Great boots. Saw these in Clark’s, completely sold out in every size apart from a three!! Lady in Clark’s suggested I try Amazon. Cheaper too! Very rarely do I see a boot or shoe that I really like. But I HAD to have these!! Normally I’m a 7 or 8, but managed to get a 7.5. I can’t do an 8. It’s a mind thing!! Chunky biker boots. The buckle across the foot undoes, so can be loosened which is a bonus. They are quite generous around the top, but that doesn’t bother me. I read some reviews where they haven’t fitted. I’m 5ft 8” with slim legs from the knee down, the height is great too. Textured leather, so not pristine in appearance which is great!

I chose these boots as I know Clarks do half-sizes (many companies don't). I wanted leather boots, which these are, so that they would last. The problem I usually have with longer length boots is that they are 'baggy' around my legs and I feel like I'm wearing wellies! Some of the reviews for these had said they were 'slim' in the leg, so I took a chance. I was delighted when they arrived, fit beautifully! I'm by no way a 'skinny' person (size 12/14, 5'8" tall), and the fit around my leg is nice, but I wouldn't say it was tight at all. The boots are furry lined and warm and sturdy. Just what I wanted. The bonus being that I got these for much less cost than I would have paid on the highstreet.

I have such issues buying boots as I have narrow feet & calves, but oh my goodness! These are amazing! I was fully prepared to send them back like I've done with many a delivery in the past but there's no way these are leaving this house without being on my feet!These are an 8D & fit wonderfully around the foot & so comfortable around the ankle & calves with no baggyness to rub against the legs.There's a lovely layer of warmth in each boot which keep your feet & legs warm on the bitterest of days.Very impressed with these. If, alike me, you have a slim foot then give these a go. They're amazing, not to mention the adaptability to go with different outfits.

These are absolutely fabulous sturdy, yet fashionable, boots. Good sole with grip, shanks don’t droop, lovely newbuck appearance, fit my feet and legs beautifully. I bought these because I tried my friend’s ones on and they were perfect so I had to buy. These will last me for years - great Clarks’ styling and comfort. The price was extremely good - i’d Shopped around for the best price and even at Clark’s Vilkage (near to me) they were £20 dearer! I love them - if you want classic styling with an up-to-the minute look at an affordable price, then you can’t go wrong with these. They’ll be a wardrobe staple!

I have really thick calfs - 18", so high ankle boots has always been a far away dream. But something about these have caught my eye and since I was getting another pair of Clarks anyway, I thought I'd try. Worst case scenario - I would return them.I did have to break them in. The first time I tried my legs went a bit numb.. But the fact that these were the first ever high ankle boots I managed to zip to the top was giving me a hope :D I still have to be careful when zipping them up (need to grip my leg not to break the zipper), but lets be fair - with my enormous calfs I could not expect anything better.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to some of the more negative reviews concerning size, these boots fit perfectly (size 5) and are lovely and cosy. I wanted boots I could wear with tights without having to put thick socks on to keep my legs warm. Wore them to work straight out of the box (30 minute walk) and no rubbing or pain. Less stiff than my previous Clarks boots. Great quality. My legs aren’t stick thin, but I could zip them up easily, although over trousers or thick tights would definitely be snug. But that’s what I wanted, and the furry lining keeps my legs nice and toasty in my freezing classroom!

When I got these boots I was ?!Beautiful design, fit like a glove, my calfs are muscular because of sports, yet they suited me.Wore them into the muddy fields without socks, so warm & cozy ?. If you wear wool socks, get a half-size bigger cause these are rigid yard/riding boots.Compared to my Aigle country boots and to my riding boots these are just as tough, pretty, comfortable. I am very fussy with boots cause I need sturdy yet fashionable footwear to cycle, walk the woods or just on pavement. They were covered in mud on the first day. I really like them!??

I love the model of the boots. I am a 6 uk but I kept in mind the anterior reviews to go with 1/2 size half up so I ordered 6.5 size and it was a valuable recommendation because fit perfectly. My calf measure is 37 cm and the boots feels perfect, not too large, not too tight. The only minus I could find is that the interior side part of the boots (between legs part) is made of 2 pieces of leather because you can observe a fine line of glue where the leather is glued together and the inside sole should be softer ( I mean better padded) being Clarks. Thank you.

I have had a pair of these boots for 4 years and they are so hard wearing and comfortable I decided to buy these. I ordered these in half a size larger as my old ones are fairly snug and haven't got the fleece lining. They are a perfect fit although I do have fairly slim ankles and calves so they may not be right for everyone. All in all a comfortable stylish boot good for every day wear but smart enough to dress up. The delivery was excellent too, they arrived 3 days earlier than predicted with timely notifications from the courier.

Absolutely love these boots , they fit me perfectly, the small elastic panels at the back help when zipping them up ,I don’t have particularly skinny calves and have struggled in the past to get a good fit however these are perfect. The leather is beautifully soft & supple , I ordered the brown ones first & these are lined with cream fur , then I ordered the black ones , these are lined with black fur - they are so comfortable . I would highly recommend these to anyone considering buying these

Since I have narrow calves (35 cm circumference) it's hard to find boots that have a decent fit on the shaft. These weren't too bad fit-wise but were not as good as the Rieker boots I had before. At the top of the boots the measurements were ~39 cm inner and ~43 cm outer circumferences at a height of ~37 cm from the sole, i.e. not including the raised heel (size 7). It might work with thicker trousers to close the gap. I'm not sure if I will tolerate this much gap or send the boots back.

Bought these in tan-lovely deep rich colour. Went up half a size to enable me to wear jeggins inside plus I have wide feet. Lovely warm lining. You need to stand up to put these on. Very snug initially. Once zipped up really comfortable and cosy to wear. Walk about indoors and they seem to adjust around your calf. I am 37cm mid calf and with jeggins on fit snugly around the leg no gaping at the top. Super fast delivery and packaged well. Best price and free delivery. Well done Amazon!!

Swift delivery. Boots are well made and really nice style. Usually I am 5 1/2 but I opted for 6 - it fitted perfectly. Regarding the circumference around the calf area, a bit on the tight side due to fleece lining. I am 42 cm around my calf and it was a bit difficult to do the zip up for the first time. However, I worn them all day today and it slightly loosen up. It is nubuk so easy marks but it gives a more of a country look. Overall, highly recommend; perfect for English winters.

Why oh why are knee boots so narrow in the legs these days. I only measure 37 cm at widest point on my calf (really not that big) but I could only get the zip done up half way. I bought a pair of brown knee boots last year and they fit my legs perfectly even over thick tights or leggings.so I know it isn't just me. The boots are good quality (what you would expect from Clarks) and these would have been great as my new snugly black boots but, sadly they had to be returned.

I walk to and from work every day in all weathers, about an hour and a half, and depend on a good pair of boots that are well-fitting, durable and waterproof. These boots are all of these things. I love the shade of the leather- I would say, walnut brown. I am a size 3 and purchased a size 3. The fluffy interior makes the fit quite snug but I've worn them constantly for about three weeks, over leggings or woolly tights now and am delighted by how comfortable they are.
