I have wanted a pair of fly knee high boots for ages ! I was having a look on Amazon and saw these .. The price was very good. I had looked at various other stockists of fly boots and none were as cheap as these. I read the reviews and was concerned about size etc. But I ordered them anyway as it was free returns. Another plus. They came quiclky . THEY are GEORGUS I am a size 7 , but usually in a boot I have to get a size8. I also have arthritis in my toes and buying shoes and boots can be a real pain literally! Getting something that fits well and is comfy can be tricky. These boots are perfect. I have quitevbig calves as I am a size 14.

Love, love, love these type of Fly boots... I've worn every single pair almost constantly until I've reluctantly had to admit they needed replacing. I got my very first pair after reading a review by someone saying they didn't have to break them in - they were instantly comfy. Sounded a bit too good to be true, to be honest... but actually? They were bob on! These boots ARE supremely comfortable and I've never had to go through the hellish breaking-in period that I've had to do with other shoes/boots. I have a 'pump bump' on the back of my heel, which causes me no end of pain and blisters in other shoes... but it's been as happy as Larry in these boots since day one. Just get some.

I have problems getting long boots as my calves are 16 inches so I was concerned after reading reviews that these wouldn't fit. When they arrived I decided to undo the leg buckles and then fasten once they were on. This did the trick.Despite my footballers legs they fit beautifully and I was able to fasten the buckles without any problems. I think they'd be a problem for anyone with chunky ankles as they are very narrow there but for me this isn't an issue.The leather is deliciously soft and buttery and the boots are so comfy I could wear them all day. Size wise the feet are on the wide side which is good for boots as it allows socks to be worn with them and makes for a more comfortable fit.

I wanted to write this to help anyone who is worried about the fit of these boots.When I looked at these, I loved the style but wasn't sure if they would fit my calf's. I think I have fairly chubby legs, I am a size 16 so I'm definitely not imagining it.I received these today and couldn't be more pleased, not only do they look amazing but the fit perfectly. They are a little bit stiff but that is to be expected with leather...... a few wears will loosen them up.When I first zipped them up, and I did manage to zip them all the way up, they were a little tight. The great thing about these boots is that you can adjust them with the buckles. I moved them another 2 holes and that made them fit perfectly.

These are the second pair of knee length boots I've bought from Fly in the last few months and I have to say I'm now a complete fan. The first pair I bought were black newbuck Saho and I loved those so much I ordered these Solv in Dark Brown. Like the Saho, they come to just under the knee (I'm 5ft4") and are slim fitting. I have 15" calfs and didn't have any problems doing these up. If they are a little tight on you, you can loosen the tops a little with the 2 buckles on the side. They're a slightly alternative, biker style boot but extremely comfortable. I can walk for hours in them and the sloped heel really aids in a good, fluid stride. In both pairs of boots I think they're quite roomy up the toe end,

I love these. I’ve spent ages trying to find nice brown boots. Many have been returned. But these are perfect. I’m going to buy them in black too.Here’s some tips ...Buy them in your European size. The UK to Euro sizing isn’t consistent between different makes - if you buy your European size in these boots you’ll be fine, UK size might be a bit small.I bought the dark brown, swithered over the the camel, but glad I went for brown as it’s not nearly as dark as it looks in the photo.If you have normal sized calves (that is, you think they’re big because no boots fit, but actually you’re a normal) these are perfect as they are fully adjustable.I wouldn’t quite call them knee high.

My third pair of Fly boots - so a very contented customer. Wore my first pair - purple - every day from September to April for two years and they have just worn through at the heel - will probably get them repaired rather than throwing them away. Bought a brown pair in a sale and wore them just as much. The only problem in the past was that the sole was low at the front and started to leak in rainy weather after a while. They've obviously fixed this now as new, knee high, black ones are fine - just wore them in rain to check. Looked at other boots but couldn't find any others I liked as much - very, very comfortable and can wear them with a skirt or under or over jeans.

