Two very excellent pens for £12! OK, these are smallish pens and quite lightweigt, but they deliver the good. These pens are all metal, with a hard stove enamel coating, hinged chromed clips and so forth. The ballpoint has a twist action and takes most good quality standard Parker/universal refills. The fountain pen is supplied with a long international cartridge: it will also hold two short ones. The fountain pen will accept narrow converters (a little difficult to find) but Pelikan cartridges are cheap and a good option (it will take one long, or two short). The handling is better (for me) with the cap posted. The nib holder is polished metal which feels both slippery and quite narrow: applying some clear nail varnish to the silver metal barrel may improve the grip. The pens are a little on the small side and may not be suitable for long essays. The fountain pen nib is very smooth - very smooth - so any reviews whining about scratchiness are due to ignorance. The feed tends to be quite wet and there's not much character to the stroke unless the nib is pressed down a little. The nib (on all new fountain pens) needs to be washed in soapy water - and dried - before use.Recommendation - buy one and be impressed for just £12.

Although I'm not a big fan of shiny metal parts in a pen, I did give this pen a go. It is probably the most comfortabe ballpoint pen in my hand. Refill is smooth - one of the best ones if not the best that I've tried, and I tried many different refills as I like smooth writing. Other refills that would reommend are stabilo refills blue ad back (plastic and cheap to buy, smooth writing, M seems wider than most other medium. Ballograf in M blue (not F), and Schneider slider, both in F and M, blue, black or red. Some do like Schmidt refills that come in range of colours, however Fine refills are not very smooth. Fisher pressurised refills are smooth but sometimes hit and blue refills are rather dark. You can buy a stabilo plastic pen with refill inside for circa £2 while this refill alone cost over £5. Stabilo seems smooher to writhe but writes wider line. The ones that I would not recommend are expensive Caran d'Ache that have flow issues after some use and blue collor is faint. You can use G1 refills in your Caran d'Ache pens, they fit almost without problem. All in all this pelikan pen is excellent pen and for now my first choice when it comes to refills.

It is quality a twist action, plastic barrel pen with solid metal fittings and an all metal cap which features a sprung pocket clip. The refill is the standard international / Parker type.Very well made. There's not much more to say, except that at around £5 or less it's a no-brainer. Sadly a few people lacking brain power give this pen 1 star because they are unaware it has replaceable refills, won't automatically make them intelligent or give them a better undesratning of hopw the universe works. The prices asked for the Pelikan Jazz pen varies wildly from remarkably cheap to ridiculously high.

I have always liked this brand of pens, they are well balanced and comfortable to write with. However on this occasion I am only giving 4 * as the product was advertised as having black ink and it is actually blue.In the big scheme of things this may not matter to a lot of people, but I am required to use black ink in the work place, to make it easier for it to be scanned and/or photocopied and this set was bought for the purpose of using it at work.OK I could put in a replacement black refill, but why should I need to when I saw that it was advertised as having black ink in the first place?

This pen provides a nice alternative to the usual brand of slightly upmarket ballpoints. The weight of the pen is really nice and the shaft of the pen is also very smooth. The ink is nice and is consistent in quality. So far I have used the pen for a couple of weeks and have no complaints. One of the factors that makes this pen extra special is the clip on the top of the pen is on a hinge, meaning it fits nicely into a top pocket without force and without damaging the pen or your top.

German quality Pelikan pen for three quid.Got a few just to give away as little gifts around Xmas time. Thinking eco. Too many disposable pens in the landfill will never disintegrate or decompose. This pen has got a potential to last and serve good purpose for a change. Hopefully contributing to education of passionate about environment people.

Lovely pen, really nice to write with at a great price. My only thing is I was expecting the ink to be the colour of the barrel, as to me that is how it is described. However it is a normal blue like any other blue pen.Glad I didn't order the other colours thinking I would be getting different colour inks.

This is a really lovely quality ballpoint pen. Nice weight, smooth twist action, and takes Parker style G2 refills. Paid less thank £3 for mine, absolute bargain.

This pen is really nice, the weight is excellent and it is very nice to write with. Would recommend as an alternative to the other major brand.

Great value for money. Great brand. Top quality writing instrument - good weight with seamless ink flow. Overall, an excellent purchase.

Mostly metal, rather over-engineered, great handling . . . ridiculously cheap. Knocks Parker Jotters in to a cocked hat.

I absolutely love this pen. I had MontBlancs Ballpoint pens I wrote with. It did not beat this pen! I am converted!

30.5.2020

High quality, mostly metal, over engineered, good handling . . . 10x better than a Parker Jotter . . and cheaper.

Fantastic value for money. A very solid, stylish and comfortable pen for the price of a disposable.
