, great for the autumn and the style is very cute - they remind me of eighties pixie boots. The moulding is sturdy and should be long lasting and they are fully lined with shearling for comfort and warmth. I feel the sizing is probably a tad tight, but as they are suede there is a lot of give once they are on. If you are planning to wear them with thick tights I would perhaps go up half a size. The popper does not open. A great addition to your winter wardrobe.

These are slip on boots of a reasonably good quality - soles don't last that much - with a cute design, made of real suede leather and fully lined with fur inside. They are very warm and comfortable. The fur area cannot be flipped up as there is a decorative tab covering it which is fully attached (guess with a bit of DIY, the tab attachment maybe removed to pull up the fur area to transform the boots from an ankle length to mid calf length, however I have not tried this cz I am afraid I may break them). Excellent seller and very fast delivery too so a happy buyer overall!

Usual good quality one would expect from Rocket Dog. These SugarMint boots fit well in the footbed. They have a squarish toe, like the SugarDaddy boots, so suit a wide foot. I have a high arch to my foot, so found the boots difficult to get on to start with, as they have no zipper. Once on, the boots are a good fit and, I think, true to size. The boots have loosened up a bit now and are easier to get on and off. The difficulty in getting them on is is the only reason for them not getting the full five stars.

I got these for my niece as she loves her other Rocket Dog boots. I got the size 6, the same as her others but she said they were a little too big, but with thick socks should be ok when the weather turns really cold.They look good and feel well made. For a moment I thought there might be some damage to the suede exterior then I realised it's a cutout logo. The base of the sole may not be very grippy in thick ice or snow but warmth won't be a problem.

I bought the size up from my normal size,im glad I did as it would have been difficult getting them on.I love them,had Many comments how nice they are.Very warm and sturdy.. will definitely buy another pair 5 stars from me .Update: bought a second pair in black seeing as my first pair lasted so long, quick delivery and same quality fabulous boots .still 5 stars from me ?????

I have wide feet and these boots are roomy. They were perfect in the width but as they were also roomy above my foot (my feet are wide but skinny!) I needed to buy sheepskin insoles to give me a snug fit. Now I have a super-comfortable and very cosy pair of Winter boots. The rubberised sole is great for when it's wet underfoot. Brilliant!

Great boots, have had several pairs in the past and was happy to see them for sale again.Easy to slip on and look good with many outfits.Lovely comfy wide fitting but much more neat looking than more famous brands.Kind of wish they hadn't made the fur trim grey instead of black but that's a minor detail.Happy with my new boots.

I own 4 pairs of longer length Rocket Dog boots as I find the wide style very comfortable. This pair of ankle boots are just as comfortable and look great and are lovely and warm. Like another reviewer said they are more difficult to get on so for now I use a shoe horn. I am sure they will get easier the longer I wear them.

Very much love these boots and wear them a lot casually and for work. They're wide, so I put an insole inside and now they are perfect. Ankle perhaps very slightly narrower than I would have liked so they are everso slightly difficult to pull on. Answer to this I have found is - never take them off.

Loved them! but like many of the other replies I couldnt get them on-no zip or opening-tough one.... Friend gave me shoe horn that helped but only a bit... still took ages and then difficult to get off-very time consuming and frustrating - all they needed was a small opening-shame! :(

These are my daughters second pair of rocket dogs , highly recommended as they are really hard wearing as well as fashionable, after over a year of constant wear she has now out grown them, decided on the shorter pair this time, hopefully these will be just as excellent.

I read reviews and was lead to believe as I was a five and a half that I should go for a size six, however should of ordered a five like I normally do in boots. I sent them back and decided to try some boots on in the shops. So be careful of people's size reviews.

Ordered these as in winter I wear the long boots like these and wanted something a bit shorter for the warmer weather. These are ideal for dog walking, nice and sturdy and so so comfy would recommend these and will be ordering additional pairs!

The boots are very nice, I got a size up than I usually get as several of the reviews said they had done the same, I also found that they are a little difficult to get on, but hoping after wearing for a while they will be easier to get in to