I tried on a 5 and 6 in a shop and couldn't decide which size to go for eventually I ordered these from Amazon in the 6 and found them too big so re-ordered the 5 and they were a perfect fit. I sent them back via Click Collect, which I hadn't used before but it was such an amazingly fast return process I've used it loads since!! I did have a little rubbing on my ankle on the first day that I wore them, but put that down to wearing them out on a long shopping trip that day! I massaged the area of boot a little before I wore them next and now they're perfect! I had Fly's on my wish list for well over a year and am really pleased I chose this style.

These boots are amazing, they are a tiny little bit on the large side but to be honest your feet don't feel insecure at all and I might just pop an insole in, the are SOOOO comfy. Also being a person with slim legs these boots are perfect! I have never found such a great fitting boot for my calfs. Companies tend to cater to the larger legs but I haven't come across anyone who makes their boots more slim and I love them! I read reviews saying they don't last or whatever but they are leather and they are great quality so I recon if I look after them, ill get a good two years wear at least. So happy with my purchase, did not expect to love them as much as I do :-)

Fab boots. I love Fly boots and when my last pair of long Mes boots gave up the ghost ( 5 yrs old) I wanted a replacement. These looked a bit different and were priced reasonably. The sizing on these seems a bit bigger than other Fly boots- I reliably choose a size five and found these a bit roomier in the foot dept- not enough to warrant a new size or insoles but they would take thick socks. If you are trying to decide on size for these I probably wouldn't size up . Anyway they feel fab and unlike my Mes boots I was able to wear them straight away over jeans rather than wear them in for a while first so they are also more forgiving in the calf region than other fly boots

got these as my daughter is tall and usually takes a 7 in a boot shoe size 6.5 and ordered an 8 as she has difficulty getting long boots to fit,,these are lovely quality and fit good...I guessed at a size 8...she is 5ft 7/8 and long legs...they will give aswell as ordered some dubbing which allows the leather to give..she likes fly and these live up to their name..ordered myself some in a different style,,,as liked em so muchgood quality..and style fly lives up to its name...daughter is tall 5.8 and has difficulty getting long boots to fit she takes a 6.5 in a shoe so guessed at an 8 perfect fit...lovely boots,,ordered dubbing aswell as this lets the leather give.....

Read the reviews on sizing before purchasing as I have wide calves and haven't bought boots online before so was a bit apprehensive. However they arrived and I was really pleased with the fitting, these boots are great, Due to the buckles I was able to adjust them slightly to fit my calves. The leather is soft and supple and they are really comfortable. The sole is substantial, the problem I have found with all my old boots is that the sole wears out first and when they are molded - renders them useless as no repair is possible. This style of double layered sole looks like it will last a substantial amount of time. I love wearing them.Very pleased with purchase!

Bought FLY Womans Synd Biker boots which I loved, but had to return them after one month as they leaked as there was a fault in the seam. I bought these as a replacement and love them. They are slightly longer in the leg than the biker boot, and have adjustable calf buckles which are useful for those with slightly larger calves. I'm a petite 5ft tall, and these are a perfect length for me as they don't hit my knee (which lots of standard length boots do). If you are tall, these would be more of a calf length boot....I'm very pleased with them. I usually wear a size 4 shoe/boot, but these are 3's (36) and there's plenty room.

I'd been thinking about getting Fly Mol boots forever, kept trying them on, kept thinking they made my size 7 feet look even bigger than they are. But the design of these is slightly wider at the ankle to give a more balanced look. Combined with the double buckle at the top they look amazing on!I was worried by a few comments saying that they fit wider calves, as I have quite narrow/average calves, but they fit me perfectly, so I can only assume that other people loosened the buckles slightly to give a good fit. These boots are SO comfy, I'm glad I found them as a great alternative to the still wonderful Mol boots.

I had my eye on these boots for a while and I'm glad I decided to get them - they fit really well and are extremely comfortable. The adjustable buckles are a great detail ensuring a perfect fit around the calves. My only grumble would be that I've only worn them a couple of times yet they seemed to have marked easily - scratches and scuffs are quite noticeable. They are a casual look so I guess the marks don't matter too much. Having said that the colour is great and make them a bit different to the norm and I've received compliments about them. They look good with skinny jeans or short skirts and thick tights.
